How To Grow Long Healthy Natural Hair Under Wig (Moisturizing Routine)

Hey loves its Angelica and welcome back to my channel in this video. I am going to be showing you how I moisturize my hair under a wig. This is a wig right now and I have always moisturize my hair really nicely, which is why I don't get damaged after I moisture after I do my wigs. So I'm going to go in depth and show you exactly how I do it in this video. You can go check out that review if you're interested in this hair. So let me just get into the products I use before. I actually do the demonstration, so these are the products I use they're. Only three. The first thing I use is this continuous spray bottle. The lid is kind of off. I don't know why it is. It still works, so you know it doesn't matter as long as it does the job. I use this continuous spray bottle, but you can use any spray bottle. You like. I use oil there's almost nothing left in here, but it's gon na be enough for this video and then I use either a leave-in conditioner or I use a regular conditioner. Today I will be using this one: the manuka honey and mafura oil intensive hydration conditioner. That is what it looks like, so let us get straight into the demonstration because the so many planes passing it keeps making so much noise and then yeah, okay. So right now I am just taking my wig off, as you guys can see. I have this little wig cap on underneath, and this is what my wig is looking like. Like I said, if you want to watch the tutorial, it's actually not up yet I know I think I said that, but it's not yet up it's coming up soon. Anyway, I take off my little wig cap, and this is what my braids are looking like. They are three weeks old. I am very proud of myself, because this is the longest my braids have ever stayed after. I braided them myself. Okay, so do not roast me! Okay, so starting off, I am taking my infinity spray bottle and I am spraying all over my hair. Now I know it looks like I'm spraying a lot, but, as you guys can see, I'm pretty sure you can't even see the mist coming out. It is very little so be generous with it don't make your hair like wet, just make it nice and damp enough and easy to absorb product, and the reason why I put this even though I'm gon na be putting conditioner in it is because conditioner is really Thick, even some leave-in conditioners, I think unless it's like a leave-in spray, which I mean I don't like to spend money on that unless I really have to so when my hair is damp, it really absorbs a conditioner nicely. So, as you can see right now, I'm just massaging the water I sprayed into it so that it can be nicely absorbed by all of my hair and get ready to absorb the conditioner. Now this is like a comedy moment. Look at me. I was trying so hard, I swear, it wasn't locked, I was trying to squeeze this out and it just wasn't working, and that was the best I could do. And then here is me looking like, I did it, but I really just put it down squeeze it in my palm and I was like look. I did it anyway. That'S the amount I take. You don't want too much because you don't want to build up in your braids, so I wrap it between my palms until it's like really nicely evenly distributed between my palms, then I start to put it all over my hair. I start with the ends of my braids because you guys know the ends are the driest part of the hair and then I focus it on the rest of my hair and on my edges, because y'all know I love to protect my edges, I'm not about to Be out here with you know: traction alopecia, no ma'am. So yes, I put this all through my hair, massage it in very nicely. I try to put this in real time, so you could see exactly how long I massage the hair and, as you guys can see it is actually not that long. I just do it until you literally cannot see any product and, as you guys can see, it is basically all completely absorbed into my hair, and now we are moving on to oil. So all you don't need that much because you don't want it to be. Like you know, sticky or anything, so I rub that amount between my palms. I start with my edges. Take it all the way down and I still have a lot of oil on my hands after as you can see, and I focus that on the ends before massaging it all in. I don't know what had me shook at this little moment, but this is what I do not every day, but I decided to include it in the video and this is when I put oil in between the lines of all my braids. I only do this about once or twice a week, because again I don't like my hair to be like oily or sticky, because if the oil is just sitting on top of your hair, there's kind of no use for it. So this is the moment right now, as you guys can see, I'm just putting little lines of oil at the front of my braids and then once it's all down all the braids. I would just rub my finger down all the way, the back to the back of the braid, so that the oil all the way on my scalp - and this just makes your scalp - is really nicely moisturized and hydrated, because you have the conditioner in the water. It will make sure that the rest of your hair stays stays nice and moisturized. So after I do this, I go ahead and give myself a nice little head massage and I don't know who doesn't close their eyes when they do a head massage. It'S literally like involuntary. I cannot help it every single time. I do a head massage. I close my eyes cuz, it's so relaxing and it stimulates hair growth and it spreads the product around. So guys, if you don't do head massages that often at least when you're oil, your hair, really try to do a head massage, because trust me. It will really help and you will see results because stimulating your scalp stimulates hair growth, and that is the end of the video. As you guys can see. My wig looks oh nice and flat, and my hair, underneath is nice and moisturized, so make sure when you're making your weave look this good. The hair underneath is also taken care of.
