Hey guys welcome back to my channel in today's video, we are going to be talking about haircuts that work for your body shape. I'Ve done how to figure out your face shape, what haircuts, what styles look good with that face shape, but I feel it's a lot easier to pinpoint like face shapes because there's like the seven kind of a shifts that everyone kind of falls into, I feel like Body shape, it's a lot more complex, so I think I've kind of just narrowed it down to like the five kind of basic things you maybe a combination of these. I do have a diagram. I swear. It looks like a band of girls in like purple jumpsuit, but I think that I've narrowed it down enough, where I can kind of just separate and clarify things a little bit more. So, just before we go into the video I do want to address something that was a big deal kind of in my last video, and that is my face. What happened to my face? Where does the old Sylvia go? What am i doing to my face job with the plastic surgery? All of that anyway, I do have to say I have not gotten any plastic surgery on my face. I promise you. I will never get plastic surgery on my face, so I've mentioned in the past that I do get Botox on my forehead. It is, I have hereditary straight across lines and I've been getting those for four years now. I believe I also have to say I did get my eyebrows threaded, which she completely arched my eyebrows way more than I have ever worn on YouTube and again, as far as the lips I've known my Botox lady, she is amazing. She is a complete and true artist and I trust her 100 % and she was one that said, you know what, when you are ready to just put literally like a dot on your bottom lip to kind of you know even it out like. Let me know you don't normally with fillers, you have to buy like an entire syringe and she was like you know. We will do literally, like five percent of that syringe - and I was you know I thought about for months. I was really like skeptical. I was kind of afraid I am NOT saying that she pushed me into it in any way. I was personally really curious and really wanted to try it, so I finally did honestly, I don't think in person it anything. I do think that on camera it does look a little bit more prominent than it does in real life. I don't feel like I've. Had it long enough to know if it's something that I want to keep up with so I'll see, but just now that death was going on, that was the longest explanation intro to this video, but - and I know that a lot of your concerns wasn't necessarily coming From a bad place, so yeah, let's get into video all right, so here are the five I guess basic body shape and the body shapes aren't just about like the actual body shape. It has a lot to do with how your head connects to your body being like your neck, the shape of your head in combination with the shape of your body and so forth. So body shapes I have here or is like the more voluptuous body, be short. Like petite body tall short neck and a smaller head and a smaller frame with a bigger head, which is kind of the opposite now I understand that your body shape, or your combination might not be on here for the most part, if it's not on here, it's Probably because you've fit a pretty average kind of look or silhouette and therefore you can do whatever you want. So, let's start with so let's start on the side. So for the more voluptuous side I'm going to keep balance. So if you have like a fuller kind of body, you also want to have that on your hair, so definitely creating volume. This way, and what's funny, is a lot of girls will say like oh, I need to lose weight or I've gained 50 pounds is in last year, so I want really long, like slim, thin, hair and that's actually the opposite, because then you're creating an illusion that Your hair is really sending you on is actually a lot bigger. So by creating a lots of volume, your hair and everything just looks very in proportion which ends up making. You look smaller now as far as the length. Another thing that girls, that think that they need to lose weight will a lot. Many times say they want really long hair. Due to the fact that you feel like you can almost cover up a little bit more but honestly, a shorter kind of cut kind of you know touching the shoulders is actually very flattering, and I want you only to imagine a profile version of that. Where is where the hair is kind of, you know thick and voluminous, and then it cuts off like at the shoulders again that's creating kind of that balance to the rest of the body, whereas the hair is longer and kind of going over the back. It'S actually just adding more volume. So if, if you're trying to make the body look or appear smaller, that is definitely my advice about shoulder length, hair voluminous on the sides. You can also add volume on top, because that will obviously make you look taller which will make you look slimmer, so you can do both, but definitely some volume on the sides. You can have like waves anything that kind of creates attention and brings the eye to the face. Now. Do you have to say a little disclaimer