So guys, this is how my hair looks on friday. Today is friday. It is much bigger, fallen a lot more, but i kind of like it, but of course it needs to go. Let'S figure out how i got here, hey guys, welcome back to my channel in this video. I will be showing you how i take care of my braid outs for the whole week. My name is here from ja and if you're not a subscriber, go ahead and subscribe down below turn on your notifications to be notified every time, i upload a video and stay tuned so on day, one. Of course my hair is still braided. I use a thick hair serum to release the braids just take my time and just unravel the hair like in a reverse state. You guys already know how to unravel your hair. So i put these perm rods on my hair to ensure that my ends are not sticking out. So, whenever you're doing a braid out, it's really good to just curl the ends. So the ends aren't like straight when you remove your braids. I add the hair serum to my fingertips and i go ahead and on braid, so so hey guys, so i'm back home, it's currently nine o'clock in the night um. I just wanted to show you my hair, still curly still the same length. None of my curls have dropped, so i'm going to show you how i prepare it to go to bed. I'M actually not going to put anything in my hair because it's fresh um i'll start incorporating walls, maybe tomorrow. But let me show you how i put my hair up and preserve my curls okay, so you're gon na need something to hold the majority of your hair um. I generally use um this hold on this big old thing to hold my hair, because it's comfortable, i can sleep, fine um, but i bought these. It is much smaller to use and i got what two or six of them, six of them for 200, apparently, and then i use a smaller scarf to tie down my edges. So you put this around your head. Anyways put this around your head and i'm going to show you this because i have to bend down. So let me move you guys, so it's on my neck right now and i'm going to pull my head right over and use the thing, pull it all the way forward. Okay, so it's gon na be like this generally. When i use the pink thing is not in my face like this, but i'm gon na try to fix it. My hair is for sure longer than i'm used to. We just pull it up into a pineapple like this, so really truly only the hair, that's underneath. It'S gon na get scrunched, but the hair underneath is not being displayed. You know, okay, get it okay, so i tie it in like a small triangle, leaving the back like this to protect um the hair. That'S left out, at least so i tie it down. Okay, so it's tied down and it's up out of the way. What i'm going to do now is put my bonnet over it. Where is my bite, so there is oh and you're gon na put your bonnet on okay, so the hair is pretty much up here away from my pillow, when i sleep like this, when i sleep with this generator with on my back or on the side of My face and my hair is away so yeah, so i'll show you in the morning how it looks and then we'll take it from there good morning guys it is august 10th. Am i feeling right here? It'S august 10th, tuesday um my face match my body yeah. I don't see my body anyways. This video is practically going to be me in tank tops every day because i'm legit, that's pretty amazing for work, so i always wear one of these, so don't buy. The tiny tops anywhose. My hair is here covered. I'M about to show you what i do the second day of braid out. Okay, let me see it monday. Okay, so tuesday's done. Let me drop it pay attention to you guys. So this is how the hair looks on day. Two, as you may see, when i took it down, some of the sides were like looking straight, but when i pulled down this, the top part it just covered everything up. You just play with it again, don't play with down here, just kind of play with the roots to lighten it up. I don't think i need to put anything. What is this, why is it sticking to me? Oh, this is straight straight. Let me put this behind my ears: yeah, you legit, leave the house like this, so this is some hair looks on tuesday, um just observe it you can tell, but it needs something. I don't think my hair needs anything today. So i go on my way. I go on my way, observe your roots too, to see if you need any oils without looks. This outfit looks to sound like do so i'll touch base with you back tonight. Okay, guys so it's tuesday night tuesday night - and this is how my hair looks after work - it's kind of getting kind of crusty over here. My mom is talking hella loud, so sorry, um but yeah. I think i'm gon na oil, my scalp tonight, because it's been two days since my hair has been washed. It'S been more than two days i wash my hair on saturday, so yeah saturday, sunday, monday tuesday, it's been three days since my hair has been washed um. So i'm gon na oil, my scalp normally on my scalp, maybe once a week or twice a week depending on how it feels and i'm going to be using my atara oil has peppermint in it. So i get that so. This oil was sent to me by atara, along with the moisturizer guys. I mean i love this so much. Thank you so much atara for sending me these products. I really really love these products, so i'm almost out you can see where it is all right. Can you see where it is right there like 50 and they sent me a little tiny one as well? Of course, i finished like two days um, and then they sent