Is way back what's up beautiful people, it's you guys and i alia and welcome back to another video now don't even get me started because we bout to fix it, but anyways y'all. Today we are working with curls, queen hair, and they sent me a cute little ponytail that i'm going to be using today to do my little slick back and i'm also going to show you a couple. Other slick back styles y'all can do and some very, very good gels that y'all can use for type four hair. That will really have your hair slicked down laid all day so without further ado, let's get into the video, so in the little bag they sent me a little bonnet along with the ponytail we're going to be using today and then a little brush, which i will Not be using on my hair, because these bristles are not thick enough: y'all they're, just not thick enough for my actual hair. So with that being said, i'm not going to use this brush, but this ponytail um i'll, have the exact detail and link for this ponytail. In the description box down below, but i'm going to guess and believe you know, maybe it was 16 inches. I don't know but yeah okay, you guys so for the first part of this process, i'm going to go through it, i'm just going to detangle my hair with my wide tooth comb and i won't be using any heat throughout this process. So that's why i'm just going to detangle my hair to a point where it's more easy for me to work with, and you know whatever whatever that is for you, then i'm gon na part, my hair straight down the middle, because i wanted a middle part slick Back and so you know just make sure it's lined up in the middle - it's not crooked, or nothing like that, and so from there i'm gon na kind of comb, my hair back just as best as i can without any product or anything back into a little Low ponytail type thing - and this is just so my hair - is kind of already in that position for when i go through and add gel, which you guys can see i'll try to put those gels in my description box. But if they not, if they're not there, then i already have a video up on my channel with. You know: details about these gels with the links and how i do my edges and everything else. But right now, i'm just going through with the edge booster for coarse hair, make sure it says that and i'm separating my edges and just applying the edge booster on my part and then also around the perimeter of my ponytail and with the edge booster. A little really goes the long, a long way because after we kind of use that to just brush - and you know, kind of mold - the hair down we're going to go back through with extreme gel, which is key to this process, because those two ciao i only Use them together, because if you use either one of them separately, one of them may not be strong enough or one of them may turn white. So i always use this combination together, but, as y'all can see the edge booster really has you know my ponytail already kind of sleek and laid and stuff, but it could be better. So that's why we're going to add in this extreme gel and so as y'all can see. I just got my low bun down there and i'm going back through and just adding a little bit extreme gel. Basically, i'm coating every area that i applied the edge booster. I'M going back through and coating that with the extreme gel and they just blend together perfectly. I just have to let it sit there just a little bit or just rub it in, and you know it works. You know just fine and last but not least, just to catch some last minute fly aways and for some extra security i applied just a little bit more of the edge booster and now to secure this whole little ponytail ordeal. I'M going to take off the ponytail holder that i had on the lower. You know ponytail bun whatever and i'm going to reapply it, and so that way, all the little hairs that i kind of gelled and didn't really make the cut, will now make the cut into the ponytail and, as you all saw in the previous step, i had Already applied a little bit of edge booster to my edges, and so now i'm just going through and swooping those and i'm going to like to have the middle part free from any. You know edge. Basically, i like i like it to just be part, and so i wanted to kind of style my edges just on the sides of my hair and if y'all want a detailed tutorial on how to do my edges. I have a video on that on my channel. Already and so now it's time to apply the ponytail and, as you guys can see, there's kind of like a little pocket for you to put the ponytail over your bun or whatever you already have, and then you can just use the drawstring to kind of tighten It up, and so, as you all can see, i'm just now wrapping the drawstring around my ponytail. Try not to do it too, too, tight because it's kind of going to get annoying on your hair. If you do, but as i wrap around once i get to the end to where it's like the length of a hair tie, i just twist, and then i wrap it around my ponytail as if it was a hair tie until it's kind of like in a Comfortable position under the ponytail and then from there. I grabbed like extra hair that was on the ponytail and do the invisible little ponytail like wrap around with the hair and stuff like that. And i didn't use any product for this portion because because the hair was like already curly and whatnot, it kind of just wrapped around very nice and secure, and you know that really did the trick and so here's the final look of the middle part slicked back With this beautiful ponytail, and so now, we're gon na go ahead and do one more style well, technically, two more styles, with this hair, but yeah, okay, you guys so right now, as y'all can see i'm just kind of spraying and like combing, my hair out just To kind of loosen that gel up and this time around, i'm just going to do like a no part, ponytail slash blend, and so the most important thing right now is to just loosen the gel up and kind of comb, my hair towards the back, and so Once that done once that's done, i'm just going through with a little more edge, booster gel and, as you can see, i got my heart bristle brush and i'm just brushing my hair towards the back, and this one is a lot easier once your hair is, you Know, nice and detangled, and especially when it's dry, because when it's wet it can be slippery. But the brush makes everything so much easier and just makes you know stuff flow. So and so now i'm going through and i'm just trying to get that into a little ponytail back there not really like low ponytail. So it's not at the bottom of like my head, but it's more so kind of just in the middle right. But the hardest part about this is just brushing your hair to where you don't have a hump in your head, and the most important thing that you need to do in order to not have a hump in your head is just make sure that your hair is Detangled and just use that brush just use that brush and just rub your hair into your ponytail until that part goes flat and yeah, and so now that our slick back ponytail is done. We'Re just going to go through with the process again and add that ponytail onto my head and this time you know just really make sure you get your bun or whatever you have into that pocket and use that jaw string and kind of wrap around and make Sure it's comfortable because the worst thing is putting this ponytail on and your scalp is getting stabbed by clips, or it's just entirely too tight. So it still looks really really good. Even if it's not super duper tight because mind you, you don't need to have a thousand. You know. Hair ties: that's basically what the drawstring feels like an extra hair tie, so just definitely be careful and be mindful when you put this extra ponytail, and so as y'all can see it's looking so cute, looking so good and just to add on an extra style. If you guys wanted to, i thought this was really really cute, just wrapping it into a nice little bun, putting a hair tie over it and calling it a day, okay, y'all! So that's all i have for today's video, hopefully y'all enjoyed today's tutorial and y'all are going to try y'all some nice little ponytail styles literally. I can't wait to wear this to the gym, because this is like like that, but anyways i will make sure i put the exact link to this ponytail in my description box down below the hair is from curls queen hair, so huge shout out to them for Sending me this ponytail today, but you already know, click smash smack that subscribe button down below, and i will see y'all on my next video
