Hey guys, what's up and welcome back to my channel, so in today's video I am going to show you exactly how to grow your hair from short to long in only a very small amount of time. It was only about. I don't know 18 months ago that my hair was very very short. I was wearing extensions every single day to have my hair long and now my hair has completely grown out. It is so long, in fact, all the way down to my bomb and honestly, it was only a very few small little tricks that I implemented to get my hair to grow super super fast. So if you have been wanting to grow your hair for ages and you're, just not getting anywhere with it, then keep on watching before we jump into the tips. I'Ll. Just give you a quick history of my hair and where I've been with it and where I'm at so it all started back in about oh, I would have been in year ten, I think, and I volunteered to go in a hair show for my friend I Was told that she was going to only color my hair and not chop it all off and it all got chopped up. Basically, it was so short and at that point it was cut off and it was probably as long as it is now, but it was cut off to about this short. So first that happened and then, after that it grew out a little bit. But then I decided to go platinum blonde. Didn'T I? Yes, of course I did so you can imagine with hair as naturally dark as mine and then adding heaps and heaps of bleach to it and I'm not even kidding. I was white blonde. It killed my hair. My hair was snapping off in all sorts of places up here. It was like literally this sure and nearly had like this little buzz cut at the top, and I was still having to wear hair extensions. You know to sort of make myself feel normal again gets worse after that, because my hair obviously was dying and was not growing because of the bleach. I then decided to get permanent hair extensions, and what do you think happened when the Kier got permanent hair extensions? Yeah bald spots everywhere, like everywhere I completely trashed my hair. So of course, me being me, I was like you know what this is not going to defeat me. I will win this battle and I research, like you, couldn't believe and found heaps of little ways and tested his little ways to get my hair to grow, and I've got all of those tips in this video for you now. So my number one tip aside from looking after your body really well - and you know, eating well and drinking lots of water - is pregnancy vitamins and I can still remember the look on Brandon's face when he came home all those years ago and he caught me out With the pregnancy vitamins and he was like girl, this is something you're not telling me like. What'S going on with this picture here, and I was like no, no I'm not trying to get pregnant. I promise I'm taking these vitamins to grow my hair, so pregnancy vitamins are packed full of biotin and folate, and vitamin B's all sorts of things that grow a baby but also grow your hair. I found that when I was taking pregnancy vitamins regularly. Oh my gosh, my hair was like sprouting. I thought it was going to grow down my face, like literally it grew so fast, so yeah pregnancy vitamins get on them. Girls, they're really good for your nails too. Your nails will grow so fast when you're taking them, but yes, pregnancy, vitamins will change our life tip. Number two is peppermint oil again, I know you're, probably thinking girl like what but promise you wash your hair, how you normally would jump out of the shower. Go straight to the bathroom mirror get a little bottle of peppermint oil. They look like this. You can buy them from pretty much any natural health store, they're, basically an essential oil, and it has to be straight-up pure peppermint oil. Take a few drops of peppermint oil. Rub it into like your fingertips and then rub it into your scalp, the peppermint oil actually stimulates the hair follicles on your scalp and when the hair follicles are stimulated, you know it increases blood flow to those areas and, of course, when the blood flow comes, the Nutrients come and then the growth happens, so peppermint oil, oh my gosh, and let me tell you, there's nothing better in life than your hair smelling like peppermint. It is amazing, it is so refreshing and you know how you don't wash your hair for a few days in a bit like. Oh, I feel like my hair is a bit stinky doesn't happen when you use peppermint oil. It'S like fresh all the time so yeah peppermint oil, incredible it will make your hair grow so much faster. The tip is to wear a beanie at night when you are sleeping. I know again weird, I know weird, but for some reason, and I think that it's got to do with increasing blood flow and circulation to the hair follicles as well, because it's in life sort of like a little hotbox on your head. For some reason, when you wear a beanie to bed at night, your hair grows so much faster than when you don't wear a beanie doesn't have to be a fancy being he can be the grossest man kiss beanie ever honestly doesn't matter, it will work and then Go to sleep and take it off in the morning, and I promise you after a few weeks, you will notice a huge difference. The