How to grow long natural hair with wigs! The wig I'm wearing in this video is a Kylie Jenner inspired wig from EvaWigs (link below) I really owe it to wigs for helping my hair grow 12 inches in the last year. My hair has literally never been this long before. I redo my braids once a week to keep my hair super moisturized. This routine is super fast and easy to do with minimal styling and products. Hey guys, it's Darcy, and today I'm showing you guys exactly how I take care of all this natural hair under my wigs. This is a lot of hair, as you can see, and trying to get all of this under a wig and have it look flat and not bulky and crazy is a little bit difficult. But I've managed to get it down to a point where my hair actually lays flat under my wigs. So let's get started we're going to jump into of the shower here. Welcome once again to my shower, where I do things naked, just not right now. First obvious reason: YouTube would be, would shut me down, so this is actually really easy and it pretty similar to my washing go routine except I use less product. So first thing I'm going to do is a wet down. My hair make sure your hair is super. Super saturated, then, I'm going to use the diva curl lowpoo, which is similar to the no poo, but it is a little bit stronger. So I like to use gels and oils in my hair, so I really is something that's going to get it out. So, as you can see, this does set up a little bit, but not as much as a regular shampoo and it's definitely not going to dry out your hair either, which is why I really love the diva curl, no couth and low poos. So if you guys, I haven't tried those definitely check them out, so I'm just rinsing this out thoroughly. You definitely don't want to leave any sort of cleanser in your hair, and I like to scrub my scalp. While the water is running over it. This really gets the scalp clean moving on to my diva curl or one condition or white wasting product anyways. I put a ton of this in my hair, like I do with all of my conditioners, if you feel like you're conditioning your hair, but your hair doesn't feel moisturized, then you're, probably not using enough conditioner. I have a lot of a hair, which means a hell of a lot of conditioner. Then I'm going to take my tangle teezer and do a pretty rough detangle. My hair rough isn't not thorough, not rough. As in like hard, then I'm going to section my hair and do the real detangling I like to pre detangle. Is that a thing I don't know? I think I just made that up, but doing that little rough detangling makes it a lot easier. When I do the actual detangling in sections right now, I like to braid my hair in the shower. It'S just a lot easier, I'm already there so water there. The products are there. Why not and I'm not doing cornrows, so I don't get a mirror to see what I'm doing, even though I do have mirror in front of me. What, if you guys noticed, I don't braid all the way down to my hair, I just kind of like twist. It up and feel like a little curl, and I find that that leave the hair or leave the ends a lot more moisturize than if I were to braid it all the way down. On the braids on the top I like to braid them as tightly as I possibly can just so they really lay flat on my head and I try to braid in a backward motion. If that makes sense, you don't want your hands to be in front of your face, while you're braiding just try to place your hands going towards the back of your head as you're braiding. Okay, so I usually let these dry before the sake of this video, I'm going to do it now, I'm just going to take my hair and put it in like a low bun with an elastic and, as you can see, I'm just like tucking the end in There and that's really all I do a lot of people like to pin their braids to the sides, our hair, but ain't, nobody got time for that. Sorry! So that's what I do. This wig is a gorgeous blonde wig from Eva's wigs. It'S absolutely stunning!
