This hair tutorial will show you how to create a twisted sock bun updo using a hair donut or sock donut. I've done a similar hairstyle in the past using two braids instead of a rope braid. To watch that tutorial, click here: http://youtu.be/M3J6_NeUqVc
This hairstyle will work on medium to long hair and it's perfect for school, prom, homecoming, weddings, etc! You can dress it up or down by making the bun messy or neat. :)

Hey guys in this video, I'm going to show you how to do this really easy twisted sock bun now this hairstyle will work on medium to long hair. So if you want to learn how to do this, based on watching first off gather your hair into a high ponytail, then tie it up with a very tight hairband. Next grab a section of hair from your ponytail, then divide it into two equal strands: to create the rope braid take the right strand place it over the left and twist it towards the right again. Take the right strand to place this over the left and twist it towards the right repeat the same steps until you reach the end, then tie it off with an elastic bands. So now you should have a ponytail and a rope braid. Next, you want to grab a stop donut or a hair. Donut like this grab the tip of your ponytail around the donut a few times then roll your hair down with the donut until it reaches the base of your ponytail. The base of the bun then secure it down with a few bobby pins, and that's all there is to it.
