Hey guys, it's wise, oh hey, dude! If you thought the warring twenties hype was fading away. You are wrong. I am sorry. I just downed a whole cup of coffee and I am whoa. So today we are going to be styling a new wig into a seen. Wig for the Roaring Twenties, I think it's important. So if you are wanting to join in on the Roaring Twenties hype and shamelessly help to bring back the scene and emo style, if you want to live your full scene fantasy with some bright giant scene, hair straight from 2007, without committing to changing up your real Hair then wigs are a fantastic option for you. Wigs are great, wonderful things that I love with a passion because you can literally just put one on and suddenly you have an entirely new look. You can change up your hair whenever you want to without the damage. Without the upkeep, I would recommend getting a wig feel like I'm just trying to sell wigs to you right now anyway. So today we're going to be styling this week from either hair, which you can get through the link in the description below into the seen hair of my dreams. So without further ado, let's get straight into styling this wig, it's nice and thick, so we should be able to get some pretty decent volume out of it. My hair keeps going gappy, don't miss that from my scene values, so we need a wig cap. I hope that worked so I'm going to quickly cut the lace on this. I'M not gon na go too in depth. Really. What I'm gon na do is cut the lace as close to the hairline as possible, and that's really it and then put it on my head. So now that we have got the wig on it's time to completely wreck it with scissors, I am going to change it, so I'm just gon na pull the hair over to begin with and kind of just brush it over to the side it did arrive. Obviously, in that middle parting, so it might take a little bit of brushing through to make it stay on that side and try to get a gauge of where I want it. This can be kind of messy work. Just so you know, you know that I've got the hair, I think mostly where I want it. We'Re gon na focus mostly on the fringe area, because obviously this could do with a trim. So at first this is probably going to look like a mess. It does all come together later on when we're kind of back combing and like kind of putting things in place for now, we're just going to be roughly chopping, cutting a sort of gradient in the fringe, and then we will work from there. So I'm just going to be chopping and I don't want to cut off too much at this point because you know, obviously you can cut it to be shorter if it's too long. But if you cut it too short, there's no going back, so that could do being a bit shorter. So so now that you cut like the majority of the length off, it's now obviously not ideal like this. What I like to do to get my weeks to stay in place in terms of the fringe is to just back comb it at the top here, and it really helps to kind of stick it all together. You'Re kind of making tiny knots for the hair to kind of interlock. I guess, and it really helps to make things stay in place and that combing is obviously going to be a big thing later on when we're styling the rest of the wig. We'Re just trying to sort of put everything roughly where we want it to be, and this does tend to take quite a bit of backcombing. So I'm sorry if this is like triggering to anyone, knowing that this is not a cheap wig and I'm just wrecking it right now. This is an important step. Okay, I'm gon na cut this bit because it is a bit too long. It'S kind of getting in the way, so the good thing is I like really choppy seen hair. So I don't have to worry too much about being too neat, so I'm just kind of cutting in some shorter layers while doing this as well. Again, mostly just roughly doing it, I will need to knit up a little bit later on. I know it's like to make a gradient right at the front here on both sides, so, while I'm just cutting into some layers, how about you guys were in the comments some of your most memorable moments from your scene phase and eat my face? If you had one, what is something that really made you're seeing things assume that he's well, the majority of my like sort of seeing in my face, I think I definitely did lean more on the Eloi spectrum and something that really solidified. My was My Chemical Romance because of course it was. I remember when I went to see them for the first time in 2010 it was the 23rd of October 2010. I went to see them in London at Hammersmith, Apollo or getting ready for their new album and on the train ride there. I wrote em CR all over my arms and my hands like I just took a biro pen and MCR all over which looking back now is a little bit obsessive, a little bit a little bit much a little bit extra, but I mean it was definitely one Of the best days of my life, I have pictures from that day frame because it was a very special day for me. I am struggling to get this to stay. I might need to use some hairspray or some heat. I mean that doesn't kind of cool. Maybe I don't know, I'm gon na take some more hair from the side and I've cut that a little bit getting ready for the you know the side washy part. I realized that me doing this might be painful to watch and if that is the case, I'm very sorry. I know this looks insane, but it's been promised. It will look better at the end, I hope at least otherwise. I will have made a huge mistake. We are getting somewhere; it is turning out a little bit differently to how I intended it to. I think it should still be fine. We just need to do a little bit more trimming. I don't really