me this and the cream. I really really really really love these products. It comes with this little cute applicator. So let me so okay, so you just do that to not disturb hair. You can see that this side is getting a little bit more poofy than this side, even though it has some little strings over here. But this side has more hair on my head. For some reason i don't know so. I just observed my ends to see if i need to spritz them up a little bit and spray a little bit of coconut oil on it. So it's good to have some um weightless coconut oil, because you don't want to weigh down the hair and have it come back to straight. So i use this product to just spread my hair out lightly and put it up in my bonnet. So it has been oil. You can see on my hands that it's oily and i lost a nail right there, but let's cover it up, you guys saw last night how i covered it up um, so we're just going to do the same thing. You see why this god slept on last night. Let me put it over here. Let me put it over there, okay, so it is covered and i'll see you in the morning hi morning guys. So today is thursday you're a bit higher, because i think i want to keep my hair up like this more neatly, but i want to keep my hair up like this, because i kind of like the effect that it gives. I generally i do. Um pin it up sometimes when i do this style. So that's what i'm mentioning that's what i'm going to be doing today, just ping it up right now it is still curly. For the part, it's still curly it's awesome, but i want to pin it up like i pin it mostly to the front. I try to bring the hair up closer to the front like this, but i think i left out too much hair down here. So something like this, but i'm gon na take up more hair all right. Let'S try again with my hair being a little bit longer my braid out some of the little cute styles i used to do. I can't do anymore because i have more hair length to contend with. Let'S put it back down, take a few pieces in the front, maybe just that, so you got the same amount on the opposite side. Yeah like that yeah or i could do a half up. Half down type of look yeah, i think i like the half of half down, but i'm gon na have to separate here just take your time and separate you're not going to have to separate with a comb, because you don't want to disturb your curls too much And you're not going to get like a sleek look, because your hair is curly, so don't be looking for a sleek look, please. I think i'm gon na take out more hair, so it's more fluffy and really and truly once you have disturbed the curls right here by pitting it up a little bit. You can't go back to this, so basically, you're gon na have to pin it up until friday when it's the last day which today's thursday so no issues. I can't identify my hair differently. Okay, so you just do it like that um kind of spread it out a bit, let the curls fall over the curls that are not so curly. They should have been up here. Let'S fix that with like a like a hairpin, i was looking for a smaller pin, but this will work just pin that up there. This is down here, make sure that it's not too much of my face, because i am going to work and then yeah right here. It'S poofy, let me pin it down and just pin it down with a hairpin too cover it. So for the edges, i bought an edge control and i haven't used it one day since i started okay, so this is the engine drill that i bought. If you watch my last video, you know where i bought this. I can't do edges. I have an edge brush for some reason um. So let me try to open this without making a mess. So, if i do, i just brush it down, don't need to comment down below and tell me how to do edges, because i'm going to be doing my own thing. Okay, that looks decent. Okay, no, no, no! No! Okay! On to the other side! Don'T know what i'm doing, but just to get the hair like kind of looking kept, i'm going to do my edges and i'm learning. I don't do my edges a lot. A lot of people ask me how i maintain my edges. I leave them alone. For some styles, you really need to um to like put your hair together, because this is really messy the hairstyle that i have right now. So if i do my edges, then it won't look so untidy. You know that's it should i do something here with the front. It does a little kitchen pieces and then everything up like i need to this it to the other side too. You all know that i can't do edges so, okay, okay, i can do this. I teach myself how to take care of my hair all the time when i saw this piece here. I didn't think it was this long, but i guess it was just curly just brush it in i don't like it. This piece needs to go over there. Okay, so this is how my hair looks for thursday. I'M actually doing a take talk. You guys saw this, i'm pretty sure i inserted a little bit of the clips in this video on my phone now all right guys, so i'm on my way to work. I'M gon na put some makeup on and i'll see you later bye, okay guys, so it is thursday night, and this is the night that i go in with my moisturizing, because friday is the last day i took my hair down and i came in from work Because having it up like how i had it this morning, wasn't so comfortable, my hair is still curling getting bigger. So it's definitely time for me to take it down or to detangle and start again. But tonight is the night that i do most of my moisturizing and