for this honestly? There is no wrong body type. There is nothing, but I'm going to say here that you know if you fit one of these, that you have a body that needs to be corrected. Honestly, if the advice I give you if you're doing the opposite, and you feel good about it, because, honestly, every time I've made this type of video, I always get the comment of well. I have that face shape and I don't have the haircut you recommended and I look great and honestly. If that is the case, then do it you know, maybe you are someone that likes to break the rules or maybe have a unique look or even if not maybe it just fits and works with you. That is totally okay, I'm just giving you a kind of aesthetic pleasing rules that have kind of been set that geometrically, I guess kind of just - makes everything look more balanced. Maybe don't want to look balanced and that's totally okay, so I just figured that by the title of this video, if you clicked on here, there's probably something you want to kind of soften up about your look or you want to kind of create more balance. So I do have to say that, because again, I'm not trying to say that any of these there's anything wrong with. That being said, it's gon na move on to the next one. So for the short to keep body types, I recommend definitely no very long hair. You will just look like you're kind of swimming in that long, hair, just imagine kind of like a little girl with extremely long hair. You know it almost looks like you know, you're playing dress-up or something now something. That'S too short we're kind of like above the shoulder that'll also create almost like a juvenile kind of look. You also don't want to if you're already petite, you want to look womanly, and you know grown-up, so a mid length is perfect. Some layering some visual interest. It definitely is good. Some volume at the top is definitely recommended because it'll create you know, length and height, and just really flattering on that body shape now for the next one is tall and again so here I drew a girl with a longer hair. I think that's a good balance because you aren't tall, so the eye already sees length when the hair is long as well. Again, it creates balance. It seems like that hair goes with that body type. Now, if you want to have shorter hair, something that touches the shoulders is great, because then the more gap you create there's a more life at the IOC's, because it seems like wow. You were just so tall that your hair does not reach your shoulder. So if the hair reaches the shoulder, it kind of just makes you not look as tall, but obviously, if you love being tall, you wouldn't look as tall as can be obviously ignore these rules. Another thing that looks great on women that are tall is bangs, so it actually makes your face, look a little bit rounder and so for someone, that's already tall and sometimes has like longer features that can be very flattering alright. So on to the next body, shape, which is a short neck with these smaller head and so for this one, what is suggested is a lot of volume on the site and then either short, where there is that length, as between you almost want to show that You had so elevated from the neck that there is that extra space there or long really long hair, also, because if you think about it, when the hair is pulled forward, you kind of don't see where the neck end or start. I mean you can't really see where the shoulder kind of answer starts. So you kind of just see more like this long line of the neck, so nothing to mid length for this one, either short where you have that space or they care this a little bit longer, all right so on to the next one, the small frame with A bigger head so for this body shape, we suggest a less volume and for this ox you can do whatever you mean. You can exaggerate that you have bigger features and you can add volume to your hair and that's totally fine, but for this one, if you want to keep that balance to not exaggerate anything, it would be with simple sleek, not a lot of volume on your hair. So that the head almost appears smaller and a little bit more in proportion to the body shape, so whatever shapes sizes and proportions you are, you are beautiful just the way you are. I always believe it's good to know the rules and then, if you want to break them, go ahead, but obviously that's what I'm here for I'm here to you know, teach you everything that I have learned and all these rules, that kind of wouldn't you know you See a model - or you know an actress or you know that looks so well put together and sometimes use what to know. What is that magic formula? What is it that they have like what? What am I missing? It'S just sometimes it's just nice to learn like what that is. I hope you really enjoy this video. I hope that you've learned something, at least if you did find this video helpful. Please give it a thumbs up. Also, please share this with anyone else that you feel would also benefit from learning anything from this. I thank you guys so much. I love you and I will see you in the next video bye.