know how to describe like this sort of trimming process. It'S really just finding parts of it just kind of taking pieces and seeing like does it need to be shorter. I feel like there are a few different kind of variations of seen hair, and this is turning out to be something more like at the moment. At least it looks like it's leaning more towards the 2011 tumblr sort of seen hair. I think seen. Hair did kind of evolve to look a little bit different, like there are different variations of it that I've noticed. This definitely feels a lot more 2011 to me. I hope that makes sense. I guess in that sense I am kind of doing more the sort of thing that I wanted back in 2011, so just chopping some more layers. I realized I am cutting off a lot of hair, but it's worth it in the end. I think it's nothing to come together, so I'm excited to see what it looks like at the end during this really is just kind of eyeballing it just making a little adjustments as you go my 14 year old self would be having a field day right now. Honestly, I find it really therapeutic cutting wigs. I know some people might find it more stressful and scary, but I don't know there's just something about it. I mean I always like to cutting my real hair and like styling it I'm just gon na brush through it. A little bit just so I don't get lost and I can see the layers more clearly. I will return to the fringe area, I'm just kind of getting everything to roughly look through my hairbrush. You can come on a trim, this a little bit more, be careful about not getting synthetic hair in your eyes by the way, because that that is not fun. I can't wait to show you the pile of synthetic hair on the floor right now. So another question for you for the comments: what is your emo anthem? I would find it very difficult to just pick one. Obviously, anything by My Chemical Romance may be famous last words like in terms of the singles like the more well-known bigger ones. I think that would be my favorite one. I definitely prefer famous last words to welcome to The Black Parade. I don't know if that's an unpopular opinion, but also the old escapes of fate songs. Oh, I love that album so much. I still listen to that regularly and Flyleaf as well. They were definitely and obviously still are one of my favorite bands and also obviously Evanescence. I grew up with Evanescence. I also grew up listening to linkin park. I mean considering. I literally grew up on all of these amazing emo bands. It is no surprise that I was destined to turn out to be you know, to have a scene and eating my face these days. I tend to embrace just all different styles, obviously revisiting this style, which has been super fun. Obviously, do you, like my pink pastel sort of, looks as well, but I also like alternative looks like I just I've learned to embrace all sorts of different styles. I love so many that I feel like I would be limiting myself so much if I just stuck to one style. People might think that I should just pick one style and stick to it and I'm just constantly having an identity crisis, but I've just learned. I, like different styles, I think it's worth enjoying all of them, rather than just putting myself in a box of just one style. Obviously, if you like, just sticking to one style, that is completely fine at the same time, if you like different styles as long as you're looking how you want to look, that's really all there is to it anyway, back to a week's die. Think I don't think we have much more to do just to kind of neat and things up and do some hairspray to get things to stay where I want them, but yeah we are reaching the end. I think this hasn't really taken as long as I thought it would. I don't know how long this video is gon na be the good thing about having such a thick dense. Wig is like look at all of that volume. Oh my god. I can finally have my hair being as big as I always wished. It would go and what so loving how it looks at the dark rooms, but I always do so. I'M gon na bring it a little bit with some dry shampoo to try and make it a little bit less shiny, give it some more human-like texture. I'M now gon na use some hairspray. I'M using Li got to be glued hairspray, though I'm just gon na make sure that the fringe is right actually want to cut this a little bit more. I think we are pretty much done. Hair spray is definitely helping. This stay in place right now, and so here is the finished product. This is all the hair dye chopped off by the way here we are folks ready to return to myspace. I am honestly super happy with how this turned out. I could make this quite a bit bigger if I wanted to, but I don't like I feel like this is a good volume this week has a lot of hair in it. I really like it, though I hope you like it too. If you don't that's fine, I guess but um just please don't be rude about it. I really like it so yeah. I guess that's really it a happy Roaring Twenties! Well, I am gon na go. Listen to some, like AM agreements escape the fate, maybe a little bit of pierce, the veil, maybe head over to tumblr and reblog some fisheye photography of monster cans and skateboards the good old 2011 tumblr days so yeah. I hope you enjoyed this video or maybe found it useful. Let'S do a quick before and after so this was the week before, and this is the wig now i like the wig now personally, if you would like to follow my other social medias, wait. Princess Lia.: I’ve never had a scene phase because I was a preteen/kid during 2005-2011 and I have decided that the rawring 20s will be my time to shine as an emo/scene child

