Hi beauties pkj here welcome back to my channel. So from the title you guys see. This is a demo slash tutorial and how I go about doing pink curls in my hair. How much you guys don't know what pink rolls are it's just a natural way of creating curls or waves to your hair, without using any form of this hair that I have is pretty much old, pin curl that I had in my hair. I did it like three days ago, but right now the hair loosened up its bail. Really I can rock it if I want and I'm just gon na freshen this up and, as you guys see how I go about doing that. You guys checked on my previous video you're gon na see where I did a little trim to my hair took off a little bit, so that explains my hair looking a little more full to the ends, so not raggedy or anything like that. So you know definitely consider cleaning up the ends of your hair. You know if you find it looks a little limp, a little tired and also taking off those split ends. You know once you platter with things so off your hair is just gon na just start. Rejuvenating and it's gon na look a lot more healthier yeah now. I also did another video prior today and I spoke about introducing the black jamaican, castor oil back into my haircare regimen, which I have been using for a past couple of days and it's really doing great in my hair. So I went ahead and I already moisturized my hair with that. I just applied something to my scalp worked it in, but you know, castor. Oil is a really thick heavy oil great to use it with like a carrier oil or something to just break it down. Get it a little more loose, but I like to use it straight, so I put it into an applicator bottle who has a little nozzle make a little pinhole to the end. So it's easy to go about just you know distributing it throughout the scalp. You know just to have a lot more control of it, because you definitely don't want to have a lot of oil in your hair, because that's really just gon na weigh it down. If you have too much in one spot so yeah you definitely don't want to do that and then I just went ahead and massage that into my hair, because you know massaging is a great way to stimulate blood flow to the surface. It really helps to rejuvenate your hair and also helps in hair growth as well. So as much as I love using my fingers and massaging my scalp, I have this little tool. I had this for quite a while, but I just pulled it out. The other day started using it again. It has these little Springs and these little bowls to the end of it. So you know it's easy to go through the hair. You just kind of work it in there. It'S feeling really really good um. I actually have an itch right here, so this feels really good yeah, so um, I just massage just go through and just work this through my hair, but being very, very careful, because these little friends could get a little intertwine in your hair if you're moving a Little too rough and aggressive by you know massaging your hair. It could snag the hair, so it's good to be really gentle with this, and it works really well. My white tooth comb - and I also have my tail comb just in case. I need it, but for the past couple of days, usually when my hair like this, I don't go ahead and start combing it through or anything. I just kind of like finger comb and loosing it up, and you know that works really well, but just in case I need those. I have it some little clips. You know if I need to hold my hair back, also have my clips to hold my hair down. These are some little duckbill clips that I really like you know you can use hair, pins or bobby pins if you want for this as well, but I just prefer to use these little clips cuz. You know there's so sturdy and they seem to have a little more security as far as like you know, holding the hair in place so have these. So with all that said, my hair is already moisturized and everything. So, let's just go ahead, and just so the whole objective is taking out small or medium sized sections of your hair, rolling it up toward your scalp and then firmly flattening it down and pinning it. So it stays into place. I'M probably making this look really easy, but trust me, I had my days of struggling to actually make these curls. So for those of you who are probably first-timers, I have a hard time actually doing this type of curl. I'M gon na show you guys a simple way to go about creating these curls to your hair. I was using my fingers wrapping the hair around it and then actually loosening it up, swirling it around and getting it up onto the head and then clipping it down. That may seem a little hard. It may seem a little difficult for some of you, but I have an easier way that you can actually get the curls, because you know twisting the curl up onto your finger can be a little kind of difficult. So if you have your curling wand or you have your curling iron, something with a round barrel, as you can see, this is not plugged in at all. It'S just gon na be used as a guide to help you create those curls. So what you can do you just take your hair out and just as, if you're wrapping it around your finger, you wrap it around the barrel of whatever you have. It doesn't even have to be any of these Hot Wheel devices. Anything! That'S um! That'S round enough! You know in the cylinder form that you can actually create your curls with you. Do this and then you just slide it off you twist your curl up the same way and then you take your clip of whatever and you just clip it in place. So it's a much easier way that you can create your curls rather than using your fingers, because I know that can be a little difficult for some of you. So that's a really great alternative. As far as creating your curls just make sure that you pin your curl down properly and it stays in place now, I'm gon na show you guys how I do that again. I'M just gon na go over on to this side. You'Re all free to use your comb and section your hair out, but with me I just prefer not to be combing my hair out too much. I just like to use my fingers to section my hair. So again, I'm gon na show you guys how I go about doing that, so I'm just gon na wrap the hair around it like that curl it all the way up, as if you're really making your curls slide the barrel off, make sure that you're holding on To the curl and you just swirl the crew in a little tighter and flat against your head and then you just go ahead and you pin it down you clip it down or whatever just making sure that it is secure. I'M gon na do another one. So you guys can see you know if your hair is quite long. You know this will be a great alternative for you to get those curls going, because wrapping curls up on to your fingers with long hair could be a little kind of challenging. So, by doing this alternative, it can work just as well, and I just came up with this one day, because I was just having so much problems. Actually this little curling wand. It may not be my heated friend all the time, but it's great to create some pin curls in my hair without using my fingers. So you guys try it if you want you know and depending if it's something that can help you to create the curls all well and good, okay. So so far I already have the front of my hair done. Let me just go ahead and do the back. So since I already got this shortcut on hand, I'm going to go ahead and continue using the barrel of this curling wand to create my curls. I'M also going about doing this in no particular order. As you can see, I'm just sectioning little areas of my hair and just curling it up and pinning it down now. These Pinker's can also be used as a protective style. If you don't like to have your hair braided up or tucked into a ponytail, but you can definitely use this as a protective style, but you know with different color pins. Definitely not these silver pins, many hair pins will be a better option or bobby pins. You know those are just dark-colored, but something that's just gon na make. It look all camouflage. You know and not too outstanding, like these silver clips, but you can definitely rock this as a protective style as well. Now, for those of you who find it really hard to put in rollers or flexi rods, or things like that in your hair to create equalist curls, this is a great way to go about doing that. It'S very lightweight and comfortable to go about your day and also to sleep with, so this is a great option as far as going about creating curls or waves that are heatless in your hair. Sometime down to the final, a piece of hair that I'm going to curl up and I'm gon na allow this to sit in my hair for a couple of hours, or this can last as long as a day or two. You know, depending on what your preference is and then, when you take it down, you're gon na have a lot more defined curls. The longer you leave it in so I'm just gon na have to sit for a while before taking them out and that's pretty much it. I think I can see the curling wand helped me to form my clothes in half the time. Then, if I was actually using my fingers, because I know that can be a little challenging for some of you guys, you know so you can use your curling wand for other reasons, other than actually using it to put heat in your hair. So using the barrel of that curling wand or any sort of item that has a cylinder form that you can actually roll your hair around and in slide it off will give you great alternatives. As far as helping you create those pin curls. So I'm just gon na go like to sit in for my hair a little bit and I'm gon na come back and let you guys see the results you okay guys. So this is pretty much the final look of this whole pin curls. So I hope you guys enjoyed this video do try this on your own, and you know. Let me know how it comes down.