joanna_k: I hate when such sweet individuals, that genuinely want to help others, have to apologise or explain themselves. People get offended by EVERYTHING nowadays...even if you breathe! Girl, you've given me great tips through your videos! Keep up the good work!

Kari Steffes: WHY would people get offended over this?! She's saying in general these look flattering on these body types. Girl tell me I wanna know! If you want to have another hairstyle then have it NO one gives a fuck

Doris McKellen: you do not have to explain yourself!!!! <3

Anne Scofield: Completely agree with the voluptuous type, which I am. I tried short hair, and my face just puffed out. It's now shoulder length and I'm trying to get more volume, and it complements my face pretty well. Sorry to hear you got slammed for your newer appearance. Women are catty. You look gorgeous as usual! I didn't even notice a difference. :)

gemsalmon: Never feel the need to explain your own face to anyone. You're a gorgeous girl naturally but, like the fact that you dye your hair to enhance your skin tone, any other 'modifications' should be made to make you happy and compliment your features. You're in the beauty business and are there to test out these 'products' good and bad. It's no different that someone trying out a skincare brand to tighten their skin etc. There's still a stigma around fillers etc but if you make sure to mould it to your face and features then I don't think it should be anyone else's business. Half the time it's jealousy that they can't get the same work done because of the cost. Me included! But I'm good jealous :-) xx

Marie Jesne: I'm short with a small head (the 4th one) and giving myself a chin length bob was the best hair decision I've ever made. I was worried I wouldn't feel womanly but it's the sexiest I've ever felt. it's so versatile too and I've been trying different colors for the first time because it's easy to cut the damage off and still have the amount of hair left that I want.

Hear and There: I am one of the voluptuous gals. I have shoulder length hair with volume, layers, and bangs that I swoop to the side. EVERY time I have this hair style, I get tons of compliments and I feel that my pictures look better. I agree with her! I've had longer hair and I looked like a tree stump. When I had longer hair, I used to put it up in a bun and always got compliments. So, I stick with shoulder length shag with lots of volume on top and side bangs.

Hannah Noel: You're legit beautiful. I honestly think people are just envious because not everyone can afford to fix their insecurities. You do you girl

Miranda Brugger: Totally agree 100% with the petite style. That's exactly how I love my hair. My hair grows so fast though so I usually let it grow out for a bit and then get it cut and it definitely looks much better when I get it cut to a mid length with lots of layers and angled in the front. I actually didn't even know it I just kind of tried a bunch of different lengths through out my life and have found that works best for me. So your right on with that one.

Forever Directioner: “Just imagine a little girl with very long hair “ Me - * thinks of Ariana Grande*

Rowyn Oak: I am so happy that you’re so down to earth. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to get through the video because you’d be rather basic. But you’re awesome. Thanks for that.

Janice Matton: I appreciate your candor and honesty. I can only imagine the negative feedback you recieve. I would like to say I felt you truly wish to help those who WANT help with thier look and style. Haters will always hate. Do not give any thought to those who may be negative. You have explained well your motivations. I appreciate your tutorials and always remember...Hurt people...Hurt people.

SmallbutSnarky Sloth: I've always wondered about the focus that's been put on hair for different face shapes but from what I can see in my opinion the body type makes even more difference. I have to say that even without the disclaimer about "correcting" body types I think your comments on this topic was very educational and nice Very well put and respectfully said! Thanks!

andrea paltin: I love how you explain the "science" of hair. All this time I thought I needed long hair in order not to seem bigger . You explained things very well

HereIAm247: I am personally grateful for your videos. I am looking to improve my appearance and be more happy with it, and you explain very well how I can do that, and why it works. Others who watch your videos are most likely looking to do the same. If people get offended, it is most likely not your fault.

Cherise: Great video! I’m a voluptuous body type and I think your suggestion makes sense. I’ve been wearing long straight hair and I have noticed it makes my body seem bigger and my head smaller lol. I appreciate that you have been very kind with your advice.

Amy Taint: Love ya, Silvia, love your original look, love it you explore variations. Also so glad you have thick skin to keep giving us your insights and sharing hair/beauty ideas and techniques even when some act like "haters." The majority L O V E your sweet soul, your perceptiveness and your style sense. And thanks for the ashy blonde tips, especially!!

Anna K: Thank you for your knowledgable advice! Disregard the bad comments, always. People don't know how much effort goes into making these videos and how much time you spent to learn all that you know. You do a great job! You go girl!!

