Hey guys, no, I did not dye my hair. I am wearing a wig, so today in the Halloween month, I thought it would be really nice to show you guys how to apply awake, because it's one of the things that kind of transforms a person the most. I think I have this week from uni wigs calm and it is a synthetic front, lace wig. So I'm going to show you how to apply this. How to achieve this? Look I'm going to do everything. So if you want to know, thank you watching it's a synthetic wig, so there's no human hair on here and I'd say for a synthetic wig. It looks pretty natural. I am really impressed with that. So let me take it out of the net and show you it's a very beautiful aqua, wig with waves and a little bit of a fringe in the front. What I'm going to do is I'm going to apply this without using any glue or tape, because I don't actually want to wear this for weeks on end. So the wig has the lace in the front. Then it has a combs on the front here to attach it and it has adjustable straps in the back. You can see here that you can use to make it fit to your head. The first thing I'm actually going to do is prepare this wig to go on my head because, as you can see, it has lace in the front and if I want to apply it now, just quickly without any wit gap, you can see that this lace is Sitting on my forehead, it does not match my skin. It needs to go. I actually need to cut it off, clip this hair back, to be absolutely sure that I don't got any of the hair. A lace front wing is a way that is specifically designed to give you a natural hairline in the front here it has got a natural hairline, so you want to cut around that making sure to avoid the hair. So I am leaving like a centimeter away from the actual hairline all right. So now that the lace is gone, I am just going to go back and cutting up my cuts cuz. I got ta fail here and there hey do you want this to be a nice straight line? So that's the lace gone so next, I'm going to prepare my own hair to actually receive the wig. So what I'm going to do is divide my hair into two sections and I'm going to start by wrapping this section around my head like that and pinning it down. I'M just going to use loads and loads of bobby pins all right and then take the other side and wrap it around the other side. The week actually came with a little mesh wig cap um, which is really nice, because this allows the scalp to actually breathe. While you're wearing the wig, so I'm going to apply this over my hair and the reason why I wrapped it like this is because that way ensures the most flat tucking away of your hair, especially when your hair's pretty long at mine. So I'm going to make sure that all my hair is covered underneath the wig cap. So I'm going in with my wig and the first thing I'm going to do is actually measure the size so that I can adjust the adjustable straps in the back. I just like that so now, I'm going back with my way. Okay and all I need to do is adjust the actual hairstyle, so I'm just going to play with it a little bit okay, so I've played around with it a little bit, and I think I, like you like this, so I'm gon na leave it this way. I really like the length and cuts off this way like it's so bouncy, nice yeah and I do think it actually looks pretty natural once you get used to the fact that I'm a blonde okay, so um yeah, that's how you apply a lace front wig. Kelly Pettersen: Your hair is the same color as the roots so like other commenters have said, if you set the with back further and leave an 1-2" of your real hair exposed and blend it with the wig, it will look like VERY real. Like this it's obvious it's a wig from the front. Ur natural hair is gorgeous. Smart move not dying ur real hair and damaging it
