Boiling My Hair? How To Maintain Revive Old Hair Or Wig To Brand New Ft Quick Hair Dryer!

So do you miss having your hair bone straight and silky and laid well? This is my hair last year and now this is what I'm stuck with so yeah we're 12 months in with this wig, and I can barely run my hands through it. It'S really gummy and sticky and matting after a while, of course, wearing it a lot. So today, I'm going to show you guys how to bring your weave back to life and I'm going to show you guys every single step to get your hair back poppin for the summer. So first I'm going to start with using a clarifying shampoo. This is essential. You have to have this in order to revamp any of your hair or extensions or wigs or whatever, I'm just watching the hair and stripping it from all of its oils and dirty residue and everything like that, and then I'm gon na move to conditioning now you Could do like a pre-conditioner at this point, but trust me the trick that I'm gon na show you guys is the teeth. Now I'm highlighting this part because I actually got the entire spandex storm cap wet, which you guys know, takes a long time to get dry, but the special tool that I'm using today focuses on making the drying process much easier and quicker, so stay tuned. For that. So for the conditioning part I'm using the manuka honey, hydrate and repair protein power treatment by shea moisture and the ever straightening brazilian keratin conditioner from organics i'm using both of these products, because they both focus on strengthening your hair, hydrating, your hair, moisturizing, your hair and Adding the silkiness to it, especially the conditioner that i'm using so you can do both of those as like a pre-poo if you want it to run up before I washed it, but I just chose to put it in the pot. Stir it up a little bit and actually cook and boil my hair, so this is part two of the trick. I mean you can boil your hair anyway, but a lot of gurus like to use the silicon mix and I feel like you don't have to have that. All you really need is a really really good conditioner and maybe like a treatment cream or something like that. So these are the two drugstore products that I choose to use and you can see that it's silky it's much straighter. It feels really really soft inside, like I had to use a port because it got really hot yeah. This is what will do the trick for you, so this is the tool that I'm using. This is the featured product of this video. This is a new tool that is specifically designed for hair pieces and wigs, and it helps to maintain the look and the function of the wigs and to keep it for a longer amount of time. Now this is the base, you just pull the flap down and it just completely stays dirty in place. So this is gon na help with drying your units, in, I guess, hanging them to dry or just using a dryer to do it quicker. So the top piece you just basically pull the two latches together, they're already tight, but you can tighten them or loosen them and then put the dryer right below it. So I'm gon na position it. The way that I wanted to have will to be, and it already has holes at the top so that you know the dryer, the heat from the dryer or the air can go straight through there and get to roots of the Whitby's. Which is why I said you know it doesn't matter if you get your spandex dome cap wet. So this is just how I'm gon na position it and you do have to be careful since you, since I do have a lace closure. I didn't want to burn, you know, burn the unit or anything like that, so I just kept it on low pretty much and then I would kind of switch to high, but it did give me like a smoky type of situation at the top. So I I just turned it down to low and I think that'll still get the unit dry quicker and it does get the roots and stuff like that, and so the best thing I like about this tool is that it's very versatile. You can see that I bent it all the way over my sink that helps so much when you're actually trying to do these wigs because they can be a pain. So this is the bottom of it. You see it's really dry and I want to smell it. To see if it was burnt, but it wasn't, the lace was not damaged and this is actually a really good product. I was kind of shocked. I really thought this was like a little scam situation, but it really is an essential tool for wig making and those who just want to take care of their wigs or extensions or what-have-you. So I'm just going to do the rest of the unit drying it like with the paddle or whatever, and you can see that I've bent it straight up, so it is pretty sturdy. Now you can see that the unit is super dry and yes, it only took like 25 minutes to dry it with the roots part. It didn't take me like an extra 15 minutes so altogether about 45 minutes to drop the whole thing, because I had to stop and watch Martin and eat and all that stuff, but the inside was the part that was quickly heated or dried within 10 minutes. So I'm using the silk elements: Mogis Megas: silk: okay, let's not get tongue-tied mega; silk heat protecting spray - and this also is like a silk inning Sheen and I'm also adding the my favorite organic coconut milk. This is what really prevents tangles and matting of your wigs. Even though I don't have that issue anymore, you can honestly see that this looks like a Brazilian Blowout like it looks like a really good blowout, so I'm gon na go ahead and do my basic you know wig routine, on how I made my wigs look natural. I did have some issues with the front of it bonding because yeah I was trying to lean, and I did change my part to the side. So I kind of did too much plucking on the side, but I'm gon na recreate nice baby hairs and fix all of that and I'm gon na straighten it using my flat iron that I just started using from Conair. This is the rainbow titanium flat iron, and I just used this on my natural hair, so go check out that video. If you want to see my still print yes, I'm getting a lot of love for that video and then the rest of it is just. You know history, you guys can see it okay. So now I'm about to apply the shining Jam to my edges and this is a really good edge control. It'S not like the best, but it's like an ice jam that kind of molds my hair into place, and so I just add, like a little bit of mousse to kind of get it to stay in place. So when I've used this edge control, it really works. Really well with making my wig lay flat, like you can kind of see the residue right on the you know, it's like sticking like a gel or a glue almost, but it's not so now. All I'm doing is just combing. My baby hairs from the wig over the top of mine and I'm using my what is this book. I can't remember the color, but this is basically just the concealer or your foundation just to make it. You know blend better and I'm using the moves to kind of get the edges to lay right and stay in place. The mousse is a really good game. Changer, if you really don't have to have all of those gels and all that harmful stuff on your hair. To get your wigs to lay and, of course you can secure it by sewing it down which I'll probably do later, but I'm just adding the final touches to my hair and you can see how well the hair is looking and there's no snags. No, you know matting at the nape nor the top, and it's just looking really good. You know it's looking like a city girl summer here you know, so that's basically it. I just want to show you guys how I get my wig super late. This week is literally a year old and it is snapped back so now it's time to put on my little lip gloss and get cute.
