Simple Mohawk (Frohawk) Hairstyle (Relaxed Hair) (Tutorial)

Here's an easy Mohawk hairstyle on relaxed hair. A Mohawk on natural hair can just as easily be created using the same Mohawk tutorial. Wearing the same hairstyles all the time can be boring, so decide to give this a try. When I first did it, I posted it across my social media sites and received quite a few comments, likes & requests to do a video.

But this video was filmed weeks ago, but had to be put on hold due to a family bereavement, but I've now decided to put it up.

Hope you enjoy x

Hi everyone and welcome back to another video, so space, video I'll, be showing you how I created this mohawk style for those of you that saw me post across my social media sites. You wanted me to do a tutorial for you, so here it is, and if you want to find out how I done it, they keep watching, ok, so to create this style. I use about 16 flexi rods and applicator brush 7 bobby pins 2 hair bands. My Cantu shea butter conditioning creamy hair lotion, a bristle brush and a small tooth comb now before getting started with the style I washed my hair. I conditioned it and I air dried it before applying the Flex to my hair, and so I applied it and I left it overnight and then in the morning I took them all out just to let you know all the videos that you just saw. I have on my channel, so you want to check them out I'll leave all the information in the description box, and so yes, I was taking out all the flexi rods and yet because you can see, I accidentally left one in at the back there. I did take it out in the end, and so yes, I'm just going to section the front part which is going to be the quiff section of my hair and I like to use an applicator brush rather than a small tooth comb, because it prevents the comb From getting caught in my hair, so I'm just going to basically use a boy pin just to pin the front down to work in section the rest of the hair to create the style, there's so many different ways. You can create this style. This is just one that came to mind and I thought I'll give it a try and that solutely loved it, which is why I shared it across my social media sites. Ok, so the middle part, I'm just using the hair band just to keep it out of the way. So I can deal with the other sections of my hair and I'm using my little bit of my moisturizer to my hair and just as it's moving up the the nape and the edges just to make sure it's nice and slick and my hair looks good. The middle section here, I'm just again, gon na, do exactly what I've done with the back section. We'Re gon na apply my Cantu conditioning cream hair lotion to the sides of my hair and to the rest of my hair and smooth it use the my Bristol brush. I like to make sure that when I am just moving it that I've got a nice slick, look everything is in place and I'm just basically using the smooth some to comb just to smooth it over. So there's no hair out of place when I'm applying the hairband. I only tie it around twice. I don't do it any more than that. So don't like my hair to be too tight and pulling on the edges. So really again, it's just making sure everything is in place, so the top part here is what I'm going to be doing equipped with when I done the style the first time around. I absolutely love the way it looks. I was quiet, yeah kind of nervous doing it again, just in case my hair didn't come out exactly how I wanted it, especially this top part of the quiff, because it can come out sometimes perfectly and sometimes not as great, but it came out quite well. So I'm happy with how that turned out, and then I just used a bobby pin just to pin it down and to keep my hair in place. I think, all together by youth about seven bobby pins and what I'm doing really is just to make sure that the hair covers over the the partings, and you know the three sections of my hair. So you really get that Mohawk. Look it's up to you! How many bump, in G news, obviously once hairs different, so you don't have to use seven. You just use whatever works for yourself. Okay, that's! I said I've used seven, just to pin it down and covering up all the areas. So you get that nice style created and just moving over my baby hairs just to you know, which is what I always do. Actually, when I'm styling my hair and that's the finished, look really um, that's just the back the sides and the whole look. So I hope you enjoyed that video. I hope you found it useful if you've got any questions, feel free to post them below thanks so much for watching