Becca Rowe: Wow.. Thank you very much! This helped me a lot - I am in a position where I feel like I need to lose weight, and my hair is too long... I have been thinking about cutting my hair shorter for a little while and now I just feel more confident that I can do it due to my body shape/size☺ I am around 5ft.8 and curvy, I already have bangs and have done for about 3+ years, so now I am going to cut my hair shorter just because you have given me that little bit more confidence☺

Tammy S: I have been highlighting my naturally medium dark hair blonde with a cap for years. I recently discovered your video on easy DIY baylage at home and watched you twice all the way through. I did a great job my first try and I will not ever pull my hair through a cap again. I have since watched many of your videos & I must say that you do a great job explaining everything that you're doing and then demonstrating to show us. For the record, it never occurred to me if you do or do not use botox on your face. I think you are naturally a very pretty girl, I love your hair & please don't ever feel that you have to explain anything about yourself for fear of offending someone when you are taking the time, your time to help people like me to be able to do our hair like you do yours. Thank you and you're awesome!!!

Night Owl: I love you & your videos You go out of your way to be both respectful and educational, and some of these commenters are just not grasping at all the true heartfelt intention behind the video -- to educate! To provide a theoretical base and then say hey, if you don't agree with or like the theory, more power to you! Keep doing you, you are a sweet & beautiful soul, inside & out.

Ameera Hiro: Lesson learned don't ever look at the comments section. She's trying so hard not to be offensive and people get offended anyway.

Penelope Ashe: People's Pettiness really annoys me. Guys: -Her body, her desicion. If she wanted to get forehead Botox and a little bit of lip fillers it's her choice! She looks beautiful either way and it's her life. -She made this video to help people out! She isn't forcing anyone to do this! She's just giving us advice!

Anne North: I agree with your suggestions apart from one thing. I am tall and have always enjoyed wearing my hair long, with a fringe (Bangs) UNTIL I aged a bit, and found that when I became older , Long hair seemed to make me look even older than I was, I lightened my dark hair and had a softer, shorter cut, and for ME personally, I thought it took years off me. I think body and face shape play a huge part in the hairstyle you wear, but age also plays a part in my opinion. But very good informative video, just pointed this out as being young yourself you may not have had to think about this yet.

URHO: This video is very empowering!! I'm all about being confidently flawed. I appreciate you so much for your wisdom and skill! Thank you for this new perspective. I've always thought it's all about the face shape. I'm the last type.

Polabear: this was so helpful!! Thank you!! I am a short girl and somehow keep cutting my hair too short and then wonder why I look so small and childish, yep, it's the hair! It's true, the times I've had shoulder length hair I've looked so put together and womanly and proportionate. I guess its time to boycott cuts for a while and grow out my short bob! Thank you so much!

Megan Hodes: This is an amazing video, especially helpful because I am pretty clueless when it comes to hair. I've been debating cutting my hair short, and I'm afraid it will make me look younger (I am petite and have a younger looking face). I think I will definitely keep it mid-length though. Great video! I really enjoy these <3

Caitlyn Landry: The one thing I’d add is that short hair can definitely work and look good/proportionate/grown up on a petite frame (and I know, I know, the point is that these are guidelines and not written in stone). I’m very petite and look younger than I am and bob to shoulder length work best for me and look put together and professional without overwhelming me (definitely agree on the no super long hair, which I dislike anyway). Just my two cents, but good suggestions!

Anahn Nemus: Thank you for confirming what I always felt! I'm volupt (not a word but it is now) and I have always felt better about my hair the bigger it is because it really balances things out. It's just more flattering. Great video and subbed!!!

Trina Biscoe: Thank you so much for confirming the hairstyle for tall women. I'm 5'8 and I love long hair on me. I wear bangs as well. Even when I wear my wigs. Keep up the good work helping us women❤️

Maura Noonan: If you came out and stated that you are categorically against any form of fillers, etc.., then I could see having to defend yourself. But I don't recall you ever doing that, so why bother explaining yourself? I would ignore the nonsense. I have issues with liars and people who treat others badly, but doing something to make yourself feel better doesn't impact anyone's day. :)

Lisa Bell: I got a bad botox job that never went back to normal, and actually look older now because of it. Be careful! I won't do that again, but I don't judge it, because I love my fillers. I just stick with those. And I plan on getting a nose job because my nose is ginormous, and I don't care if people approve or not. No shame.

frazee1: yay!! i always get so excited for silvias vids on saturday!!! i loved this info it was so helpful! :)silvia i think you look beautiful you didnt have to explain anything about your face i dont care what you do you always look classy and so beautiful to me no matter what. ppl shouldnt get in your business so much lol.! and lol at the obvious nose scratch at the end! lol!!