other fantastic thing about this, too, is, if you wrap it up properly. You know sort of you get at the back of your hair, wrap it up like this and then tuck it all under the beanie. When you wake up in the morning, your hair's fine, like it, is not as messy, and I am the kind of girl that will wake up in the morning. Looking like cousin it. My hair is mental when I wake up in the morning, but when I wear a beanie to bed, I could tell my hair the night before wake up in the morning and it's still beautiful and curled and at save time, which means you get to sleep in Longer tip number four is to use an anti dandruff, shampoo and conditioner. I know again that sounds really weird, but anti dandruff shampoos and conditioners have got lots of vitamins in them that actually moisturize and nourish the hair follicle as well. So, while these products are taking care of the skin on your scalp to stop it from flaking and cracking and getting dry and itchy, it is also providing lots of nutrients and nourishment to your hair follicle, which in turn again helps your hair to grow faster. I saw where by head and shoulders, I've been using head and shoulders ever since I was about 12 years old, and also recently, I have been using the smooth and silky range. This one is great because you know it clinically treats your scalp, but at the same time it makes my hair so soft and shiny, like it, is insane how soft and shiny that my hair is. When I use this, I feel like anti dandruff shampoos and conditioners. Have a little bit of a stigma around them. I feel like a lot of people. Think. Oh, you know that it's going to dry, my hair out. It'S gon na strip, my hair color. You know my hair's gon na look dull when I use it not at all. This stuff is incredible. I couldn't recommend it any more. It is amazing, like I said, I use the smooth and silky version of this. I have also used the straight-up regular version. I'Ve used the Apple and they've got an apple range, which is really smells really really good as well, and it works double well for me, because I do actually have dandruff not all year round, predominantly only in summertime. I think that where my hair on my scalp is exposed to the Sun, it sort of drives and gets like quite flaky, so for me head and shoulders like it helps my hair grow added up, helps with my dad somehow this paired with all of the other Tricks in this video, like oh, my gosh, my hair grow so fast. When I use this stuff, it is in sane and then my final tip tip number five is coconut oil. Now I know I talked about coconut oil all the time, because I pretty much use it for everything, but coconut oil masks on your hair will change your life. They would change your life, so I pretty much scoop it out of the jar and it like me. You know how coconut oil is quite solid. I will skip it out. I will warm it up in my hands until it gets warm. Typically, I like to do this, so I will wash my hair first and I won't put conditioner in and then, while my hairs still wet and while it's still warm, I will massage the coconut oil all the way from sort of like the mid-lengths. All the way into the tips of my hair, massage it all in and then I wrap my head in glad wrap again. I look completely crazy when I do this wrap my head in glad wrap and I leave it for as long as I possibly can. It works better if you can leave it on overnight, so coconut oil in wrapping blood, wrap and then put your beanie on. Oh, my goodness, girl. I kid you not you all! Wake up with a whole new head of hair it'll grow so fast. Just make sure that you're, using like the straight up organic stuff that doesn't have any yuckies added into it, so lather yourself in it, I put it on my skin. I shave my legs with it. I use it to move. My makeup, like I do everything with coconut oil, coconut oil in me, like we've, got some kind of relationship going on. I'M telling you, but yet coconut oil as a hair mask. Oh my gosh, and I promise you will you will never look back. You will never look back so that is it for my tips and tricks for growing your hair super long in only a short amount of time. I hope that this video really helped some of you guys out. As I explained earlier, I know the struggle and I know the pain I've been there and fortunately, in this instance I've already tested everything on the market for you guys so that you don't have to waste your money on it. So yeah promise, if you implement all of these tricks, maybe give it a month. Come back and let me know a bit to your heads green heaps, like I would put money on it, that your hair will have green heat and also, if you've got any questions that you want to ask me pop them. In the comment section, I would love to hear from you guys. I hope you enjoyed the video. I love you all so so much and I will catch you guys in my next video bye, hey guys, welcome back to my channel. So in today's video we are going to be talking about how to keep the makeup on your nose in place all day long. It can sometimes be a real struggle to stop your makeup from sliding and rubbing off noise throughout the day, and I know I've been the girl I've looked at in

