Hey guys welcome to my channel Brianne live, so I'm starting off this braid out with freshly washed and conditioned hair. You want to see my wash day featuring ORS products and I will leave it in the information tab. So I'm just making sure that I know where I want to part my hair and I'm going in with my comb and parting. I usually would use like a different calm, wide toothed comb in a rat tail comb, but I just could not find any of my combs for some weird reason. So I just use this one, so I'm just going in making a precise part so that I can start braiding. So I'm just going to start off by parting sections to make my braids for my braid out, then I'm going to go in and detangle and of course I want these edges to be somewhat laid. So I'm using my kid shea butter extra hold edge, stay gel. This really doesn't work for me. Honestly, no edge control does, but I did put it on there because of course I just needed a light hole for the time being, then I went in with my kin. Shea butter, coconut corn, curling cream and just to add a moisturizer, then I went in with the tea tree. Oil and I didn't show it, but I will be showing it throughout the video I went in with my tea tree oil just to seal and lock in that moisture. So you just want to be careful when you're braiding, your hair during breaks out braid outs or any process of braiding your hair, just to make sure that you don't have any tangles and pulling and snagging. Then I'm just going to take my perm rod and curl up the end, so that may not be straight and they'll have some texture to them. So I'm just going to repeat this process all over so I'll. Let you guys watch as I breathe so here I am going in with my Petri oil and I'm just sealing with that. I'M also going to go in with my black Jamaican, castor oil and put it on my scalp and a little bit on my ends and then go ahead and continue braiding. If you guys can recommend any edge controls. I would greatly appreciate it. Like I've tried Hicks, I've tried so many different edge controls and they just don't work. I heard about Greenup gorilla snot and I think I want to try that, but I've honestly tried every edge control. I can. It just doesn't seem to work my hair, just kind of soaks it all up or is just greasy on the edges. It never fails, it never works. So if you have any suggestions of a great edge control, please leave them down below. I would greatly greatly appreciate it so right now, I'm just going to take my silk scarf and tie my hair up. I usually leave my braids in in overnight, because that gives me the best results. And honestly, the key to a great braid out is having your hair wet or damp when you're braiding, and also having making sure that it's a little damp when you're taking it out. In the morning that always has worked for me, it gives me the best results and I just let it so here I am taking out the braids the next morning. I don't take them out any particular way. I just go ahead and you know take them out. I'M not really afraid to get friends or anything like that, so I just kind of go to town so, like I said I can't find any of my comb. So I'm just using the back of this one to pick out the roots of my hair and make the parts kind of all blend in together make the hair a little bigger and puffier. I'M just going to go in and do this on both sides, especially in the front I've been flip, my head upside down and kind of shake it all out to the best of my ability and, as you guys can see, I have a lot of oil and Moisturizer in my hair, but this is why I don't use any extra oils when I'm taking out my braids out. So this is the finished results and I hope you guys enjoyed this video. I hope you got like my brain out in the way that it turned out, but I loved it. It was big voluminous in just very loose and just had so much body to it. So if you're wondering how I keep my hair at night, I just put it up in a pineapple and the next morning. This is me taking my hair out. I don't know. I believe this is like the fourth day that I had my braids out and basically I've just kind of finger detangle and tried to give it as loose as I can. Then I go back in with my shea butter and my oils to loosen my hair back up and get it back to normal. Now I knew I was going to be combing my braids out on this day, so I didn't put any rods at the end, but if you want it to look extra extra fresh and you know have the ends looking good once you put your perm rods at The end so that you know you can have it curled and it won't be straight because your ends will start to get straight. The longer you pat your braids out in so if you want to refresh it that way, then just add your perm rods, and you know just do this process every day and that's how you can refresh your braids out. So I'm going to just show you guys a little bit into my hair diary and that's basically a style that I do and showing you how it looks as the days go by. So I hope you all enjoy this video and I'll see you all in my next one bye,

Brianna Rashay: Thanks for all the recommended edge controls guys! I tried gorilla snot and that works wonders! Its a little too sticky for my liking though so I will continue the search but for right now thats my go to!

KaityT97: I used to think i couldn't get curls with relaxed hair you're savin ma heart

Top Self: Finally someone with my same hair texture. Thank you YouTube Jesus!!! And she's so beautiful too.