Sophie Laurenti: Thank you for the video. I appreciate informative videos like this one. Guidance from a professional is very helpful. Your illustrations were easy to follow, but next time could you include sample photos of hair styles too? Sometimes I need images to help me understand better.

Kavita Man: This has answered all my questions ❤️❤️ thank you so much. I always thought shorter hairstyles were for skinny minis (I mean that in a nice way) and I couldn't have it but now I can YAY! I'm getting a cut n colour next week so a bob style it is ✂️❤️

Teresa Fontaine: You’re so Thorough but that shows the mastery of your work! I’ve been a fan for over two years and I’m so proud of your progress. You’re the most creative and most helpful and you have such a big heart. Keep up the good work!

Maria B. Mendez: Great! I am tall and my favorite hairstyle is long hair with bangs. Currently have medium length hair because I had to cut it. Can’t wait to have it longer again!!! Thanks for the great advice :)

Vino Veritas: This makes a lot of sense. I’m short and voluptuous and I’ve noticed a more full volume triangular bob looks best on me now. When I was a little thinner I had less volume on top and longer layers (I’ve got a large skull) and it was awesome. Thank you for this.

Kitty Roars: Planning to get my hair done next week and this just confirmed I'm going in the right direction, shorter but fuller. Thanks!

Rosalin: I love ALL of your vidoes!!! Girl, you are a working woman AND you do this as well, I admire your commitment. You are amazing! <3

Miriam B.: I'm nr 2 and the advice is 100% legit. All of what you've mentioned I have experienced and observed. I'm going to stick to shoulder length hair from now on with more volume on top. Thank you!

Bea: I am definitely a volumptious girl and have been told that long hair would make me look smaller. I have flat and thin hair and just cut it to my shoulders about a week ago after worrying about how it would suit my body for ages. I wish i could have seen this video earlier as it is incredibly helpful and truthful

char xoxo: Video starts at 2:40

LadySaundra: Thanks for the tips. I think it’s a good point about the taller one having bangs. I’m a curvy lady, and I’ve found that the thicker, shortish hair (especially around the shoulders) makes me look bigger. Longer hair, and sometimes less thick makes me look thinner.

Brooke Lindsay: I've just found your channel and I have literally binged watched like 12 videos already! Haha you have amazing hair tips, I love your channel I hope I can build my channel to something as beautiful as yours xx

L Coop: I love all your videos! So helpful! I was surprised that I had this right, tall with long hair and bangs! I hope I get the toner right on my brassy hair! Thank you and much love from Ohio!

BellaBreak: I was kind of confused when i got your videos recommended to me because i don't usually watch hair videos, however I have to say that after watching some I subscribed right away! Your videos are filmed beautifully and I love the detail and the explanations you give, because they are clear and make so much sense. I hope your channel keeps growing!

Diane M Gbur: You look great Sylvia! I believe I look less frumpy since my hair has been cut, plus the added movement if my hair boosts confidence! You look great, it's a shame people are so jealous