Idiotic Frog: Don’t ask why I searched this up just know I did and I don’t regret it

Sophie Tyzack: Wig tip: if your trying to change the parting and the hair keeps going in the other direction or not sitting right. Hold the hair in place and blow it in the direction you want with the blowdryer on the hot setting

Art3mis-RPO: I was always called emo but never had any emo hair style of makeup or anything like that, recently I've been called alternative but I do love this sort of hair style though

Kaitlyn Roberts: Also, I relate SO MUCH to the having several styles. I definitely don't belong to any one category, but I dabble in many. Whatever I feel like at the time, and brings me joy.

W3ird0 W33ab00: I didn’t have a scene phase, I’m more in a goth/punk phase entering the magical scene phase rn XD

Ashley Evernight: I wish I could go back to those days with the knowledge I do now. I always wanted to be able to do emo hair and makeup then but didn't know how. Giving me major nostalgia mentioning those bands and songs though!

Harriet L: LOVE THIS. I could never get my hair to do this in my emo phase. So, time to order a wig and follow this video.... <3

Ponyo Fishsticks: The begining of my scene phase was basically the year I learned to cut hair XD Also green day was and always will be my favorite band <3 howeverrr I would consider Nightcore my phase cuz I've loved rock since I was a kid

CheerUp2: My scene phase was a big failure because I had curly frizzy hair :')))))))) im basically living it out now with chemical straightening, god bless

마르스 ♡: i really want scene hair because i was barely 3 when emo culture was big and im so sad i missed it

Mrs. 1776: I'm 31 and still have this style

Courtney Wells: Definitely cutting my own hair for YEARS!! Was the biggest part of my scene phase so I totally felt all the cutting you were doing!!

Lilithgray: Why am I tempted to go back to this hair style

Megan Boudreau: Listening to you talk about it all made me so happy and threw me back to my very young emo/tomboy phase. I have been considering doing this with a wig and you made me decide I am doing it. Thank you for being kick ass :) keep being you and doing whatever style you want :)

Kayla Morris: The music, hair and makeup. Also making new friends who were also scene and emo. Even though some people thought i was fake lol. I also just loved the feel of it. Wearing band shirts and black all the time was just so cool. Idk why, but i mostly went to walmart back then to get most of my clothes. The teasing was such a pain for my hair though, because i have such thin hair. I remember using really thick aerosol hairsprays just to get it to stay in place, but it was all worth it in the end. And yes Linkin Park is amazing and My Chemical Romance. Its just so nice to hear people still talking about it in 2020.

Little Biscuit: I'm so glad that the scene phase is coming back, it was a huge part of my identity as a teenager <3

PumpkinMermaid92: 8th grade to start pod freshman year was the start of my emo interest with Evanescence, MCR, Escape the Fate, Attack, Attack!, Underoath, etc. My MySpace page was themed with skulls and broken hearts, short stories galore, and was obsessed with Alex Evans from Canada. I would research the emo look and always wanted the hair, the style, dyed my hair black, and always had my eyeliner armed and ready. It wasn't till my early to mid 20s when I finally was able to do my hair with the big tease, hairspray, extensions, and started wearing false lashes. I dabbled in color hair and kept cutting it, but always went back to black. I'm 28 now and it's how I live my life. Will never be anything more or less. Emo is a lifestyle not just a look ‍♀️

Mollie: The most memorable point in my emo/scene phase was when I would draw my eyeliner all the way down my cheek (inspired by Black Veil Brides) and wore heavy black, glittery eyes to school. I had a blue glitter mascara to go with the look and would wear pale lips with very glossy topcoat

IrisBlack01: Wow it’s such a nostalgic for me I’m like living the pastel girl fantasy I’ve always had

xX2birds1stoneXx: I love this so much! I got a bit that I've been meaning to style for sp long, and now I lnow how! Thank you!

