Easy Hairstyles For Really Long Hair // How To Braid // Messy Bun For Long Hair // Minimal Hairstyle

Hi guys, my name is Jessica and welcome to today's video. I make videos all about motherhood and minimalism and lifestyle, and in today's video we are going to talk about different, simple hairstyles, for long hair, okay and for people who want simple hairstyles. If you're looking for some really fancy looking hair, you know this is not the video go ahead and go ahead and go yeah. This is for simple hairstyles, okay and I'll say simple, because I am personally a mom. I don't have time to do all crazy kind of fancy. Hairstyles. Usually my hair is in a in a bun. I have recently started doing more different hairstyles and yes, my hair is blue. I did diet. Can you see it maybe a little bit yeah there? We go, I want it blue hair, so my hair is blue yeah. So first let me go ahead and show you how long my hair is, and I did recently trim it believe it or not. So yes, this is what we are going to work with today. So let's go ahead and show you the hairstyles, so first we are going to do a simple side. Braid right, you want to go ahead and brush out your hair and just gather all the hair to one side. This is where I'm going to teach you how to do a braid. If you do not know how to do a braid dude. I just use two fingers and split it into three parts as equal as I can there. We go there's three alright and then you start your braid. You take one side of the hair and put it in the middle and then do it again from the other side and put it in the middle. So this side flip it in the middle and then we go to this side and twist it in the middle. Maybe just keep doing that when I get closer put it aside in the middle and then this side in the middle and just you come so. This is what happens whenever you don't have equal parts, like obviously, there's not like a lot of hair left to do that, but there's still like tons of hair right here, which is totally okay, but that means you just have to put in your ponytail right now. I'M just going to use a rubber band, put it right there, you can't always pull it apart to make it a little bit more Messier and then pull your baby hairs out to finish the look until the next hairstyle we're going to do the same braid, but We'Re just gon na do two pigtail braids. I think so, for this look we'll take two split it in two equal parts: okay, as best as you can now, if you want to get really specific, you can always use a. What I use is like a chopstick and try to part my hair in the back evenly all right and then you'll just braid the two pieces like what we did and you can always loosen it. If you want to, I kind of like my two braids to be kind of tight, but I do pull some of the baby hairs out to finish the look all right, so this hairstyle is just gon na, be your super simple messy bun, but I want to Show you guys how I do my messy bun, because I have really long hair. I do it a little bit differently from everybody else, because most people don't have long hair so yeah. So this is a super simple messy bun, mostly for us long, hair people. So with this, you want to go ahead and just flip your hair over and start putting it in a pony tail. You can use your comb to straight out any lumps that are in your hair, so, instead of pulling their hair all the way through we're, going shoot like that and take the rest of the hair and wrap it around all right and then grab all the other Hair and just kind of push it around evenly. It'S like that. Take another point to Hodor we're gon na put it around this little button, hmm just like that. We are not done yet, but we're gon na kind of take some of this hair out now we are going to take some bobby pants, actually a lot of bobby pins and all the hair that is sticking up like that and then pin it down and we're Just gon na do that all over and then you can always just take these little pieces and pin them down as well with the bobby pins, all right and then, of course, to finish off the look. We'Re gon na pull some baby hairs down, and this is your super easy messy bun. Look for all my long hair people out there, so this is just going to be your half hair bun have no idea what it's called, but here we go alright. So with this, you want to kind of go where the peak of your eyebrows are and pull half of your hair up about tours, where your crown is back here, all right and now you're just going to make your typical messy bun. I still might use this elastic right here, pull my hair through twist twist and then with the last pool, I'm not going to pull that all the way, I'm just gon na pull it some all right. Just like that, and then for the rest, I'm going to wrap it around all right. Then you have this piece. We are going to spread it around. Alright, then we'll take a little plastic and put it on top of it. Now, let's get some bobby pins and we are going to just take some like the little pieces like this and pull it in and just bobby, pin that down, and you can also pull to make it look a little Messier, pull it and put the bobby pin All right and then we can just pull some of the baby hairs that we have kind of out and there you go. I love this look because it's super simple. It'S just a little messy bun on top of your head. I think it's really cute too, and it's a great hairstyle to just get the hair out of your face, but also show the beautiful length of your long hair as well. Alright, so sticking with the Bond theme, we are going to make a fun that is braided. It is super simple you'll, just put your hair up in a ponytail and then braid the ponytail and wrap it around all right. So now that we have a braid, we are now on start wrapping it around and as we are wrapping it around our hair, we are going to put bobby pins in okay because we have lots of hair and we need to put a lots of bobby pins In it and then the last little bit we'll just kind of tuck it under the bond, and now we are going to go ham on these body beds, all right in there you go after you put a ton of bobby pins in your hair. Your bun should be secure all right, so the next hairstyle is going to be a ponytail, but with a little braid wrap around it. So of course, you start off with just putting your hair in a ponytail all right. We go ahead and get some of these little babies here and pull it out. There'S your ponytail and now we're just gon na address that with a little braids so we'll take if you got part of the hair and then we're going to braid this piece. Yes, I'm crazy baby hair is gone now, we're just going to wrap it around and, of course, use a lot a lot, a lot of bobby pins, all right, and so after we have it all wrapped up. We are going to secure it with again a lot of ovens all right and there you have it your cute ponytail, with a little braid wrapped around it.
