So I have already covered half of my head off-camera for the sake of the video, and on top of that I have sped it up because honestly, applying henna to your hair is nothing scientific. This very self-explanatory you're, going to apply just like you, would hair dye make sure that all strands from root to tip is covered open it up because there's going to be parts, that's missing and it's going to need coverage as well, and that's what I'm doing as You can see in the video um since I do have long hair. I use the whole container of henna. So there's absolutely none left, but if you have shorter hair you can probably do half of it and have to application in one lucky you. So there are so many great benefits to applying henna and your hair. One of them is covering up your grades, which is not something that I do it for. I'Ve had gray hairs since I was a young teen is just something that runs in my mother's side of the family, and I have accepted that a long time ago. So, there's a dying hair, naturally maintaining the health of your hair minimizing shedding hair growth, and for some of you, guys that are into wanting to loosen up your curl pattern. I'Ve heard that it does that, but it does so over time with consistent use of henna, which is why I am going to make sure that I use it every three to four months or so I'm not going to do it as consistent, because I don't desire To loosen my curl pattern at all, I'm very happy with what happened now and I don't want any looser curls. One thing that you will notice immediately after your henna application is the shedding the shedding literally minimizes by a whole lot like I had a little bit of hair like come out, and I was like very excited about that. It makes your hair feel very, very strong. Not weak at all, it's just like. It feels really really strong the method that I do. I do it because henna is very, very drying, so please make sure that she deep condition with a nice moisturizing deep conditioner after you rinse out your henna and that's another reason why. I also add a few pumps of conditioner because it's extremely extremely drawing to the hair. So just keep that in mind. I love it and you can see like the streaks. So if you have um dark brown hair, like myself or jet black, you are now going to get a good dye from henna you're just going to die. Where let's say you have gray hairs like myself, you see that I get it in red. I'Ve also heard about black henna, and that isn't something that I will recommend. Please do your research before you try anything new or apply anything to your hair or try to add something into your regimen. So black henna is definitely no notes. I have only used red Hanna. This is my second no. This is actually my third time using henna this year and I absolutely love it. I love it and I'm definitely going to continue usage, and I thank you all for watching and until next time. I hope this video was very helpful to someone out there.

Mrs. Mrd2knyn: I have been using natural henna hair treatments for two years every other week (I alternate with clay washes). The henna has not loosen my curl pattern at all. I still have really curly hair that shrinks up when dry. I use henna to strengthen my hair and have not experienced any color change. I do add things to my henna depending on if I do a mask or a gloss. For a henna mask (only do this every six months) I usually add coconut milk, aloe Vera juice, lemon juice, cayenne pepper, sometimes liquid coffee, and my favorite essential oils. For a henna gloss which is what I usually do every other week, I add aloe Vera juice, an avocado, Greek yogurt, coconut milk, cayenne pepper (not all together but whenever I have it available), honey, and my favorite essential oils. Love Henna treatments too ❤️
plutonicresilience: A great way to reduce the dryness henna may cause is to mix your henna with coconut milk (unsweetened of course). I mix one 14 oz can of coconut milk with 100-120g of henna, if that is not wet enough for you, add water from there until you reach the consistency you prefer. Henna can be drying (depending on source or your hair’s condition). Also, I apply henna on dirty hair (I usually do it on a day atleast 7 days from the last thorough wash). I leave henna on anywhere between 4-8 hrs then rinse with a cheapie conditioner (currently, tresemme naturals). Using these methods my hair isn’t dry after henna application at all.
Create Your Best Version: I use red henna and indigo after the henna treatment. It works great for my almost waist line hair--I am about an inch away from wlh. Great video!
gemelo330: Two suggestions: I would get the jamila henna from hennasooq.com. The rainbow brand is not very high quality henna. But the Jamila is great, and washes out easily. Secondly, if you don't want to change your texture, then mix henna with amla, Even if you only use it every three or four months, your texture will change by the third use. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

Faith: you should get 100% henna and mix it yourself with water and organic virgin coconut oil unrefined cover and let it sit for 2 to 3 hours after mixing and apply on hair and use a plastic bag leave it on for 3 to 4 hours it's amazing
