Hi you guys, so this is a very random video. I was right in the middle of working and the project that i am working on is causing me a bit of anxiety, and so i decided i was gon na stop right in the middle of my work. Go do my makeup and kind of calm myself down. So in the midst of me doing that this is how my face is looking right now, and i decided you know what i'm going to take down my hair, because i've been needing to wash it and i'm going to do a random lymph check. So this is what my hair is looking like right now, i just have it twisted and up in a little like bun. What do you all think of my makeup? I think it came out pretty good, especially for just you know, not a makeup varnish or anything. I like makeup, so i like to dabble in it every now and again so here's my hair. I have it in some loose twists, they're, not very tight. I detangled my hair last week and then i detangled it again like sunday night, so i can get ready to wash it and i still haven't washed it. I'M going to be probably using this. This is oil, water and a little bit of conditioner here to try to like make my hair elastic, so i'm not pulling it while it's dry because it is dry at the moment. So i'm going to take down my twist. Let me turn so you can see how my hair is looking right now, hopefully you can see the back. I have to get on my tippy toes here. We are so real, quick on my edges. Let me update you on my alopecia. You can see after i had my daughter. She is two years and six months old. Now after i had her, maybe about a year after i had her. Is that right, yeah? So last year of february, because i breastfed for a year, i kept taking my prenatal pills and i kept taking my vitamins all the way up until after i stopped breastfeeding her. I breastfeed her for like a year and like two weeks so after i stopped that. I kind of stopped taking the prenatal pills. I stopped taking all the little pills that i was taking and stuff to kind of maintain my edges and my hair and my health, because i just i got really tired of taking the pills because, after a while, you just feel like you're, just kind of throwing Pills down your throat, or at least that's how i felt so i stopped taking them, and this is kind of what happened to my hair. My edges did completely fall out, but they have been growing back. So this is what they look like now. They started growing back this year in february. It'S taken a very long time. I haven't done anything to maintain them or haven't really been doing a real regimen for a very long time. You guys i mean my hair is in really bad shape right now, even though it doesn't look like it, it could really use some tlc, which i have not been giving it. So let me try to find some oil. I should have some in here. Okay, so i found this oil under my sink here, just going to take this clip down in my hands and just rub it all over. My hair just see my ends of my hair. Here'S how my hair looked if it was in a ponytail. So essentially, this is how i've been wearing it. So let's go ahead and take this down. I do have very fine hairs. Then i know a lot of people say that it's not thin, but my hair is very thin. The density is not as thick as other young. Ladies, i i would say this side feels a bit thicker, but overall it's not that big. I think the appearance on camera just looks different than the empirical person. So again, i've got an axe like about my regimen. You guys, i really honestly, i just keep my hair like this. I'M sure that in my last video i i haven't done anything to my hair detangle, it keep it twisted. I barely wash it barely shampoo it which is washing but barely pretty much barely do a regimen. I keep it moisturized and that's it. I'Ve gone below low maintenance, like i'm, not even sure what my regimen would. It wouldn't even be considered low maintenance because i'm like below low maintenance, so all right here is my hair taken down. I didn't separate or anything i just took it down. So if i was to take my hair down and go out somewhere, i would actually wear it like this. I wouldn't bother with separating my hair uh. If i did anything else to it, it'll be put a headband on it like this one that i have here. I would do something like this pull it back. If i did anything further it'd be a ponytail, but i think it looks. I mean i'm not really trying to impress anybody with a style or slicked edges. I know a lot of people like to slick their edges and things