Hi you guys thank you so much for tuning in today's video is going to be on this goddess braid. It'S a nice, easy, convenient protective style. That'S why I love it. So if you want to see how I achieve this look, just stay tuned, okay guys! So I'm starting off with freshly washed and conditioned hair, you can choose whatever leaving you want to use in your hair, I'm choosing the apogee leave-in um. So I'm just going to spray that throughout my entire hair and then I'm going to start sectioning my hair off of the four sections, so I can start to detangle you can choose to do this hairstyle on damp hair or dry hair. It'S totally up to you. I just prefer to do mine on damp hair, okay, you're, going to take your moisturizer, I'm using curly kids, creme conditioner, you wan na! Take your whatever moisturizer you want and then put that onto your section of hair and then you're going to take a wide tooth. Comb and then start to detangle, oh and before I started to detangle my hair. I applied my castor oil and olive oil mix to my scalp. Just so you know I can keep this hairstyle up for a few days and I have to worry about my scalp. Getting into your anything, so that's why I applied that I'm really liking this moisturizer. I know it stays for kids, but I like to use it on my hair because it's so thick and creamy. So I really like it for, like my protective styles and everything so you're, just going to continue to detangle your hair into every section is detangle once you're done, detangling your hair you're, going to take your eco styler gel, apply that to your edges. If you need it, I just had a relaxer like two and a half weeks ago, so I don't really need a whole lot, but I'm just going to apply that to my edges and then take my 100 % boar bristle brush and start to brush those edges Down now, I'm just going to brush my hair back into a ponytail and then take one of my ponytail holders without the metal band and put my hair into a ponytail after I put my hair into a pony, I'm just going to take a clip and pin My ponytail up so that when I put on my satin scarf, my my opponent's head won't be in a way, so I'm just going to smooth everything out and then I'm going to take my scarf and put that on and tie it up just so. This is just all my edges can lay flat before I start to braid. Now that my edges are being laid, I'm going to take the clip out and let my hair air dry a little more okay guys. I went ahead and did my makeup and halfway through my makeup process, I took off my scarf just to let my hair dry a little more till it's about 90 % dry, because I don't want to braid my hair when it's like, wet or damp to damp Or anything because that can cause breakage or whatever. So now, I'm just clipping my hair, I didn't party down the middle. I just flipped one side of my hair just to pin it off the way, so I can do this first braid. So I'm taking this small section of hair first and I'm going to start off with three pieces of hair, then we're going to slowly start to braid. You want to go on kind of slow when you're braiding your hair and be very very careful. So you don't want your hair to tangle up and snag you're, going to continue to braid your hair all the way down and make sure that when you're braiding, you're smoothing it as well, because you don't want your hair to be tangled up by the time you Get to the end so make sure your smoothie and braiding at the same time and just continue to braid it into the very ends once you're done with that side, you're just going to repeat the same step to this side, you're going to take a section of Hair and then start to braid those pieces of hair and then you're going to just continue to braid until you get all the way to the end, I'm sure done braiding. This is how it should look at the end. So now what you're going to do is take some bobby pins and you know just correct any flaws or any mistakes that you might have made during the braiding process. My thumb here was a little bulky right there. So that's why I put that first bobby pin in and now I'm just going to take the braid and put it all the way up to the up to the next braid. If that made sense. So now just bobby pin in my nose all the ends of my hair down and I'm taking the other braid and putting it up to the next braid and I'm going to just bobby. Pin that one down too. And then I have a little piece of hair sticking out that I'm going to bobby pin as well, so any mistakes that you made. You know you can always correct them by putting a bobby pin in or whatever click. Now your edges, if you need to I like to pull out my edges a little bit on the side right there, just to give the hairstyle a little bit more character, but this is basically the finished look once you're done. It should look like this yeah. So that's basically it you guys hope you enjoyed it thanks for watching bye,