Chey Girl: First of all I want to thank you for taking the time to disseminate loads of helpful information to everyone out there seeking self improvement. This is information that you paid for (and not cheaply either), spent the time training, practicing and acquiring years of experience that now because of you anyone can have for FREE in less than thirty minutes! Your life is your own and Im sure you are very busy and charge a lot of money for what you know and your talents and skills. So let me say "Thank You!" - for caring enough to take the time to make these videos and give away for no cost what you know. I hope in return you have immense success because of it. Second, I wanted to address the surgery/botox/filler discussion. I have had all three so I am definitely of the do what makes YOU feel beautiful and confident camp. Remember, in life no matter what you do, there will always be someone out there who hates it. Consider, yourself lucky if its only some- ONE. HA! You will never please everyone. So make your choices based on what you want not what others want of you. They arent making decisions in their lives based on your opinion of them so why should you make choices based on the opinions of others?! Im 40 years old and one of my fav quotes for life is from Cartman on the South Park TV show, "I do what I want!" I suggest this mantra for everyone. I decided at 34 years old I would never make another decision in life based on the opinions of others because I have one life to live and im gonna live it. In the end when I look back on my life, I want to see my adventure not regrets due to the fear of judgement from others. That was a very long winded set up to say this... Girl! You are fucking Gorgeous! With makeup, without makeup, probably even with a booger in your nose. In fact, I bet theres weirdos out there who think youre so beautiful and smart and talented and sexy that theyd buy that booger for alot of money!! Youd probably have a bidding war on your hands over ElleBangs Boogers. LOL! Honestly, I havent read the comments that made you doubt yourself but I do hope they were from a sincere place but they just lacked the tact and vocabulary to express the following thoughts. There is nothing on your face that needs tampering with. You are perfectly blessed with outer beauty of every single feature perfectly balancing the others on your face. Maybe someday your lips will droop and deflate when gravity gets the better of them and you may want to "adjust" them back into place. But right now, enjoy the naturally beautiful face you have. You are one of the lucky ones. Love that about yourself. Your lips perfectly match everything else on your face. When you walk in a room do you want to be the total knockout, compete package of beauty and confidence sauntering into the room turning everyones head as they wonder to themselves, Whos That? Or do you want to be the girl that walks in and the eye is drawn first to "Sexy Lips!" then they notice the rest of you, "Oh and shes also beautiful"...its your life and your choice. Neither is wrong. Its whatever makes YOU feel AMAZING, GORGEOUS AND CONFIDENT. You go girl! Keep Trailblazing...or should I say "Elleblazing"?! You can have that one

Blush Muffin: LOL, you reminded me of my hairstylist. I'm short and petite, semi-wavy hair. I LOVE short hair. I stuck with a mid-length to long for the longest. I decided to go SHORTER, right at my jaw line, straight cut. My hair stylist said "You already look really young. If you go shorter, you're going to look like a little girl" (She said it with concern, like my mom or sister). I remember waiving her off saying "No, I won't." She offered, if I felt like I looked too young, that she would bring out some recommendations for styling. I agreed. Cut it off and felt like a child when it was wet. Felt regret. But when she blow dried it and did a little styling (she moved the parting line further one side), for the first time in my life, I looked my age and I LOVED my hair. But thank you very much for the videos. I want VERY short hair again, but have been hesitating again.

Carla Ciulla: Thank you for this! I'm searching for a new look and this was definitely helpful! I just subscribed!

Sadie Ainsworth: So glad I came across this video! I was having a hard time deciding if I wanted to cut my hair, since I’m a bigger girl. I was afraid if I did it would make me look bigger. Thank you!

Katarzyna Szymanska: This video was super helpful! thank you for making it & giving me more of an idea :)

Heather Estes: I think that's good advice. I'm a voluptuous 5'2" gal. I went from hip length happy to a voluminous bob this year, and it did make me look about 15 years younger and thinner. I wish I did it before.

Elizabeth Sprinz: My vote is you were perfect before the changes. Thank you for this advice. I have a short, wide neck and chin length is now my standard.

karen fox: I really like that you do explain things about the body styles and hair styles. As for your personal explanation... its nice to show what possibilities are out there. I have wondered about lip injections myself. So thanks :)

Ash N: Great video beautiful! Since I've gained weight I cut off my long hair to shoulder length and I definitely think I look more balanced.

Michelle Grogan: Girl...I Love this new look on you...It's a gorgeous look...Feel good about yourself and forget the haters.