like that. You all if you've been following me for a long time. You know i don't bother. I pull my edges back. This is neat enough for me, so i may put some uh gel on it to give it a little bit of a cleaner look but other than that, i'm not doing any slicken baby hairs. My i don't have baby hair, i'm not gon na fake it. So you do what's best for you, okay, let me get to the lymph check, so my hair is clumped together right now, but this is kind of the front of my hair. I may have to bring this down soon. Okay, now my hair comes right to my nipple area. Actually, that's right now there are different lines, because when i twist my hair, i do just just uh twist just cut off the ends. I have my scissors on hand. So, every time i detangle and i twist my hair - i snip the ends, so i'm not worried about length of my hair, i'm going to get this measuring tape and actually see the length of this you'll see what we have. I have my mirror behind me. So if you see me looking kind of awkwardly behind the camera or some awkward direction, i have a mirror behind me. It'S not easy doing it by yourself. You guys i'm going to estimate this is my finger is on the 18 inches right here lock my face out: that's blurry, but my finger came down to the 18 inches on this measuring tape. So the front of my hair i'll go for estimated 18 inches, not sure i'm going to be able to get the back of my hair, but we're going to try. Let'S do the side of my hair. This is the size right over my ear side of my hair. Let'S see where this comes, this is uh, i would say at my waist and her waist here's my breast area, waist area. Okay, let's measure this see what we get 21 inches all right. It'S not gon na focus uh 21 inches. If i had to say the side, this side of my hair, i think they're pretty even oh, maybe not maybe not. Let'S see, let me show you all yeah they're, even yeah. This is my waist. Let me put them both to kind of show you so this one's a little bit shorter on this side, but not by much, maybe by half an inch all right, you guys and then we'll do the back, not sure i'm gon na be able to actually do The back so well in terms of measuring tape, but here's the back - and this is actually like the top of my tailbone right here. You guys this is actually on my tailbone, so uh case you're wondering like this is i don't know it depends on. It depends on where you classify your waist at if you classify your waist down lower around your you know, butt area or like right above your hip area, then that would be your waist. Maybe this is considered. You know, i'm not sure dude. It depends on how you measure your hair, maybe the sides of my hair, i would say, bra - strap lymph. I don't know it depends. This is past my bra, my bra is hitting me right here and my hair is hitting me down here. So this is under my bra. This is like on the bottom of my bra, and this is down here. So it's going to depend on how you measure your hair everybody's is different. I am 5'3 for reference, so my torso is short in case you're wondering, but i wanted to come on and show you all my hair do a quick lip check. You know what let me try to see. If i can do the back, this video will probably be unedited, because i'm writing this one working. So i just want to get this up quick uh. I may cut out some of the extra dead space. Let'S see if we can do a lint check, though on this and i'm going from the from my scalp all the way down to the bottom of my hair in case you're wondering so uh okay. So this is where my finger is stopping and this to say that it's 21 inches so is 21 inches in the back, so that would make sense so 21 inches 18 inches in the front yeah. This comes right to the bottom of my bra strap. If i was to pull it in the center, it's the bottom of my bra right here. Let me measure this again, just in case just in case she's, not all that she seems okay, so this says 20 inches. You guys. I got 20 inches when i measured this side, not really sure why i got anything. Let me try. Oh you know. I think. Let me see why. Okay, i think i know why i got the difference from here to here. The distance is different. This is different than this okay, so this very front portion of my hair is 18, but when i come to the back, it's 21. okay, this video is long enough. It'S random! I hope you all enjoyed my random lymph check. If you have any questions, definitely leave them down below and i will see you in the next video alrighty bye.

