Super Long Half Up Hair Using A Half Wig & Ponytail Hairpiece

Hi again, sorry its been a little while but I'm back with a BANG!! I did this style recently and had so many lovely comments i thought i would do a lil vid to show you how easy it is to create.

Im using a Hair Rehab London Luxe Half Wig and Luxe Wrap Ponytail Hairpiece just because my own hair is short and fine but if you have long thick hair then you can just follow the styling rather then the hairpiece application parts.

Hope you enjoy!!

Welcome back, I'm really really excited about this tutorial because it's a look, we just did on a photo shoot and I wanted to show you how to recreate it, because the person doing the hair on the shoot just came up with this there and they're using it To carry hormones and hair pieces going to go from this to this we're going to use a half way. This is the human hair, half wig, which means you can curl it. You can basically complete it to it. We'Re going to use that with a human hair. Ponytail so again you can curl this using these have a roots, I'm going to add in a root, because obviously I've got a dark root and it just makes everything blend a little bit more using root spray. I have done this in another video. So if you go to the channel, I think would be one of the most recent videos up. You can see exactly how to add your own roots. You see by just spraying it in. Can you get that root gently to neat with this particular style, and this does wash out okay, which is why it's canoe used or if um ever change up your color, I'm going to do the ponytail now and don't forget when you, if you're recovering a wrap Ponytail add some route to your strip of hair that wraps around the base that we've done that as well. We can get started now, you're going to need a few hair bands. I put two here and actually what also might help with some dry shampoo if your hair is quite fine dry shampoos, always useful for up dude you're going to need to separate your hair in sections this front sections are going to go from just by my ear Up to the top of your head, this top section you want to leave out for now up the way, then this fat section. This is why they're half-wits are kind of amazing, because you can just shovel this back section. You can tuck it away in the half. Wig, you can either take the ponytail high and keep it high to put this in a ponytail low anyway, you want to hide it within the hair is up to you. If you've got a lot of hair, I would suggest making two sections doing one up here and one down here. Just so, you don't got big love of your own hair. Let'S say I'm going to go high, you're, going to pull that hair back and put it into a high ponytail, and you take your half wig and it has these claws in there put your claws. You'Ve got your grips, you've got more claws down here and then you've got almost like a brass trap, type tightening device. I'M going to take that top floor and place it over and down. On top of that, ponytail you've got the back swing Center. Just pushing that downwards then take your bottom floor, make sure all your heads tucked in sides and push that upwards. Then you want to take your grips that are in sides and here open them up, pull it forward and then grip it in and the same on. This side, open up so you're half way, is properly attached. Then this section you're going to put it back into a ponytail this time. A neat ponytail make sure you're happy with how all this front section appears, although this will be tucked away. This is obviously going to be visible, so let's do the usual. This is my little thing. I do look. I'Ve got quite a big forehead, so I pull these little baby heads down means and once you're happy, you want to pull that back into a high ponytail. If you want, you can also just take a tiny bit of the half way into your ponytail that we make it feel really really secure. You do that. You'Ve got this going on at the moment. Yeah now we are going to add the hairpiece to the top, but while it's like this, what I'm going to do is actually Tong the half wig. So I have my fabulous Pro ready. What you're going to do? Take some random sections, curl inwards, you're, going to hold that for about 15-20 seconds, and then you let it drop and just leave it like that. For now you are going to brush out the end, but just to make sure it lasts that as long as possible. Just leave it for now and then repeat that on this side and do exactly the same on the other side, I'm sorry killing you now about no no pain again now for the ponytail. I have done a separate video on this as well. To show you how to put it in properly but you've got this claw, no idea, that's in focus or not that's going to go in between your head and your ponytail and then you're going to use this go around the ponytail there's a Velcro strip. So you're going to use the velcro to stick it together. Then you're going to use this piece to rough around this bit down with now. This is what can get quite fiddly. You want to try and keep the hairs of the ponytail separate from the heads of the half weeks. Otherwise it gets a little bit bit messed up. So you know 3m multi-panel these skills here. So, whilst keeping some pressure on that grip, take one section round to the back, you can use your thumb from this hand to hold that in place. Then take this section around the back and then attach the two velcro pieces together. This section of hair should now be on this side. Then you're going to use this to wrap around to conceal the base of the hairpiece you'll need some Kirby grip. Are you fine, like two or three? Is enough you're going to grip the ends of this pita? Just wraps around into the base of that ponytail, basically anywhere, you can kind of concealer you profile in that now you need to cut a shape it and style it underneath here, you've got your netting at the hair, is all attached to, but you've just got kind Of slipping your fingers and plums in and shape that bit of netting puts it flat on which ways like this then split your printer into two and now you're going to talk exactly the same as you did the half week, you're going to trim the ponytail, the Sections are facing towards you: okay, the hair is told so you're going to bring it all forward. You can kind of see it already taking shape, but now you're going to loosen up the curls a little bit so you're going to you can use your fingers first. What I like to do is get a paddle brush and kind of brush upwards. I also want to create some volume under here, so take that, as any section do this at the same movement feels like pushing her up hoods see it. I give it volume and then you can use our hair to cover it. Just in this side was happy, it's in place hairspray and you get to go. I'M you

Tenacious Dee: Great video . Half wigs are so awesome especially for people like me who have mega fine hair and not a lot of it . So much more comfortable than clip ins and not damaging like semi permanent extensions . I've tried them all and no matter what ppl say they do damage your hair . My hair simply cannot take the weight alone regardless of the type . This is great to show the versatility of half wigs . Really don't get why ppl troll online . So sad . Thanks for video

It'sVannah: I have a set of completely blonde extension that I use to make a ponytail with by wrapping around my existing pony, but I've let my root grow a considerable amount, so it looks a bit silly some times, by that root spray is a GENIUS idea and I have to try it.