Natalie Gallovich: Love the info! so helpful, and I really love your make up in this video! Idk if you remember exactly what you used since it's been so long ago, but would you happen to know what products you used on your eyes especially, and you cheeks? I love it!

t d: I love how she kept in that little clip of her scratching her nose! It was so adorable! Also, you do you ❤️

bknee: This is a very informative video, but I'm going to have to think about it, rewatch it and try to absorb it, because i don't fit ANY of those body types, but it's certainly not because I'm normal i have what my friends and i refer to as "shrunken head syndrome" meaning i must have angered someone in a past life. As a woman, I'm 6'3, plus-sized with a long neck and a head that is way too small for my body!! any advice on visual balance would be so appreciated!!

jade brown: Thank you for always making amazing videos & sharing your talent. You are so beautiful inside & out & whatever you do is not anyone's BIZ!! for everyone that wastes there energy hating on others & criticizing the way they look in there video instead of learning from the materials they clicked on in the 1st place!!You need to take a look @ why do u care!?! Why are you watching @ all.. I love you so much sweetie!! Keep sharing God bless you & your family

Kayce Victoria: Its so exciting that your passionate about hair! True artists! I try to explain to my husband why im so picky about who does my hair, its an art. Im grateful for your videos

Tracie Wardlaw: Your botox and brows are PERFECTION!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE the arch in your brows, your eyes are so pretty and it really opens them up. I noticed immediately...but in a good way...like maybe you had just returned from a very relaxing vacation. It's some of the best botox I've seen!!!! Your hair looks really GREAT also!! We enjoy watching all of your videos. They have taught my daughter and I so much about our hair, so thank you for taking the time to make them and help educate us. It was on your video that we learned about Olaplex and Olaplex literally saved my daughter's hair.......so again.....THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! Please keep the video"s coming!!!

Let's Not Panic: This video is a great starting point. I like that you emphasized that it's just that - a place to start your thinking process about how to wear your hair to maximize "what you've got." I always enjoy your videos and you look very lovely in this one. I like the lip! I might do this because as I've gotten older it seems my lips have thinned. Is that part of aging?

Sushi: i love your videos they are really useful! i am happy to know that as a tall girl i was right to sport bangs and try to lengthen my hair! *i have this problem tho* : i have curly hair (big curls) that gets heavy when it gains length and my face looks longer cause i lose all the volume, how should i approach the issue?

Janet A Reporting: Thank you! You have answered questions I've been wondering about for years! I truly enjoy your videos. I've been following you for years.

Lisa Wright: I'm short and glad to know that layering my hair is a good thing for me and the last time I had hair shorter than my shoulders it looked horrible also good to know that I don't need to do that again lol

Fernanda Figueroa: This video just helped me out so much, thanks for your advice!

Julia the Editor: Never feel like you ever have to explain your style choices. You're beautiful no matter what.

Caroline McGarry-Ross: You are lovely, and your face is your own. You do not owe anyone an explanation. Thanks for these videos, you do a great job & come across as very kind and sincere. Have an AWESOME day!

Felecia Denton: I love videos about what hair looks well with _____. It helps me suggest the best design decisions for my clients! Thanks always x

CJLeeTV: Its honestly none of our business girl!! You do whatever you need to do either way. New to your channel and I really appreciate all of your tips

Sam M: Can you please do a video on perms?? I have a fuller body shape and agree that having volume in my hair helps. That's why I love perms!

Val Smith: You look great! Who cares about eyebrows or lips?? It's all our individual choice. People are too critical about something that actually has nothing to do with them.

Kristen Marie: Ppl don't know how to take advice and get all offended. I appreciate this video. You didn't have to help ppl but you did. You're absolutely right about all of this. ❤

monica clasener: Nothing wrong with your face and it's yours to do with it what you want. You always look beautifull !!!

Moni: Sylvia would you do a video on hairstyle trends for 2017....I read everywhere that Lob is out and heavy bangs are in.Bangs are not something that I am wanting to do again as my forehead get too oily for them and I think straight across bangs accentuate my nose and that's the last thing I want. I've had a long hair for the last decade, only to cut it medium (longer bob) 3 yrs ago but every few weeks I get into the mood of chopping it all off to the collar bone and I spend way to much time thinking whether I should or not...and here I am again...;)

Kim Berlin: I am voluptuous with a big head loved this video. I have been looking for a new hair style but am so scared of making the wrong choice. Going to look at the face shape video next, thank you!

