Hi guys it's Becky here today. It is finally time to start my new wig series in this ongoing video guide. I will show you some basics about cosplay, wigs, like how I kept on my way to tell them and all things that are interesting for weak beginners. Just a little side note before we get started, and you might know I'm from Germany, so I'm actually leaving my comfort zone during this video in English anyway. I hope my English isn't too bad. So, let's get started with the most basic of all basics when it comes to wig tutorials how to wear a wig. First of all, it's time to prepare my long hair for wearing a wig. I will do one of these four methods to hide them underneath the wig cap. This is my quick and dirty method. For lazy days, I pull my hair into a low ponytail at the base of my head and use a thin hair ties. You can use this method if you have thin natural hair. Thicker hair should be divided into several sections. More advanced method for people with thicker or long hair is French braiding. I divide my natural hair in two sections in French braid each side down starting at the top of my hair, but a second French braiding. So I'm going to go ahead with regular braids afterwards across both braids and secure them at the top of my head with bobby pins, laid on all of your hair as flat as possible. The snare method is great for people with shorter hair. It'S pretty difficult with long hair like mine, so I'm just demonstrating one snail, cut your hair into several small sections and twist them to get a little snail to cure the ends with bobby pins. My personal favorite is the ponytail method, because it is fast and easy at the same time. First of all, I need to part my hair into two sections for the middle crease. I'M going to start with a small section at the front of my natural hair line. Make sure you put all the hair from the top of your head down to your ears into a small ponytail repeat the step on the other side and neck to do two more braids and pull my hair into two low ponytails of the base of my hair. Afterwards and I can secure the didn't -- we we have at the front of my hair - I must have frame, I usually use, got ta, be free spray or tough power holds. You can use a small hair comb or a soft toothbrush to thread the hairspray. Now we are done with the step. Try these methods to find a perfect one for your hair. So now we have made it to actually putting on the weekend. There are different kind of wicker. Usually you get one of these method. Wig caps are the ones are where most of the time you can get them in different colors. Usually you can buy them in nude brown or black. One way to put on the clothes wig cap to put both of your hands into the cap stretch it out and pull it over your head. Starting at the front. The elastic band of a wig cap is always going to go along your natural hair line. It holds your cap in place, so it doesn't slide off your head. I actually prefer netted caps with an open top part, put both of your hands into the cap and stretch it out now, pull it down around your neck. If there should be on the outside of your cap, so pull it through. I put the elastic band up near my natural hairline and push all my half inside the cap. Now I close the end of the cap by twisting it at least two times attach both ends of the netted cap, protect its like difference. You can also add a third clip to the neck area of your cap to hold it in place. This one is a solid stocking cap and these are always a cheap option. They are actually my new favorite kind for holding my hair back because they tend to slip off my head a little bit more than metal. I usually use stocking caps on top of a method with care to create a more solid look. It is also good for people with dark hair like mine, who want to wear a lighter wig. The stocking caps are also much harder than an added cap, because air can't get through it. That'S another reason why I prefer the netted one. If you have really thick hair, you can stack several wig caps on top of each other to contain and flatten your hair. Even more so now it's time to put on my wig first, I will adjusting the cap to the right size by using this little elastic band, leaving the straps unhooked to give you the biggest size. You can shrink down the size of your wig by hooking. These little straps into the notches I usually hook, the straps in the middle area of the basic cap, do not adjust the straps too tight. Otherwise, you can easily get a bad headache. The closer you get them to the center of your bag. So smaller the wig cap we get, if you have a really small head, you can cross them over and hook them to the opposite side. This is how you make it much smaller. Just to let you know not every week have an adjustable cap file, so this may not work for your wig. Some brands also have a kind of drawstring inside their wigs. Another feature of some ways: are this pre-comp once you have the wig on your head, you can just push this into your hair to secure the wig a lot better. If your weight comes without these combs, you can add bobby pins to secure your wig. Now, let's put on our wig and I use the flip method, so I put my head down, hold the front of my wig on my hairline and then pull the cap over my head. Then I just flip my head over and start brush on the bank, especially long wigs, look a little bit messy after you put them on with this messes. The base cap of your wig should always cover your whole wig head underneath. If your wig doesn't have come, you can secure it with bobby pins. Just push them underneath your wig cap straight line should be on the top. Now the method is putting the wick up by firing at the back of your hair, put both hands into your wig and place it on top of your head afterwards, and make sure that my natural hair is completely pushed up to the base cap of my wig. If you don't know how to place your way, you can use these little flaps. They should be placed above your ears once the wig is on your head. Push. These little comes into your hair to secure it in place. That'S it. We are done with this tutorial. I hope this tutorial was helpful and you picked up some new tips, even if you have been wearing weight for a long time. So if you have any tricks that you want to share with me or the community, please leave them in the comments down below see. You guys next time, thanks for watching