DarkKitten: I got extensions coming in bleaching my hair purple the top layer and blue streaks through the hair which is my galaxy dream :)

Funky Jozzy: I’m thirteen, I was too young to live through a scenekid phase when it was popular. The community is slowly but surely growing again, so I believe it’s my time >:)

Aniek Scharenborg: My most memorable moment of being emo/scene was influencing my highschool boyfriend who became emo because of me We were really cute together :3 And just the feeling of cutting my hair and making fake piercings

aEquanimity: I'm the same... I like a lot of different styles and types of music. It's more fun that way haha. I was supposed to see MCR in March but it was canceled... honestly I love emo music but I suppose I wish I had more of an emo/scene phase in the 00s. oh well rawring 20s here's my chance lol

Astell Kirk: Never even heard of scene until now reading a book and someone had it so I've looked it up. Kinda like it. Liked even better because the colour of wig chosen is what I'd love.

kitsterangel: Never been much of an emo in style but my playlist was 100% rock and punk rock so it earned me that name haha, personally I'm a BMTH and Asking Alexandria type emo, but I'm so happy you mentioned Flyleaf bc they're so often forgotten!! And yes, it's so rare to find style switchers too! One day I'm emo, one day I'm goth, another I'm punk, another I'm rainbow, then the next Im a hypebeast I love the finished product!! Definitely gonna try it with a wig instead of damaging my actual hair even more (I sort of already have the emo mullet but with straight square bangs rather than swooping)

Annette Lozano: Love the idea of using a wig instead of one’s actual hair. I have a big forehead and the hair closer to my hairline is kind of thick so it would never stay in place even with trying to tease the hair so I never got to do this lovely style cx Edit: I meant to say thin, not thick. My apologies

Alex gaming: Love the hair style you did soon I will do this thanks for your support my friend ❤

Bunni Reed: once my hair gets longer this is the first thing i’m doing

Rachel Moon: I needed this for a cosplay - thank you so much!!!

AndroidMan: So happy emo and scene are returning. Also your tutorial was nice and you're super cool man.

Meemz: Vampires will never hurt you and our lady of sorrows thanks for the trip down memory lane lol :D your hair looks great

Kai Decadence: You have a really soothing speaking voice and it was fun to see you transform this wig. I've gotta be honest htough that all the bands you listed as "Emo" bands really weren't Emo.I don't mean to be "that" person but I just have to speak up on that because it's a big misconception. To give a little rundwon ✘ My Chemical Romance ~ They actually did start out as an Emo (Emotive Hardcore) band when they debuted in the music scene back in 2002 with their "I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love" album. But after that, they transitioned into a hybrid of Alternative Rock and Pop Punk after that with their 2004 album that most of us grew up with "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge" ("Helena", "I'm not Okay", you know the songs I'm sure lol) and they stayed in those genres from there on with the Black Parade and Danger Days. So to call them an "Emo" band is really not accurate because the bulk of their stuff is not Emo music, just Alternative or Pop Punk. ✘ Flyleaf ~ They're actually an Alternative Rock / Alternative Metal / Hard Rock band. They never were Emo. ✘ Evanescence ~ They're actually Alternative Metal / Hard Rock though they did dabble in some Nu Metal back during the Fallen era of 2003. Never were an Emo or Goth band. ✘ Linkin Park ~ They started as a Nu Metal band but eventually moved to Alternative Rock & Electronic Rock. The only Emo band you included was Escape the Fate and that's more in line (though mainstream) sound of what Emo music tends to sound like. If you were looking for more Emo bands, I would highly recommend Thursday, Rites of Spring, Jawbreaker, Sunny Day Real Estate, and Mineral. Admittedly I was never much into Emo music but I'm really into researching and exploring genres of music and that's why I know what I do about the Emo genre lol Anyway I hope this helps. Just know it's not meant to be an attack, think of it more as a learning experience. :) Anyway, bang up job on the wig, you really transformed it because I admit, watching you work with it gave me anxiety haha.

