In this hair tutorial I'll show you step by step how to create a quick and easy twisted half up half down hairstyle. This romantic look has that bohemian chic feel to it and works great for almost any hair length (from medium long to very long hair) and type (straight, wavy or curly). Such hairstyles are really on trend for both casual everyday wear and special events. This hairstyle will also complete your fairy tale create costume for Halloween if you plan to be a princess, fairy, mermaid or elf.

Hello and welcome to another hair tutorial, since I made a video on a Greek goddess inspired twist. It'S up to many of you asks me to create a similar hairstyle that would also be suitable for longer and thicker hair. So today, I'd like to suggest you this romantic half up half down hairstyle, but it hardly takes any time. I would also like to invite you to check out my pet haul video that I made for pet collective. So if you want to meet my lovely Birds and see what I've got for them, just follow the link in the description box for this hairstyle we'll be using only top layers of our hair, so section as much hair. As you can see, they're necessary for your length and volume and put the remaining hair into a ponytail so that it doesn't get in your way, we're up to sections of hair on one side of your head and start twisting them away from your face. After every twist grab some extra hair and add it to the closer section, keep twisting your hair along the edge of the top section that we reserved at the back, keep on twisting your sections in the exactly same manner as an extra hair. As you go, when there is no more hair left to end we're going to create a rope braid for that, keep on twisting your two sections toward your face about twisting the hair in each individual section in the opposite direction: lettuce, away from your face! That'S the trick that will make this braid stay secure then just tie the ends with a small elastic hide the braid under your twist or just wrap it alone. It in case your hair is much longer and thicker than mine and secure it with bobby pins. If you wish, you can pull out a couple of strands to frame your face. My own hair is actually way to stay and to pull off this hairstyle so for extra volume, I'm going to attach a couple of waves of hair extensions straight hair goes great. With this twist, but for a more romantic look, we can always add some curls. I firstly curled my hair, alternating the directions of curls and then split each individual curl into smaller ones, so that they look more natural. Now this hairstyle is complete, but for an even softer look you can brush your hair out. Remy N.: Oh my god I almost gve up on this one, but I remembered what you said in your modeling background video... try try again. I've wanted to try this on my hair for years. I have long fine wavy hair that tangled with a wisp of movement or wind so I had to modify it a bit, its not perfect but I'm getting there. In addition to tying off the bottom portion of my hair I had to tie off some of the top section of my hair so it wouldn't tangle in my fingers as I twisted the hair away from my forehead. I would have gotten tangled up without it but I loved the way this hairstyle gave the top of my head volume and framed my face. Thank you Lilith.