Margaret Manzo: I'm actually watching this video with my hair saturated in coconut oil, wrapped in plastic, with a towel wrapped around my head. I do this once a week. I have the best head of hair that grows almost an inch a month....and I've done the prenatal vitamins on and off for years.....another video where you read my mind. You just absolutely ROCK!

Thalia Jarzagaray: I grew my hair from short to long in 10 months but I was really dedicated to it. And it took 15 months to get my hair past my butt which is fast. I completely stopped putting heat on my hair. Washed my hair every 10-14 days so that I don't strip my natural oils too much (my hair got used to it and stayed normal/not greasy). I also stopped using conditioner after finding out it unnecessarily strips natural oils. I put coconut oil every day on my ends, just a bit. I drink biotin as well as multi vitamins. I do the inversion method 7 days a month. I go to bed with my hair in a braid or loose bun. I also deep treat my hair with coconut oil or castor oil 2 times a month. I know it's a lot but it really works!

BeautybyLiv26: These are amazing tips Nikkia, half of the ones you talked about I've never really thought of or heard from anyone else so I'm so excited to try them out. Thank you so much xxx

Meagz in Mummyland: Hi Nikkia, LOVE LOVE LOVE your videos! :) Quick Quest: How often did you get your hair trimmed during that hair growing time? Or did you not get any trims? I get tiny trims every few months but my hair is still refusing to grow! :)

Beauty&LifestyleCounselor: I love your personality because is so vibrant, positive, and happy. Great videos and tips.

Rebecca Christian: Just tried the peppermint and coconut oil for the first time overnight and my hair is soooo shiny and soft and not at all greasy. My hair is past my shoulders but seems to be falling out a lot when washing and drying. It looks a lot thicker this morning. Hopefully with continued use it'll continue to improve. Thanks Nikkia!

Martha Mayorga: Absolutely love your channel!! Thank you for all the tips to grow hair faster can't wait to try them How often do you use peppermint oil and the coconut oil? Also how often were you washing your hair?

Hayley Davies: Love this just what I need! I'm losing my lovely thick hair due to stress after my grandad passed away a few weeks ago I will definitely be trying these out! Thank u ❤️ x

Iris Gonzalez: You always have the best tips....I'm chopping my hair off in a few weeks so if I miss my long hair I will definitely try these out

Finy _: The tipp with the beanie works so good! i am actually doing it for over a year now (with a thin scarf instead of a beanie because i feel like my hair can "breath" better that way) and i noticed that i dont have that much hair loss or split ends! And a nice side effect is that my curly hair gets pretty well straightened like that!

Hadley From the Chick Inn: Totally going to be trying these tips! Thank you Nikkia!

Theodora Styles: Amazing tips, thank you so much for this! I definitely want to try the peppermint oil but my question is: doesn't your hair get greasy if you massage it into your scalp after washing your hair? I only use coconut oil as a mask on the ends of my hair and I know how greasy it can get :D

Amanda Marie: I know this is an old video and I'm sorry but I just watched it today!! I just wanted to say that coconut oil dries my hair out like crazy...but I am unabashedly obsessed with it and use it for everything also! If you know you're protein sensitive, like me, try mixing the coconut oil with another oil (I love pumpkin seed oil for this). These are great tips Nikkia, I just wanted to offer one of mine ;-)

marseelee: great video! Any tips for making your hair thicker? My hair used to be so thick but I'm starting to lose hair so easily now and I don't know what to do!