Erik Forster: Yes I love you're tutorial in hair

☠ g0re wh0r3 ☠: I love the scene style but I definitely lean more emo/grunge. I had emo hair for awhile but I couldn’t deal with the styling because of all the teasing and product necessary to keep it looking good. And now I’m here lol.

Darci-marie Foster: I am so obsessed w cutting and styling hair I have really short hair and I style my cosplay Wigs so much my mum goes mad and I listen to Andy black x

Janelle TAA BozemanCx: I would literally buy this wig from you.

Caribu: I was a scene kid between 2012-2015 I'd say, but since the egirl-upcoming I'm really tempted to get back at it :D

JiminSmollBean: I went through that FLUFFY ASS HAIR and damaged grass hair dye emo phase

xXXx_Luna_ balm_xXXx: Thanks for this, my curly hair messes with my scemo lifestyle!

gøth øwl: Literally just watching this because my boyfriend misses his old hair and he wants me to do it for him again wish me luck!

energetic Poptart: The other day I saw someone with the outfit hair makeup and everything at the store it was amazing

Briana Horn: This hair was super prevalent in '05/'06 my preteen years.

Janelle TAA BozemanCx: That was my hair in 2014-15! I miss it so much

Alҽχíѕ 爆: Es nuestro turno de enseñarle a la nueva generación estos peinados y estilos también la música

Elizabeth Haggard: Ive seen this girl on insta! Looked up how to make scene wig and boom she has a channel!!

Taco Of Love: Switchfoot, meant to live. I’m not scene but I’m wanting to try this style, I wouldn’t have been allowed to do this when I was younger but I’m gonna do it now that my hair is blue wish me luck

Sierra Higgins: Literally just watched this so I could do someone's hair for a play

toe crusts: i freaking want the scene hair so much. but my parents won’t let meee :((

Brandee Callaway: Love it!

Ele Conti: me about to enter my emo phase: :DD toxic ppl at my school: and u think we gonna let u do that? also me: :dd

Danielle LaRocca: Um hi ‍♀️ I just randomly found you and watched this video cause I have a wig I want to style because of my scene days and I think we should be best friends MCR is still my favorite band only I’ve been a fan since 2002 lol and my birthday is October 23rd.. awesome video and I want to try this! I’d probably botch it up though.. MCR wise my anthem would be “Headfirst For Halos” and not MCR would be “the quiet things that no one ever knows” from Brand New

Belle Holiday-Rose: I loved this!!

Elissa Luker: MCR, LINKIN PARK, EVANESCENCE, PIERCE THE VEIL... some of my favorites... oh yeah and flyleaf is bomb

Raminta: i wasn't able to be emo in my teen years so i am becoming one now no regrets

Evilyn Craft: I had the scene hair 2 years ago and it looked like a lion. Now I barely have any hair since I damaged it But my hair is growing and haven’t teased my hair for a year But I have a emo scene wig now :3

Michelle R: My emo phase was solidified by skating to abandoned locations, drinking monster, and posting aesthetic instagram posts. And of course warped tour

Oblivion-Zeze Leaves: Your makeup is cute, want those lashes

PetitMew: I was more greebo rather than emo. Probably cos I'm an olde but my hair was mostly black or dark brown (naturally I'm brown) with a bleach blonde or pink side fringe, similar to how you are making this wig fringe to look like.

Courtney Wells: Emo anthem: definitely anything pierce the veil or sleeping with sirens. And YESSS to evanescence and linkin park!!

bbunniboo: I've been wanting to have the scene hair but my hair just doesn't want to do it so im resorting to wigs.

Craig Tucker: Hehe mcr and black veil brides I did this technique on my own hair It worked :)

MetalPunk98: I dress more like a cholo/ greaser but I’ve always liked the emo scene girls I thaught they were so pretty <3

Maddy Lastrapes: Having friends I only ever talked to (or knew) on wattpad‍♀️ I was 13 in 2015 so I was really late to the party

Kai: In sixth grade I literally covered the left side of my face with hair. Like it was really long and I could not see out of my left eye. I also wore this weird bluish-black jacket every single day.