LaShantell Williams-Nwanju: Beautiful This came out great. relaxing my hair after 15 years of being natural and i was always afraid of not having definition with curls. This came out gorgeous though.

LadyT N: Your hair turned out great! I am almost 3 months post relaxer and was looking for tutorials on defined braid outs...this was a good tutorial! As far as a good edge control...I am like you...I've tried many (including Hicks, Creme of Nature, and silk elements to name a few). Ebin 24 hour edge control ranks #1 in my book! I love it. It is not flakey and you can put a little on each day without getting that "caked on" look. It is great!

HaiValPal: i really liked how you discussed the maintenance!! not a lot of people discuss how to maintain the hair when the style starts to die a bit. thank you for that! really made the video for me

shortymnp: This really was the best braidout video I've seen. TFS!

C Ali: I'm transitioning, so this would be a good style to mask my two different textures.

Nicheel Bayne: Ooh girl you had me shook throughout this video. Totally enjoyed it. Been natural for years never dreamed of a relaxer since 2008. Suddenly I decided to look up relaxed hair on youtube and came across your video. Not gonna lie, you and a few other youtubers with relaxed hair have me thinking twice. But my hair is in a terrible state. Too brittle to consider relaxing.

Rae M: This is exactly the video i’ve been looking for. Simple and similar to my braid out routine, school takes up a-lot of my time and I need an easy routine that won’t damage my hair!

QueenC: Now, that's what I call a natural, volumizing beautiful braid out!

Sarina Marie: Thanks for showing us the maintenance, I wasn't expecting that but it was a nice bonus! Also I have the same issue with edge controls, nothing has worked for me

TwistTVShow: Omg. Finally someone who actually shows you what the hair looks after the day and how to refresh it. There are TOO MANY hair tutorials that take SO MUCH TIME and just ARENT WORTH IT because they just come out that night!!! This is wonderful, please keep showing after-care in your tutorials, thank you soooo much.

Top Self: I gave up on edge control products a long time ago. Ppl gonna have to accept me for my bee-dee-bees

Naturally Gamer: Love love loved!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ this was a bomb slay!!! Very pretty!

Marcella X: Your braid-out is ❣️and I'm going to try it tonight. I was wondering if you knew that you're supposed to use cold pressed/raw coconut oil as a "carrier" oil when using tea tree oil or castor oil. Anyway, thanks for the tutorial ✌

Kyra Aaaa: Edge booster and magic effect and it’s another edge control I can’t think of It for ppl with thick hair It lays the edges perfectly

Patience Kasere: This is an easy and fantastic way of curling your hair thank you for sharing

Chill With Me: I really loved this! I have been searching all morning; looked at about 14 videos before I reached this one! Thank you; exactly what I was seeking!!!! Your face was beat, by the way!!

GENIE: Looked lovely and full of moisture x

T. Y.: I just tried this. Hope it comes out as cute as yours! fingers crossed

Ramona Keith: Thanks my baby love this new style I did the exact braid pattern

Mahalia Princess: When you put on your edge control, tie a silk scarf on your edges for at least 5 mins. It will help lock your edges into that place.

Whitney Laryeaa: Have you tried Jamaican black castor oil edge control? Someone recommended it to me at work and said it has great hold; her edges looked so smooth and silky with no flakes at all. She purchased it on Amazon and it has an orange lid. I plan on trying it soon because I have the same problem with edge controls

NoMore Procrastination: You rocked it. Great video. Wish I knew how to braid my hair.

Tianna LaShae Reed: I just want to say thank you!! I seriously want to cry! I’ve been searching and searching for people on YouTube that has had relaxers and could get their hair curly... everytime I searched it would be people who were natural and I would just get so devastated and go try buying products to help get curly hair I thought i would never come across anything like this ... THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!

Simone Figeroux: Beautiful! Sadly my hair type won’t allow it to stay this neat for long.

Zaryn Kamara: For edges use argon oil with Eco styling gel on top. This works for me, other edge control don’t do the job

Azukioable: The best edge control is the iamblessedhands edge control. I have 4d hair and it works wonders it really has your hair laid all day. It's a small black owned business btw. Hopefully I helped :)
