Hey guys welcome back to our channel, so I'm gon na show you how I got this heatless curls using flexi rods, and this method is completely idiot proof because I can do it so yeah, I'm starting out with my hair clean. I wash it a couple of days ago and I'm going to be using my big ol Becca flexi rods, but I'm only using the gray ones and I'm also going to be using the blue ones, but mostly the great ones. And then I'm using some oil moisturizer lotion and I'm just going to be basically moisturizing and sealing my hair, the lazy way. So I'm going to be putting that in and I'm taking some argan oil and I'm putting that off through my hair and just combing that out making sure it's evenly distributed, then I'm going to be parting, my hair in the middle, I'm not gon na, be wearing My hair in the middle, but I'm parting it in the middle because it's easier for me to just kind of see what I'm doing, because I get confused and yeah. So now I'm just going to be sectioning my hair and applying the gray flexi rod and I'm wrapping it around my hair around the rod in a spiral motion yeah. So let's do that again because I don't know if that was clear, but basically I'm wrapping it around in a spiral, curl type situation, and when you have a blunt cut like myself, the ends aren't going to be the hardest to get curled and tucked in so Just try your best, but if you don't get it so secure under the legs about it's okay, because that style is really right now the whole like curly at the top and the ends are kind of straight. So I wasn't too worried about that. And now I'm taking this smaller flexi rod, that's the blue one for the back of my hair, because the back of my hair is shorter than front because I have a bob and yeah. So I'm just going to keep doing what I've been doing, wrapping it around and it doesn't matter what direction you wrap the flexi rods, I'm just basically, my whole goal of this was just to get the flexi rods in my hair. I didn't really care how placement wise or how neat it was. I just want to wrap them around rod and get them in my hair, so they don't have to be neat and it doesn't matter what direction you curl them in. Just make sure that you are wrapping them around in that kind of spiral. Curl motion: that's the most important part, because that's how you're going to get that kind of spiral wave in the end. So in total I use approximately like ten rods, five on each side, and that was good enough for me. So I'm finished installing them and now I'm going to go to sleep. So it's the next day and I'm just going to be taking my hair out mop on it and then I'm going to just start taking out the flexi rods, nothing to it. As you can see, the curls are nice and springy and they're dry. That is reason why I don't put in a lot of products before I do these, because my hair will never dry. There'S been so many times when I try this and I put so much product in my hair and my hair would still be wet. The next day talk about pissed off girl anyways, so I'm just going to take them out and then I'm going to apply some argan oil. The same that I used last night and put that on the fingertips and begin separating the curls being careful not to disrupt the curl too much, because I have also done that where I just went crazy separating and then I was left with just a fluff ball. So, I'm being very careful as I right bees, then I am left with this and I am going to be putting it to the side because I love me a side part girl. So I'm just going to be parting, my hair to the side and playing with it and getting it to how I like, oh and a shameless plug this is this beat if you're enjoying it? I made it. I was just tired of getting like copyright infringement saan song, so I just decided to try to make my own beat. It'S definitely simple and basic, but you know something new. So next I'm taking an afro pick just to fluff out my roots. It'S not a lot to fluff because I'm relaxed so my roots aren't that fluffy but yeah. So I'm just playing with it and trying to really feel it out. Then I'm going to be taking my edge control, which I will have in the description box and I'm just going to be putting that on my edges. Tamika Felder: Quick tip: Start wrapping the hair around the rod from the ends, wrapping the hair around itself as you go up the hair shaft. This method will keep the ends secure around the rod. Loved the tutorial. God Bless! ☺