RaccoonSpit: Having mcr posters cover my room and reading mcr fan fiction I still have the posters

Cece B :3: I’m so tempted to go to school like this because I was NEVER confident enough a few years ago

Kai: i had like a goth phase in fifth grade. I always wore black skirts and lacy black shirts with black tank tops- it was to the point I had duplicates of my clothes so that I could wear black every day. though at the same time I was also wearing patterned grandma shirts at least once a week, which I'm not proud of.

Why am I still here I ship Gerard and Frank: I’m coming into my scene phase... I want that hair Either ways I’m fully remote from school soooo... LOLLL NOBODY IS GOING TO SEE IT I’m kinda worried

Jesse Nichole Harper Boshell: Had a scene phase but was too poor for it lol always wondered how to do the hair

Guatemama: I was definitely triggered with you cutting they wig I remember it took years for my hair to not be so umm scene :/ some days I wonder if I should do it again— but I’m a mum and my kids would be confused

jay bird: I had a Gerard way shrine on my wardrobe door made from Kerrang magazine posters and dressed up like him from the black parade video for Halloween. I also used to drink rockstar on the sly with my friends in the park after school XD

Mevel_ Nevel: I’m 13 and I always wanted scene hair, but I have wavy super thick hair and I’m afraid to mess up my hair by cutting it ;-;

Patrick Star with a guitar: I’m more of an emo going into the scene style

Larry Collins: 2:15 gorgeous eyes ❤️

Autumn: Synthetic wigs are hell to style and cut because they're sewed to be center parted and lay flat I think I was only scene when I was 14-15 then after that I've either been a mix of emo and goth or pink pastel depending on my mood there's no in between. But I still do scene hair to this day and I'm 21 now. Was never really into any of the emo bands though so that alienated me from all the other scene/emo kids lol.

Victoria Deleon: i want to be scene again so bad, I dread not having emo hair again

Taybae205: Yasssss I’m cutting my wig right now

Lexi Bell: Not sure what my emo anthem is... probably something by Fall Out Boy. They're still my favorite band to this day.

Badd Juju: Always been OBSESSEDDDD w this hair but ..... im brown idk if it’ll look good w my skin. I loveeee this hair tho

Kam Lapordo: My scene phase was definitely based on my chemical romance and Green Day oml

Jacie Fabert: im still going threw my emo phase lol

mantis: im abt 2 cosplay aesop carl and i rlly wanna give him these type of bangs but idk yet...

donkyuhbuhts540: I approve of this

Just another opinion c:: I wanna cut my hair like this soooo bad but I don’t think I’ll look good with that hairstyle

Caitlin Koelsch: I’m going through such a phase, I’m on the emo side or was. Now I’m kinda like soft but idk I’m just going through it again.

Xx_Toby_Gacha_xX: I'm gonna get a scene haircut if my mom allows it. If not I got a wig.

Senda: Because of bad genetics I have thinner hair. Can anyone tell me if my hair would be okay for a scene look? It's averaging 24 inches right now. My bangs are the same length as my hair. My hair (because it is thin?) and through experimenting can get a ton of volume.

The cosplay closet: Chain's is my goth faze also drawling on my arms with sharpy

Ray_The_Rat: My emo phase has just begun.

MorriganZo: You ask when was my scene phase but the reason I searched for this was bc I just now started my scene phase :p

Yoshiku Haru: u are so kind and cute. is this possibility to order a wig like this from u, already cutted?

xbl0xd_diemondx exe: I love this

Ano Nym: I want to buy your wig. I try to cut my wig but it looks like an Accident :(

autumn rodgers: I’m going to get hate for this one but what made my emo phase was BOTDF

Rex Zapata: I think my emo anthem is All Over You by The Spill Canvas

Brianna Veurink: Im still in it!! Lol

Avril Isenberg: but that blue wig was really pretty

Larry Collins: 1:49! Hair in face
