A few suggestions- make sure your parts going back are about the same width as your pony tail will be. If your hair is in layers (like mine) your shorter hair may stick out so make your parts going back bigger (if that make sense) so your ponytail will be more uniform. Finally it may take a few times to get it but this works best on blow out hair or freshly flat ironed hair. I wouldn't try it in my naturally kinky hair...can we say boss level of frustration??
