Which Wig Density Is Right For You?

Looking for a new wig but not sure what density is right for you? Watch this short video with Milano's CEO and Founder Judy Geisinsky as she explains the difference between all Milano's premium processed wig lines and their densities.

Hi today, I'm here to discuss a question that we get asked a lot. What density is good for me and which one should I purchase? I'M gon na go through our line of premium process, wigs in terms of their density, so you can decide which one works best for you now. I just want to tell everyone that none of these Styles have been cut or styled. Of course, we recommend that anytime, a wig is purchased, that it has a cut and a style to it. But in order to compare the densities and to really show you which we feel are the low densities versus the medium densities, we thought it was best to take these wigs out just blow them out all straight, not even to change up the style. So you can get a really good sense of what we're trying to show you. We have something called our princess line. This is our princess short, here's our princess mid, and if you see in comparison, it is a little bit longer and then you have our princess long now. Our princess long is an extra low density. It'S about 40 %, less density than what a normal wig would have. It comes in three different lengths of short the mid and the long, but this is an extra low density and it's a really nice wig when you're looking for that extremely natural look, because it doesn't have that fullness if you're, the type of wig, where that is Removing density from your wig a lot of density, then you should definitely look into the princess line. Here are two great options: if you're looking for a low density wig, it's our ponytail style, the ponytail style looks great. If we ran up and down it's extremely natural and comfortable, this is a 22 inch ponytail low density wig. The ponytail also comes in a 26 inch, which is the longer length low density. It'S a great option for everyday wear. If you're looking for that natural comfortable look here, we have our medium density, wigs when there is a normal, comfortable density on a wig which would mimic what someone would have on their head. It does look the most natural, the medium density, wigs come in different lengths. We have our Victoria, which is a 14 inch. We have our reefs, which is a 22 inch. We have our Giselle, which is a 24 inch, and we have our amber, which is a 20, since they all are medium densities, but have different lengths in terms of the hairstyle to show you in comparison. Here we have a ponytail which is our low density wig, and here we have the reese, which is the medium density wig. If you were looking for a 22 inch wig, what we usually recommend is to go with the low density wig for everyday use, because it will feel more comfortable. Hair does weigh a lot and the lower the density. The more comfortable will be. The fuller wig is more for like a glammed up, look if you're going out in the evening or if you just prefer to have a bowler type of look again. This is our recommendations, but really you need to know what you prefer, what your needs are and what looks best on you here. We have two options of a 26-inch wig, one is a low density and one is a medium density. Our low density is our ponytail, which is a 26 inch finished length now again, when we say finish length and means from crown to the bottom of the last layer. In comparison, we have the amber, which again has the same top layer as well as finished length, but it is a medium density. Wig Milano's recommendation is a low density for an everyday wear and a full body glam with our amber. They both are 26 inches. One is a low density and one is a medium density. I hope you find this video informative, please let us know if there any other topics that you would like us to cover. Our goal is to educate the wig wear and all the options that Milano has to offer. We have something for everyone, it's just understanding what we offer and what your needs are. Once you understand what Milano is about, it makes the wig-wearing experience both fun and exciting. You

Daria S. Pumpkins: I wish y'all had defined what "low density" is. 100%? 120%? 130%?

ValVeda: Thank you. Your educational videos are needed for those of us who will shop your wigs online. It would have been even more helpful if you had gather hair in a pony to help show density difference, or with hair attached to a wig head, run your fingers through it. I would love a video highlighting your textures for Virgin and premium processed hair. I am thinking about a Milano Divine with wavy texture but most everything shown is straight hair. Thank you!

Ramonda Shelton: Amazing video! I had been looking threw lots of other reviews and no one explained density the way you have thanks so much!!!!

In1stPlace: Please define the density percentages. 130% 150% 180% 200% ???

Marilyn Justice: What is the best way to thin a wig, toward the face, I already have - thank you.

Caren Taylor: Thank you for sharing this amazing video, you are so kind,I love your videos, I got the best quality product from newigstyle three days ago

IveGotThis: I ordered a ponytail wig custom colored in a beautiful auburn. The hair was gorgeous but the die was also on the part and it looked really bad. Is that normal if you're dying the hair?

Cåt ll: I'd like someone to explain to me why these non Chinese companies sell wigs way more less natural looking for 3x the price of chineses hair companies. There's NO WAY I'd not buy a Hairvivi wig for buying a Milano wig. Yeah, probably hair is less chemical processed and best quality but they totally scream "I'm a wig", I prefer to pay for a natural look and not long lasting hair that looks like a wig from 3 miles away. Just saying. Thanks for the explanation about density though, it helps.

Mimi Cruz: Ok i still don't understand what did density mean? The thickness??? Or what??? I'm still not sure I don't think you stated it.

Claire Tyan: What wig density is good for you? As she then continues to not say what the wig densities are... And this wig is also low density, yeah and how long is a piece of string?

Pat Aiken: What is the percentages on low and medium

Last Call Ministries: I want the Amber how much is your 26 inch

Kristine: Does 120 % have a fuller look?

Gia Dilan: I would like to know if the light density wigs you are showing ( princess and ponytail ) are handtied? Not if they can be ordered handtied but if the model wigs in this video are wefted or handtied. Thankyou

Keyra Ross: what's 130 denisty??

yvonne o: O