Julia's B Beauty: great tips! When I was pregnant I've noticed that my hair grows faster as well as my nails but I never thought it was because vitamins I was taking during that time. Now that you said it really make sens!

katherine hughes: Head & Shoulders seriously works! I also found that making sure you get "no break" hair ties, and not using heat treatments/washing every day is helpful

Sugey Ostergaard: Thank you so much! I had an experience pretty similar to yours I can't wait to try all these tricks and hopefully my hair will grow as beautiful as yours

Amanda Wilb88: I love head and shoulders! I've used the smooth and silky version, the green apple, etc since I was around 10 years old. I need it though for dandruff, but I still love it even if I didn't have dandruff!

Sara S: Have you used head and shoulders with colour treated hair? Love your videos! Nikkia knows all

Alix Maddocks: I color my hair pretty regularly, so I wonder if the coconut oil would strip some of the color out?? I've also hear putting the pregnancy pills all crushed up in your conditioner works pretty well too. Thanks for testing everything out for us,super appreciate this video!!!

soL_21_: I needed this video! I'm getting married next year & I'm dying for it to grow. Thank you!!!

DonnaLynn Saunders: I'm gonna try some of these. I just shaved my head for my mom (she's got cancer and is super self conscious about losing her hair) but of course, I want my long hair back lol I bought hair skin and nail vitamins and I take double the recommended amount, but I'm considering picking up some prenatals again. Thank you!

Shaaylaa: Which pregnancy vitamins/ brand of vitamins did you use? So I can purchase the correct one from my local priceline/ Cheminist Warehouse sore :) Thankyou xx

Thu: I'm gonna give this a try! Thanks for the tips

Rossy Cuentas: Your amazing! Girl you slaying with the videos. What pregnancy vitamins do you recommend?

Diana: no joke, I plan to use all these tips. Thank you Nikkia

Classykisses: Love your tips! They work!!!!!

Michelle Carreiro: How often do you use these products in your hair? I can't wait to get started thank you.

Autumn Quezada: For people asking about prenatal vitamins and which ones to use, I suggest using plant based prenatal vitamins such as Rainbow Lite. Take ones that say you can take them on an empty stomach. Prenatal vitamins may make you nauseous and constipated because they have a lot of iron in them. Plant based prenatals will not do this to most women. You're suppose to take them if you plan on having kids or are currently pregnant so it will not hurt you if you're not pregnant. They basically have essential nutrients for your body to be healthy. We don't normally get all our vitamins from food anymore. They become a problem when paired with other vitamins so when you take them DO NOT take a multivitamin. It'll be a vitamin overload and you'll get sick. Just some tips from a pregnant woman.

Lorena V: Have you heard of the inversion method? It works amazingly... super weird but it's about hanging your head upside down massaging oil into your scalp for 4 mins one week out of a month. I hang off the edge of my bed ... so many different versions but this worked so amazingly for me. My hair is also super thick now!!

Alanna St. Peters: Hey Nikkia! So about a month and a half ago I had to chop a foot off of my hair length because of the damage I had done to it through dying and heat-styling. I'm currently taking a "hair, skin, and nails" supplement and I've seen minimal change. Would pregnancy vitamins make much of a difference? I'm going to start working out more often and drinking more water; I hope that helps. I'm currently using a Head & Shoulders 2n1 product, but would you recommend that I use shampoo and conditioner separately? I still blow dry and style my hair, should I stop doing that? I know it stunts growth for some people, but I have no idea how much it affects me. I'm planning on buying and using both peppermint and coconut oil. My hair has a tendency to grow very slowly, so I hope that I will see a noticeable difference in the time it takes for my hair to grow! Thank you for this video!

Katie Smith: Thank you so much for another informative video. Happy Birthday x

Turbolotl: OMG I've been looking for SO LONG for someone using and loving h&s!! I've tried soo many different products but h&s have Always worked best for me! So happy to find someone who has the same experience Great video!

It's Just Me, Sallie: I was having a S l o w grow-back time with my hair after chemo and started using Paul Mitchell Tea Tree shampoo and it grew really fast. I think it's the same concept as the peppermint of - stimulates the hair follicle.

Face 2 Face with Bec: Challenge accepted. I just can't grow my hair. I can only get it just past my shoulders then nothing. I'm going to give some of these tips a go. Thanks Nikkia.