PROUDPATRIOT 45: I just NOW in DECEMBER 2017 ran across this video, you are SPOT ON! I am "voluminous" ;) and whenever i cut my hair at my shoulders as you stated....I get tons of compliments.

Di M: Thank you for the information. I recently took some length off and I saw an immediate improvement but could not explain why. Now I understand it was a proportion issue.

JP M: Stephanie I think it's great of her to do that. Young girls may think that Elle is crazy beautiful, and that they could never be as beautiful. So they are insecure. It's nice that Elle admits that she has artificially plumped her lips and that her natural brows are not naturally so chic. And it's great that Elle clearly knows how "voluptuous" girls think and that she wants to help them look their best while not shaming them. She's great!

Janine Connor: Well I'm the voluptuous one & I for one am glad she explained it that way, I'm certainly not going to get offended by how she said it lol I'm just surprised that I already have the exact cut that she has for the drawing, so I'm happy!

Andrea Villasin: You look great, as always. No need to explain your personal choices. Love your videos!

bmw8913: This video was pretty helpful. I'm a plus size girl with crazy type 3 curls and my hair is currently at my shoulders. After years of constantly bleaching my hair, my hair is just SNAPPING off. I know I have to get a DevaCurl cut but have had a hard time trying to decide which length would be best for my body type. I knew if I went jaw length, my double chin would totally be more noticeable and I'd have to contour it everyday. I think I'm gonna go for a Kelly Osborne inspired mohawk. I think the volume on top would distract from my double chin.

Luísa Souza: This actually helped me so much, thank you

Christina Nelson: You look gorgeous! Don't worry about what silly people think!! ❤️

Siham Lamtaifi: thanks for being professional and genuine in your videos. i appreciate your tips

Madhu Jana: u r great as u are n the videos you make are of great content. you rock! haters will hate. you go on to make what u have to girl! :*

Monitoocrazy: Love this thanks i was really scared to cut my hair but now I’m really decided!

Andrea Lopez: This video helped me out so much So thank u and for those saying or writing mean comments about ur face , let's just say iv been following u for a while now and u still look the same, except for the mini changes u had mentioned that u did on urself but over all u still look fantastic and the same❤Loving the browsbtw. U do what makes u happy xoxox..P.S what if I'm Tall and volumptous ??

Christina Maviki: Hater be haters your beautiful just do what makes you feel pretty. I honestly don't know why people feel the need to pass judgement on others. Women should boost each other up instead of tearing each other down. Try paying a compliment and watch how karma will pay them back. <3

Genevieve Emmerton: this has helped so much. I think you should do one on what hair colour suits wich eye colour xx

Meggsie: I'm so conflicted. I've had long hair for a long time, but I think that medium short hair would suit my face really well... the problem is that I'm also super busty and I feel like I need my hair to help cover up.

LOONBIT: I'm an endomorph (hourglass/pear shaped) and will always look bigger no matter what weight I'm at, and in my experience short hair just doesn't look good on me, it's not flattering and makes my body look very large. While long hair looks a lot more balanced with my proportions. Just imagine a small head with short flat hair on top of a big body, it doesn't look good

Fiala Noyes: I'm aware that I've still got time to get more preportioned, and that I have a heart shape face, and that my head isn't 'big' it just looks that way compared to my smaller body. But thanks for the advice.

Vera Matson: I definitely am going against the general rule. I'm short and petite but I have very short hair. I wish I lived in your town so you could advise and style my hair. I'd love to see what you would recommend for me. Love your videos!

SchoolofDog Vallier: I commend you for saying to the world you had botox! I wish I could! HA! You are beautiful either way! Haters are going to hate! Please never stop being you, and if things work for you, it helps us to see that its an option for us! Thank you for everything you do!

Mandy Hartjes: You are a great inspiration of being yourselve no one is perfect and girl don't listen to the hate about "plastic surgery" fillers. Fillers don't mean you hate yourselve you just want to make them feller more ballanced and there is nothing wrong with that You do you boo
