How I Prep My Short 4B4C Natural Hair For A Wig & Watch Me Slay A Straight Hair Wig Ft. Bestlacewigs

Hey y'all welcome back to my channel. I know you all have missed my fro, as have I I'm gon na, be showing you guys how I prep my 4b 4c short natural hair, which isn't a taper cut that I cut myself in this particular video. I'M gon na be showing you guys the method that I use when I don't feel like doing cornrows on my hair. This is what it looks like in the back. The shape is still looking great y'all. When I saw my hair, I feel I wash it. I was like man, I have to bring this to the fam, so for those who think I don't have 4b 4c hair, you can see that I do. This is what the front looks like. This is a little mini check for y'all. My hair is growing as you can see, and the back is at my collar y'all. So these are some of the products that I'll be using the blueberry blitz, mint tea oil buy curls. I love that stuff and when I'm out of that, I generally go for this fertilizer oil by roots natural, and this is my favorite styler, the unnatural Co defining glaze. So I generally start by finger detangling my hair and, as you can see, it is dry. I did detangle after I washed it, but I'm gon na apply some of this styler, which is gon na help to hydrate and moisturize my hair. I really really love this product because it really penetrates my dry hair and it really does a great job of keeping it moisturized for a long period of time. So I just kind of just slather it onto my hair and then begin to manipulate, and this really helps to get out those tangles without damage. So now that I've completed the detangling process and my hair feels as moisturized and as pliable as I'd like, we need to flatten this froze. So I like to begin by sectioning off my hair, once it's sectioned off, I'm going to begin to use crocodile clips in order to keep it secured and out of the way and then I'm going to proceed to plat my hair. The key is to ensure that when you plot that you can pull your hair, taut and it'll be flat along the top, so that when you apply your wig cap, nothing is bulky. When I get to the last 1 or 2 inches of hair, I like to begin twisting so I'll, just smooth that out apply more moisturizer and then I'll proceed to twist. So, as you can see, you really don't have to do cornrows in order to get your hair to be really flat, just pull it at the top to make sure that everything is smooth down and begin braiding. Now, according to your lint, this may look differently, but I only had to do five braids now that our hair is all radiant. We just need to flatten everything out a bit more by pulling the braids toward the middle and pinning them down, and this is really gon na help everything to be seamless and to be great under our unit. So the next thing I like to do after braiding up my hair is apply an oil because I really want to make sure it's fully moisturized and I love this oil because it has an applicator tube and then you can apply your stocking cap now. Once you apply your stocking cap, if you notice that everything it's not as flat as you like, just pull it down and add a bobby pin and you're good to go now, let's get into this weird y'all, so the way that we're gon na be slaying today Is from best lace, wigs and I wanted to see if they lived up to their name and y'all. They did right out of the package. Hair was so soft smelled amazing and was ready to go. This is a 360 unit. It comes with two combs on the side, one at the bottom and the lace was flawless, came bleached and everything y'all, the hairline was even pre pluck very well so y'all know I was hanging, see y'all. Look at this. Look at how amazing it looks already. We need to cut off this lace and get this unit on my head, so I'm gon na begin cutting off the lace as close as possible to the hairline, and because this is a 360, you need to go around the whole circumference of the hair. And then we can actually begin the install all right now we can begin installing, but before we do that, I do want to darken up my stocking cap. I don't have one, that's my face color. Currently, I'm all out, so I decided to use my face powder. I get asked a lot where you can find the ones that are actually your color, but if you are unable to do so, then just use your face powder or even your foundation will work perfectly now we can put the unit on so let's do these. I did get my unit in a size medium this time and for this particular company it fit perfectly. I just adjusted the straps in the back put it on, and it already looks really good and we haven't even laid anything. I am also going to be doing the modified version of the stocking cap method. I'M not actually going to be cutting the stocking cap and all that stuff, I'm just going to be placing the gossipy glue in the yellow bottle over the band in the front, and I did not pull it all the way forward, because I have a box of Hair line, so some of the gossipy glue is going to end up on my edges, but that's fine, because I actually use this product on my edges to slick it down anyway. So that's okay! After applying about two layers that they got to be glue to the front parameter, you can begin blow-drying on the cool setting and then you can move the unit forward after placing the unit down going one section at a time I like to use the back of My rat tail comb in order to press into the lace, and this is really going to help to make sure it's fully secure and then I begin working on my baby hair. After completing my baby hair. I did decide to go into the part and just refine it a bit with my face powder and any areas along the hairline. I followed that up with the white just to clean it up a bit and it looks really great now we need to set everything by using an elastic band, so I just wrapped the elastic band around and while I'm waiting for it to set, I am gon Na proceed to now just press out the hair to make sure everything looks nice and straight. This is Indian, remy hair, it's inland 18, but it looks much longer in my opinion and it's in a 180 percent density and it feels very full y'all. I decided to spray water along the parting area just to make it flatter, and then I follow that up with my press iron, but you can feel free to also use a straightening comb. So now it's time to remove the elastic band. I'M just gon na use a comb to clean up the area around my baby hair and we are finished guys. This hair is so long. I love it so much. This is the perfect unit. For any occasion, it was very easy to install very beginner friendly and for under 200 bucks. Listen, this unit had my life together, and you can also put it back in a ponytail. You can put it up in a number of styles. I didn't decide to do that, but I am gon na show you all what it looks like back in a sleek ponytail. It'S a gorgeous look at that lid y'all. So this is what it looks like in a little ponytail.
