Bonjour welcome back to another brand new video. It'S me nelia. Today'S video is another hair video and we are going to be a rather. I am going to be trimming my ends. Yes, i need to let's talk about why today is our wash day. It'S another wash day. We are three weeks post relaxer. I am about to exercise i'm currently in my workout gear. I'M going to be doing like a um, fast walking, but i'm going to wash my hair after i uh when i'm showering i'm going to wash. I will deep condition and i'm going to do a treat so when we did my relaxer in february january, so in january, i'm through exposed relaxer when we did the relaxer. One of the things that she mentioned to me was that i had a lot of ends. Um especially split ends, and we did cut some of them, but she did not want to cut like too much of my hair because it was like so long and like everything else is healthy, but we did have some ends now. That was one of the issues that i was struggling with when my hair was natural. I consistently got single strand knots and when i relaxed my hair, some of my strands still had the knot. So last week i was running like right now i was running my hands through my hair. I just snugged one right here. They aren't many, but i can feel it sometimes when i am running my hands from my hair and i want to get rid of it. So that i can have a really nice um, smoothness and also it it's gon na grow out better, because i was doing some research on how to get rid of single strand knots ps. If you hear any background noise, it is saturday, so the roads are busy and also we got like a different um quarantine quarantine. What do you call that coffee time so everyone's excited? So it's very busy? Yes, so i was running my hands through my hair and i was feeling the texture, because at the ends in some of them some of the places, so i was doing some research on how do i get rid of single strand knots on relaxed hair um? I don't think i found any what i did find was on caucasian hair and all the videos were mentioning that i had to cut them, because if i did not the split would continue, especially the split ends. It would continue to rise and split my hair. So what i've been doing is looking at my hair strands in like very natural light, to see where i have some, and there are some places that i have like two split ends on one strand and i just broke them off because it was going to keep Rising up and continuing to do the split now this could have been as a result of me, heat training, my hair and getting some heat damage, because i typically would take care of my natural hair like i'd, wash it moisturized and i'd keep it. I did not manipulate a lot, i always tied my hair, so it was not rubbing a lot on or like on fabric and stuff, and i typically kept it up. I did not keep it out, i'm dropping like dropped, it would be in twist, except it would not be like in the best twist they would be like super stale, sometimes because i did not really know what to do with it. It was getting so difficult to manage if you haven't watched my relaxer video, like the, why i have why i relaxed my hair video. I will link that in the info card right. There so definitely check it out afterwards, but i think that from the heat training, the poor management of my natural hair as well, not being able to manage my natural hair that caused some of the um. The friction. The split end, sorry and also my natural hair, was beginning to break, especially in the is this called your nape area. I'M not even sure. Is this your name. Your nap is your neck, so my edge area, my hair, was beginning to break there, not so much in the back. I do have a little bit of breakage in the back from my natural hair, so it's not consistently um like long overall. There are some places where it's shorter, for example, right here, because i was getting a lot of breakage in this area here. So let me show you guys right here see it's not it's not like the same length. This was one of my problem areas right here. Um, especially my edges, so i was last week i started to um like look at my hair in different lights in different parts, and i definitely have some split ends, but i was aware of that, but i did not realize as my hair, especially after my last Wash day i was able to see it better, so today i'm gon na do a wash. I am going to deep condition and i'm also going to do a trim so that i can get out some of them. Let me show you guys up close. If you can see some of it, if you can see like how my ends are a little bit um, i should probably do it this way see here. Some of my ends are not as smooth that's the way i'm looking for, especially on this side. It'S not as smooth, and i want to get rid of that now granted. I am not a stylist, i am not a professional, but i am going to um trim some of it. I won't do so much to it. I'D probably do like maybe about a few centimeters just to get like a really nice trim. I will see if i can do it on camera, i'm not sure as yet um, but that is the agenda for today. I won't be filming this wash day i'll. Just i will just film the um trim process and i will insert the clip in the end like maybe a day or two days after i like stride and relax um relaxed. As in it's like back and settled, and like kind of smoothed out, i will also not be doing a blow dry or blow out today. I will allow my hair to air dry as much as possible. I got the microfiber towels any heels. I will see you guys in the next clip where i will be trimming. My hair, i'm gon na trim my hair before i wash it actually so that all the ends can like wash out properly. So i'm gon na do that right. Now, i'm going to center! My hair or separate my hair in the center and try to trim the ends as best as possible. So this is what it looks like a before i'm granted. My hair has been in a bun for the last two days, so it's all curled up and stuff, but you can definitely see you see right here. You can definitely see some ends here. So let's go ahead and do that. I wouldn't do like a trim across, but i will trim like in sections not a lot just a little bit a smaller comb. Today'S wash day, i'm actually going to do a aloe vera, conditioner or deep conditioning before i wash my hair or like a pre-conditioning. I'M not sure how to say it, so i'm going to use like raw aloe and just like rub it through my hair. I'M going to show you guys shortly and for my shampoo and conditioner i will use the brazilian keratin shampoo and the keratin oil conditioner by ogx, and i'm going to deep condition my hair, like for five minutes after with olive oil. I think it is. Let me just kind of know: it's dark and lovely that can lovely packet. This is so. This is what we cut off today. All of this is ends focus on hair, focusing on my nail, but i it was not a lot just like the the literal ends. So let me get the um aloe vera and i'm gon na show you guys what i'm gon na do with i'm. Basically just gon na slice, it in three pieces, and i will peel off one side and use the gel on the inside. As a matter of fact, i'm gon na blend it up it'll be easier to apply yeah. That'S too much