BodyByDesign: Great advice , thanks

Deborah Stevens: Hello Nikkia, Thanks for these tips! I will definately use the Head & Shoulders shampoo & conditioner as I have a dry scalp and I was toldthat anti dandruff products strip your colour. Well I'd rather take advice from you so I'm buying these today! Love your tutorials and I also call my nose my shnoz! Don't you love the aussie humour? Especially as we are the only ones that get it!!! XX Deborah from OZ

Nubla Hamza: i guess everything comes down to a matter of what works best for each one us individually, for me anti dandruff dries out my hair so much and we have like summer heat all year except for monsoon season. it also breaks off my hair easily, i use like shea butter incorporated shampoo and conditioner and use vitamin E mixed with olive or almond oil to massage into the hair.

Jennifer Newton: Girl I Love Your Personality !!!

Kat: It's so nice to hear hair growth tips from someone whose actually been there with having crazy short haircuts and choppy pieces. I was doing a photoshoot for the hair company i work with and was told my hair was gonna be cut like basically how it is in my profile picture rn (since it's an old picture) and my hair had grown out from that haircut and is was long(ish), healthy, soft, bouncy and just so amazing. I could style it in a bunch of different ways and i loved it but was a little bored with it so i didn't mind it getting cut. WELL it was nothing like my profile picture. I had pieces that were an inch long that stuck straight up, heavy, heavy shelves of hair (because my hair is thick so if you don't cut it/ texturize it right, esp with shorter cuts, it'll create a "shelf") all around the top of my hair, my right side had this huge, heavy shelf and was cut super short and totally carved out around the ear (like how you would a pixie) and I looked like Joe Dirt like just random pieces cut super short. So I ended up getting the length taken up a bit so it wasn't mullety but since my layers were so jacked up the little bob i got just didn't look right and there was still the side that was abnormally short, which we ended up just doing a sidecut and shaving it cause there was just nothing we could really do cause if we left it to grow it would create this giant hole in my haircut and to get it to grow evenly we just had to shave the side. But growing this out has been a pain, now my hair is to my collarbone but i still have funky layers and the right side of what was used to be shaved is now at the bottom of my ear and i can't flip my hair over to cover it up since my layers are so short and fucked up. But thank you for these tips, I haven't heard of a lot of them! Hopefully in a few months it'll grow out enough I can turn the shaved off part into some face framing and get the layers blended but it still needs to grow a few more inches.

Jen Jen: Well done thank you for the tips. I think I'm going to try this out I die ask you on Snapchat too. Can you please make an Estee Lauder vs. Smashbox 15 Hours foundation Video or an Mac vs urban Decay. That Will Be Amazing

Dean Langley: You need to dilute peppermint oil, it's too strong to apply without a carrier oil or diluted with water. <3

Christina Salman: thank you for having a few different tips than other youtubers! thank you

Alice Kingsley: Classic length is my goal length. I do wear beanies but I often wear a satin bonent or silk scarf underneath to avoid hat hair and so that my ends don't get caught in the wind, sun, elements, etc. and also so that the fabric of the beanie doesn't suck the moisture. My parents were surprised that I grew from shoulder length to mid back length hair within a year and a half. It's at mid-waist now about 1.5-2 inches to my belly button. Almost to my hips by 4 inches. I'm totally prepared for next summer or for traveling someplace where it's always summer like Florida. I'd wear a satin bonnet, 16-in-1 bandana over top with the ends tucked to make it look like I'm wearing a turban, then wear any wide brimmed hat. Then at night, I wrap my locks using a silk scarf (mainly 32 inches [81.28 cm] or longer). I find ideas on Pinterest.

Kt Doh: I just LOVE you- your advice is great!

Gina M: these are all tips ive never heard of, ill be using all of these tips! xoxo thankyaa ps;currently wearing a beanie to bed

Jenna Coker: Thanks for tips!! Happy Birthday!! I hope you had a fabulous day!!! :D

kmmayer: This was actually helpful because it wasn't one of those videos from someone who has already had healthy long hair for their whole life.