Shaughnessy Dixson: I been watching you FOR YEARzzzz! When I started my fine natural hair journey, I had a YT channel (CityGirl4Stl), and you were one of my main inspirations because I felt our hair was similar. I've watched you do and try things with your hair and scalp... and you've found a way to grow and retain the length of your fine natural hair. I'm truly amazed!!! That's the thing I have never been able to do (I'm still trying-LOL)! Even though you don't post as often as previous years, YOU ARE STILL INSPIRATIONAL to me as a fine haired natural. I'm always happy to see you post a video! I hope you realize your accomplishment and ability to inspire! xo

Sassy S: You've given me hope. Been natural for 10 years and I'm no where near waist length. I've finally learned how to get to armpit length and I'm happy. I'm gonna keep going.

Camille Thomas: Our hair usually flourishes with minimal manipulation. Since having my little ones I’ve been doing less with it and I’ve retained a lot of length. Good to see you back your hair looks great

Nkem Nelo: You are one of the ladies who inspired me to continue with my hair journey even when I felt discouraged (after 5 years of returning natural i was still stuck at shoulder length). I gave it one more push and I'm happy to say that I have finally gotten to and passed waist length; grazing hip length and getting to Full Hip length very soon. I'm so happy . Thank you for sharing your journey.

SheRea DelSol: You’ve been length goals for almost my entire journey

NaturalHY: Hello! You look beautiful! I too have long fine natural hair. Our hair looks very similar. And after 13 years on YouTube I finally uploaded a natural hair video last night. Keep this amazing content coming!

Bonnie: Yea a new video. I've been following for a few years. I'm also a fine/ low density natural. I'm at year 5 in my journey. Had a hair trim that was more like a cut. So it set me back and I was slackn on my hair for almost 2years..but I'm back on my hair care. You are def my length goals. I feel like ive been the same length for the past 2 years . im past arm pit length and my hair stretches in the front right above my breast. I want the front to hit nipple length and the back to hit waist length, its currently pass my bra strap by an inch or two

AllMy FavouriteThings: So great seeing an update from you. The growth is phenomenal

cutenobi: I’ve been following you for years. Please do a video on the current products you use. I’m currently doing nothing to my hair as well. I haven’t washed it in about 6 weeks. How often would you say you would wash your hair? Wow! Your hair has really grown.

Chirimoya08: Hey girl! Great to see you. You know I love watching you in your hair and your chit chats over the years. Your hair has come such a long way. :)

Kara Cee: I have been watching you for so long! I am so excited to see a video from you! You were one of the first, if not THE first fine haired naturals I looked up to for inspiration. You and your hair are still glowing.

MissJ: Your hair is beautiful even though you do low maintenance with it.. Amazing!

NaNaturals: oh wow ,love your hair! ❤. we have the same hair texture. I am on my journey to waist length too and i am documenting it on my channel.I just love seeing others taking care of their 4c type hair.

appleadventure: Make up and hair looking amazing sis!!

Jacqueline F: Haven't seen you in a long time. You're my hair twin ❤ Good to see you again . I'm still trying to grow my thin hair longer

Shanna Sloane: You did a great job with your makeup. You always do. Thanks for sharing your journey with us. I pray you and your family are doing well and staying safe. We miss you and hope you plan on doing more videos.

Diana Duncan: Nice to see recent videos. I been watching your videos forever. Was able to grow my hair 18 inches (before a 2nd big chop) because of you and other youtubers

natty lew: I'm so glad I found you. I'm about bra length now but my hair isn't dense so I was wondering how it'll look when it gets longer. I'm 5'2" so perfect lol. One thing though try not to say YOUR alopecia. We can't really get rid of things we claim.

TheChocBeauty: Good to see you. Your hair length is amazing!!

HelenaJ: You are my hair twin, same exact texture. I’m only a bra strap, hoping to gain 6 more inches. After that I don’t care lol.

Cierra Moten: I came here for the hair but i can't get over how pretty your eyes are

Kazouchan: So happy to see you again haha ! The hair is amazing and you look great.

M G-R: Good to see you sis, hope the family are well x

M G-R: Good to see you sis, hope the family are well x

EFTG: Naturally flawless and gorgeous..u literally have no wrinkles and fine lines‍♀️

BeautybyAlethia: Your my hair goals, I love it!

taredo3: I love how your hair has grown.

xandrafrancois: That's why I don't like the fact that hairdressers who straighten hair decide to cut it. Saying it's damaged because it's uneven. But if your hair is in a Curly state it doesn't matter. Our hair is always thinner at the ends. Or you have to cut it alot.

ParisianBreakfast: Your hair is gorgeous. Can you please share your current regimen please?

Lavinia Latham: OMG! So good to see you posting again! I don't know if you remember me, but back in the day, I used to have a channel called Viva the DivaTV! lol... you look GREAT! I'm glad to see that your hair is growing nice,

Badmama Jamma: I came to see how your hair is with the slope is and it’s doing well I see. Are you using any products?

Be A Lamb Would Ya!: I jus wish my edges would grow I think I know why imma stop putting so much tension on it. I miss my hair these faux locs been in for 4 weeks & im bored

Mona Whitaker: I don't think your scalp likes oils, like mine done. Try just Moisturizing your hair not your scalp, your hair will receive some oils from your hair. So maybe that will help with the thickness.

ieattofu68: I don't do slicked edges or baby hair either...

Eniye Mission: Hi dear, miss you and greetings from Naija. Please how do you deal with single strand knots. My hair grows but I keep cutting coz of knots. And my hair is always in twists yet the ends still knots. And I keep cutting.