work. Okay, so we have our aloe vera. We have our um again my foot foam. We have oliver we've already trimmed our ends. I am going to set section my hair into four. I'Ve already put some hair, and then i will kind of like do a pre-conditioner with it to add some shine and i do have. I do tend to get um, not flaky scalp, but like dry scalp. So my hair, my scalp, tends to be itchy, sometimes especially when it has a buildup of sweat, and that is not something new. I'Ve always had it like forever forever and ever so. It'S gon na help, soothe that as well, and i am going to massage it in sections. Leave it on for about 10 minutes, and then i will um rinse it out shampoo, my hair condition my hair and then put my deep conditioner. So, let's just section our hair first, let's do the back face. So first things: first, i'm going to detangle my hair and i will take oh, it's slimy one of these pieces and i will it's going to get messy and, as i go along, i'm just going to like poke it with my fingers, will pop out more gel And i have one piece for each section and i'm going to massage that in easier way would be to blend the aloe juice, which is what i used to do with my natural hair. I would blend the juice with some water and some essential oil. Usually, i would use like peppermint oil to stimulate my scalp and i would um leave it on for a while. Okay, it's gon na get messy on the floor. I literally just cleaned it yesterday, like mopped and everything like a really deep clean. The floor is gon na get messy. Okay, i think i'm going to do this off camera because it's going to get messy over here and i do not want to be cleaning today at all. But this is what it looks like and i'm trying to get as close to my scalp as possible to like rub that in - and i am i've pretty much used this piece already and i have two extra pieces there. I will come back in the end and see if i can like massage it everywhere else, but that is that i'm gon na leave it on. Let'S wrap that and do the rest of the sections be right back, not gon na do this on camera. It just got a little well, it started to rain okay, so i am done currently in my room because it started raining. So this is the best lighting, but i have saturated my hair. I have it in two sections because i'm going to wash it into sections to help ease the process of detangling and not snug in my hair, whilst i'm washing, i always do that and i this is about so i really really saturated it, especially the ends because I wanted to get like really super moisturized and my scalp on my skin aloe itches, my skin, so my neck is currently irritated, but i'm going to leave it on for the next 10 minutes and then i'm gon na go ahead and do my washing and whatever And shower it: okay, our hair is washed. It was so soft. I think i'm gon na get another bottle of the shampoo, because i'm almost out of the conditioner um compared to the tresemme that i used last week, this one well, my my hair was like melting. Like butter, it was so soft, so i'm gon na let it air dry, i'm going to tie my hair like the top hair with a scarf, so it doesn't get frizzy. I have sprayed my leave-in conditioner, i'm using the averages today um. I did not do the conditioning pack because my hair was conditioned with the aloes. I left it on for an hour, so i left it on for longer, but it was so easy to detangle. It was so soft. My hair was so soft, so lightweight um. I am not gon na pass a couple minutes right now, because i did that in the bathroom. Whilst the water was running down, i just sprayed the leave-in conditioner and i'm just gon na keep it on but yep. I, like it, okay, so i just detangled my hair. I did not detangle my hair whilst it was wet and it's something that i'm learning to not do that, because it's gon na cause breakage, but i just realized something. So this side of my hair is more. It'S straight not straighter, it's longer, i'm outside, so you can hit background noise. That'S what's happening it's longer, but then on this side is where i have had the most breakage when my hair was natural - and i mentioned earlier that this is where also i had the most ends, so you can definitely tell the difference here like this is like All the way down, but then hair, it cuts off hair. So this is my problem area um that i'm gon na nurture back to the best health as possible. My scalp is still um dump. Anyhow, i will see you guys tomorrow. I will i may not flat iron my i'm gon na try something this week and not flat iron, my hair, let's see how it works out: okay, quick updates, not naked, still or in a bundle top. I just put my hair in these um. What do you call those things again? Flexi rods? I got some so i'm gon na allow it it's pretty much like 95 percent dry, so i put in some jojoba oil and the hair polisher that i see fantasia hair pointer finger detangled my hair and i put them in some toys so tomorrow morning we're gon Na it's the following morning, my hair air, dried so perfectly away from the rods - and i do i created a short video on how i got these heatless curls. They are so beautiful, they're soft they're, bouncy they're, like oh they're shiny. I really really love this hairstyle and i think this is going to be one of my signature um. What do you call that? Not protective hairstyle but my signature ways of wearing my hair? What do you guys think? Let me know, but my hair dried really really. Nice, i did not put any heat in there, so i think i found a way to get my hair to be all beautiful and shiny and bouncy, i'm not sure yet for the straight look yet how i'm gon na get that, and you can definitely see that My hair looks shorter because it has the curls on, but this is my first time wearing the curls, the video on how i did this is gon na come up after this video sometime this week or on sunday. So definitely look out for that. If you want to see more hair videos, but this is it for my second wash day, video or my second um my three weeks post relaxer, i am loving the results so far. My grades are coming in more and more though at the front here, which is so interesting, so i'm not sure if i'm gon na dye it yet i'm thinking about it, but we will see. I have a box of dye in my bedroom like that office space. There, where i keep all my hair stuff, so i'm not sure yet we will see how it goes. Maybe in my on my next relaxer i will get the i will ask of the um stylist to dye it with like a natural black, not a jet black and natural black, because i, like the natural black, it looks more, it looks more toned down and the Red black is going to be very, very harsh on my skin. I think so we will see. I don't know, let's see usually also when i do dye my hair, when it's like getting the color is getting out. It has a very wet brown ashy, look which i do not like, and i already have an ashy vibe going on. Oh, are you not sure what you're gon na get we'll see? What do you guys think? Should i dye my hair jet black, or should i keep the grays or should i get another color not anytime soon for sure, but as time progressed but yep? So i will see you guys in the next video.