sealing and i'm going to show you how i moisturize to ensure that i don't weigh the hair down or straighten the hair with the liquid consistency of a moisturizer. So you don't want to use um a liquid or a water base. Am i explaining right? You don't want to use a liquid moisturizer. You want to use something like a cream moisturizer. If you understand what i mean, so you wouldn't use um s, curl moisturizer. At this point you actually use like a cream base and the moisturizer that i'm going to be using is my atara moisturizer. It is a cream base, a good, thick cream that won't weigh my hair down um, it's actually just packed with oils and there's no water in the ingredients. So it's just oils and butters and different good ingredients in here, and this is how it looks. Nice thick, creamy, no runny consistency. So this is what you want to use and, of course, even though it is of this consistency, i don't use a lot in my hair. Just rub it on my fingertips: get it and legit just hold on to the hair the ends and rub it in there. This is going to allow the hair to look a little bit longer because, of course, i'm putting something in it to weigh it down, but it's not going to loosen the curls that it has a lot. You can definitely see. Why did i wear this color shirt? You can definitely see that it's now longer than this side, because i'm pulling onto it to actually moisturize it, and you want to do this in the night, because it's gon na leave like residue, because you can't physically rub it in so you wanna do it at Night - and you can definitely see that i do everything to the hair at night before i put it up um, so i don't have anything on my hair in the morning, so the edge control that i used today was really good. It held my hair for the whole day um, so i can still feel it in some places. So i guess it was a good buy. I don't normally have good experiences with edge control. I don't normally have good experiences with edge control, so i'm really glad that i found this one. My hair looks like when i was wearing my wig. Oh i love it so ceiling. You either want to use a very thick like serum type of oil or a very light mist type of oil. You don't want to use the runny oil and the type of oil that i alternate and using is this silk therapy by biosilk or the one that you saw me use earlier in the process, my coconut oil from ogx. So this is something that i used earlier in the process, maybe about first day to third day and then this or any type of hair serum is what i use, maybe fourth day to fifth day, maybe even six days, but i'm going i'm going um five days With this - and you rub it out in your hand, you just play with the hair, ensure that you get them ends and you push up because you don't want to drag down right. We got some in the back okay, so i think i want to wear my hair like up tomorrow, so i'm going to wear it up. I'Ll show you that in the morning - but this is how my hair looks on day, what four it still looks. Curly right comment down below, if you think it still looks, curly and i can go another week, but i'm not going enough a week, um so yeah, that's how i'm moisturizing sealants. If your hair tends to get a little bit dryer faster, then you can moisturize concealer in this particular order, um a little bit earlier in the process, but just observe your hair. Look at your ends to see what's going on with it, don't do braid outs! If your hair gets really dry and brittle when you leave it out like this, it's not for you, but your initial care is very important. So before you do the braid out, you saw where i um in my previous video, where i wash my hair. That is cold wash my hair, i should say - and i punched in the moisture before i did this so i kind of accounted for the moisture that i would not be able to put in my hair during the week. So you have to check that video out to see how i prepared to have my hair like this, so guys. This is how my hair looks on friday. Today is friday. It is much bigger, fallen, a lot more, but i kind of like it, but of course it needs to go. It needs to go definitely contemplating. If i should record me detangling tonight on this video or show you guys how i detangle all of this in a separate video, so stepping away from the camera, my hair does not detangled, and it's like this. Let me see the front is a little bit more straight, because you know i kind of touched the front a lot, but other than that this could be a nice summer, hairstyle this that wraps up really how i take care of a braid out for a whole, Because i stay for a whole week, a lot of you message me and ask me: you know how i take your braid out, how i keep it so long when i do at night, and this video is to really show you guys. What i do is really simple: all you need to do is ensure that you get the moisture into your hair one from the wet stage, and then you take your time when you're handling it during the week, but you should still enjoy that you moisturize and sew Your hair as much as possible without allowing the curls to fall down and by the way i did get wet today, because it was raining so that may account for the poofiness. But thank you guys so much for watching like share and subscribe. If you're new go ahead and subscribe, it's free go ahead, like this. Video share it with a friend, and i will see you in the next one.
