Hi, I'm Rochelle with Godiva's secret wigs and I'm going to show you how very easy it is to wash our high-quality synthetic wigs yourself. My first suggestion is: hold your wig, just like you would, if you're looking at it and gently brush it to get any knots out and any low-alcohol hairspray that you've used. Remember, don't ever use normal hair spray on your wigs. Now I'm going to immerse it just put it in my sink: hold water only put the stopper in this thing and get the entire wig wet. Remember: cold water only and you never brush a wig when it's wet. Now I'm going to use Godiva's secret, keep it clean shampoo, it's especially formulated to make our wig soft and keep that realistic. Look, I'm blending it on my fingers and I'm just treating the wig like it's expensive lace, lingerie, I'm just squeezing it and turning it. I might add a little more shampoo if I wanted to, and it's very quick it really just takes about a minute. Now I'm going to empty out the dirty water and with cold water again, I'm rinsing the way very well making sure to rinse inside the cap of the wave as well. Now that my wig is rinsed from the shampoo I'm going to put the stopper in leaving just a little water in the basin, and now I'm going to add, keep it sleek conditioner by godiva the secret. These are ten dollars each and they will last about two years. I rub the conditioner all over my fingers and I am just turning the wig with the extra water in the sink. It helps distribute the conditioner all over the wig. It'S really easy and even though your weight looks like a wet rat, don't be afraid, I'm emptying out the water once again cold water, only I'm rinsing the conditioner out of the wig, just gently, squeezing making sure once again to clean and rinse inside your cap. Now my wig is soaking wet, don't be afraid, I'm going to take this over to the shower and we'll continue there hi, I'm in my shower now and my wig is soaking wet. So I'm going to turn the wig upside down and give it three. Nice farm shakes click my heels three times and with a wire hanger, I'm going to put the wire of the hanger right through the wig hang in the shower close the shower and walk away. I hope it doesn't scare anybody if you wash your wig at 6 or 7 o'clock at night. It will be dry in the morning. So good night and I'll see you in the morning and show you how great the swing is going to look hi. I'M Rochelle and it's the next morning after I've dried my wig. I dried it upside down on a wire hanger, and I want to show you how great it looks when it's dry and how I put it on so remember. It was upside down. But if I turn it right-side up, you can already see how it looks great, doesn't it and it's got lift, so let me put it on and show you I'm going to just prepare my hair first. So I'm going to slip my hand back and make a tight little bun in the back with any clean brush. It doesn't have to be a wire brush like this. I'M gently working the ends and brushing the wig. It'S really soft. It smells great because we use Godiva's secret wigs, keep it clean shampoo, keep it sleep conditioner, so you can see I'd give it a little brushing before I put on I'm tucking, my hair in the back, and I like to use my fingers to finish off the Look instead of just brushing it, and so here I am ready to go. I think it looks pretty good and that's how easy it is to draw your wig and go. You have a great hair day, bye,

I buy just $24.00 synthetic wigs with an elastic band. The darker 24" one I have always gets tangles easily so I usually comb it first with a very wide tooth comb, and then I comb through it with a tangle teezer.

GodivasSecretWigs: If you own a beautiful wig, we suggest a shampoo & conditioner made for high quality synthetic fiber like our "Keep It Clean" shampoo and "Keep It Sleek" conditioner on our ite. If you must wash without a wig shampoo, no guarantees how it will turn out, but I suggest watering down whatever you use to keep the detergent and harsh chemicals from damaging your wig. Cold water only, rinse thoroughly. Brush wig out before washing and never comb or brush your wig when it's wet. Rochelle

GodivasSecretWigs: You never want to use regular hairspray on your wigs because the high alcohol level is so drying to the fiber - just like when women use it on their own fine, delicate hair. It's leaves the fiber "crunchy" not good. No guarantees, but I'd suggest you either enjoy it just as it is or wash and conditon with a great wig shampoo/conditioner for synthetic fibers. I can't promise what will happen. Our hairspray is low alcohol and that is always best. Also, use it sparingly...

We always try to make wigs last as long as possible, & we've been using and offering our cleansing products for over 15 years.