F1ZZG1G _: Also tea tree shampoo is amazing to use too!!

Heather Callaghan: How often would you recommend using the peppermint oil and the coconut oil? Xx

Vicki Strong: Hi Nikkia. What are you wearing on your nails? Love the colour and love this video. Will definitely try your tips

Kayla Robb: can't wait to try these tips!!

Tasha JB: thanks for the tips... already getting ready to try them right now

Sassy.daisy: Thanks for the great tips, trying to grow out a pixie!! #soslow

Doreen Travis: I started using Head And Shoulders about a year ago and my sister just asked me last week what I was using cause my hair looked so good! Now I can tell her that you also use it and recommend it! I also get the summer time flakes but this year I didn't!!

Eya Hedhli: Thank you it's very informative ❤

Tracie O'Grady: Makes sense cause you are preparing scalp for vitamins to release & coconut oil can absorb well on clarification of scalp and hair! Have to be careful that glad wrap doesn't come lose & fall down

Andrea_Petroski: What pregnancy vitamins do you use ??

koalah: Ahhh currently having my hair recover from over bleaching my hair...myself I bleached it TWICE within a week with 30 vol developer and left it on my head too long, and next to that toned it numerous times. I did this back in June and never again. If I decide to go light again it's being professionally done. I fried my hair and currently it's ruined. It fried off in so many places so I have uneven lengths in many places and after so many conditioning treatments, from about midway to my tips nothing works, it's completely fried. Beginning of September I decided to just go back to Brown so I don't have to keep maintaining the blonde and ruining my hair more. My straightener also just recently broke which I think is a sign that I should probably stop using heat on my hair for a while lol. I cut my hair myself too and currently it's about 3 inches past my shoulders - just above my chest area. When I stop using heat on my hair my hair grows stupid fast - seriously. My hairs grown from the same length it is now to past my boobs within 6-8 months and when it's that length I use heat on it maybe once a week. So when my hairs longer it's healthiest - I just need to stop cutting and damaging it.

fatima parvez: this was one of the most convincing 'how to grow ur hair' video...thanks a tonne beautiful!!!

Ashley Vetta: Okay so I've purchased the coconut oil and the peppermint oil to start with (not quite ready to try the pregnancy vitamins just yet lol) so my question is: how often do you use the coconut oil and peppermint oil in your hair for it to work. I've used the coconut oil once a week so far and haven't used the peppermint oil yet because i dont want to overdo it. Should I be using them once a week? every other week? daily? let me know :)

misskatiepatricia: Do you recommend vitamins for if you are trying to get pregnant or if you already ARE pregnant? Thanks heaps! Xx

Jellisquared Ellis: I've put on the Peppermint Essential oil like you mentioned and my scalp feels cold and slightly tingling. Hope this is a good thing :]

Sharon Shreeves: Love your video but my only comment is that I've also heard a tip for stripping out colour in your hair if for example the hairdresser has gone too dark is to use head and shoulders Do you find that to be true?

Gina Bullard: I want to grow mine out ---LOL!!! I know I'm going to suffer! However a trick that I try is to only "wash" is with conditioner. Yes I said wash it --- with conditioner. It will work, my stylist told me about it. I use a really good conditioner "Therapy".. brand and only wash (and I really scrap) with conditioner. I do sometimes use a shampoo when I've a lot of product in my hair but I substitute conditioner on other days and it totally works. It has helped me change the condition of my hair!!! I'm going to grow mine out -- I'm dying to. I'll let you guys know - and thanks for that tips!!!

casandra cabral-castro: What is your hair type? I have oily hair and idk if these tips will make my hair oilier throughout the day

Freja Nox Hrimfaxe: So you're not supposed to apply the coconut oil on your scalp (if you're looking to grow your hair longer, faster)? I assumed that's what people do since that's where the hair grows out and therefore the oil would affect the hair growth more as opposed to just applying it on your hair. x

Courtney Lynn: If my parents found pregnancy vitamins in my room
