Maintenance Vlog Ft. Yolova Hair | Wig Review | How To Install A Wig Using Bald Cap Method

You know fresh and clean, looking good feeling, good um, just being well groomed and yeah. I will take you guys through that just some details on this hair. This is um a 13x4 body wave um lace, frontal. So it's ear to ear um. It is 26 inches long. I don't know if you guys can see the length. Let me move back inches honey. It'S also got um, some golden highlights in it, so it's naturally brown hair with golden highlights in it. So, let's get right into the video without wasting any more of your time, and the rest of this video will just be my usual vlog style. The way you guys are used to it. I swear it is fun over here and i will see you guys in my next video alright. So, let's get started with the installation. This is the box that it came in and inside the box we have this wig bag and a couple of other items that are inside as well. The wig comes in this plastic packaging. They give us a tweezer for plucking. Our closure and they give us a pair of eyelashes, the wig comes in this plastic and inside the plastic. It comes in a net as well. This hair is 180 density and it's a lace frontal. That'S what the lace looks like just to give you guys um a close-up. It'S also a machine constructed wig, so it's already sewn in as you can see there by machine. It also has four pins that will help you secure the wig to your head and it comes with stripes as well again to help you secure the wig. If it's not tight enough, then you can always use that to adjust it. I'M going to start by bleaching the knot and i'm going to go in with this got to be spray first, this is going to prevent the bleach from seeping through the lace, frontal and actually bleaching the hair. You don't want that to happen, because that will be over bleaching and it just won't look natural, i'm gon na go in with this blonde highlight kit that i got from this game and with the consistency of your mixture, you want to make sure it's a paste. So it doesn't seep through and um bleach your hair as well, so i'm just going to go in and cover the entire closure with the bleach. This is what um it looks like. I left the bleach in for about 10 to 15 minutes. Just keep monitoring it. You'Ll see like the orange-ness and that's when you know it's bleached, and this is what the final product looks like after i had washed it. I did, however, over bleach that area a bit, but it's not too bad um. We can still work with it. So after washing the hair, i did leave the hair in purple shampoo for a bit just to make sure it gets rid of that orange um tone to it, and this is what the hair looked like after i had curled it and we're gon na get started With the installation i need here, my hair dryer, i'm also gon na - be using this wig nuts healer that i got from hair city and obviously i'm gon na need a wig cap and it's best to use a comb that has a red tail as well. So we're going to start by cutting off the excess lace, and you want to do this in a zigzag motion using a razor. You can also use scissors, but i find it a lot easier to use eraser. You want to go in zigzag motions like i'm doing here. This just helps it look a lot more natural than a straight line, and this is how it's supposed to look after you've cut the excess wig off so to get started with the installation. I had already laid down my edges with um some gel just to make sure they are out of the way and i'm gon na pop on my wig cap. I'M also, then gon na cut out the area where my ears are just to make it a lot easier to glue down i'm going to go in with the got to be spray again, and i'm going to spray that along my hairline. You want to spray it on your skin, rather than your hairline, actually just to make sure that your hair doesn't get stuck in the glue. Then i'm gon na hair dry it to make sure that dries. I repeated this step about twice and this is what it looks like once it's dried up and then i'm gon na go in with a pair of scissors and i'm gon na cut off the excess um wig cap this here guys, you don't want, so i don't Want that white line that you see there, so i'm going to go in with the got to be spray again just to melt that area down so you're going to spray um along the line and just hair dry it. So it melts down nicely and you don't see that visible white line, because it will show, through your lace, frontal if you leave it like that, and this is what it looks like at the end. I think i'm i can work with this. It'S not the best, but i can work with it. I'M gon na go in with this nuts healer again, because the wig cap is not the same complexion as my skin i'm going to use. I thought i could use this, but i think i recommend powder. Instead, your foundation powder would work work best, i'm going to go in with the go sponge glue and i'm just going to put a little bit along the edges. I'M also then gon na use my red tail comb just to make sure i spread that out evenly. So it dries down nicely and it's not too thick. I repeated this step about twice and i went in with my hair dryer as well, so once your ghost bond dries up, this is what it looks like it's going to turn transparent and that's what you want before popping on your wig. I then put on my wig and i used this red tail comb just to flatten everything out again and you want to make sure you get rid of any hair, so it doesn't get stuck underneath the lace. Then i went in with this elastic band just to make sure that it's glued down nicely and it dries down nicely as well. You want to give this a few minutes. I think i left it on for about five minutes. I'D say - and it was perfectly glued down right so then everything is glued down. You wanna comb. Everything out make sure you get rid of any hair, that's sticking out and then we're gon na go in with a pair of scissors just to get rid of any excess lace. That is left because you don't want. You want as little lace as possible, um yeah. So it just looks a lot neater and then i'm going to go in with my got to be spray, i'm just going to melt the edges down and again with a hair dryer. So once that is nicely melted down, i'm gon na go in with this alcohol spray and i'm gon na use wipes as well to clean up the area. Just so i don't have any glue that is sticking out and then i'm going to go in with my hula bronzer to color the the lace to color the lace up. And so it looks like that at the end. And then you want to make sure just brush your hair out and get rid of any flyaways use your got to be spray for that and yeah. This is what the final result looks like guys. I love it part of maintenance. Week is definitely the gym. You know just to maintain that body maintain that mind, so i feel nice and um. What'S this refreshed and energized and all of those good stuff, so i'm on my way to the gym. Right now i have um a gravity pilates class at alice lane. It'S five. It'S it's five, two five and um. The class starts at half past five, so yeah i'll make it on time and oh guys, how cute my little mic. I came home from a walk with his nanny and he's like mommy. I brought you a flower and it's like this little. I don't know what these flowers are called, but how sweet yeah anyway, let me head over to um the gym already packing come with me. I'M not really asking we'll get away to a place where we don't [ Applause ] the world in know what we can be life with no distractions. This is what we waited for, take my hand we'll make it somehow we can't miss out. I'M done living life with the lights. I'Ve died with my own doubt. Let'S go today. I am going to get my waxing done, which i desperately need, i'm so here right now. It'S disgusting um, so i'm gon na go, get a wax and then i'm gon na get a pedicure done as well. My feet need serious attention and i'm gon na go with um hubby as per usual. So yeah, that's what we are doing today, we're actually running. Quite late, i need to we need to step out of the house now, but i just want to quickly show you guys what i have on. I have on these um zara high-waisted um skinny jeans um, with a belt on, as you can see there, and then i have on this um tube top that i bought from. Did i get this um from cotton on it's like a ribbed material. I don't know if you guys can see there and then my shoes and my little palm springs bag on my cheek and yeah. Don'T judge my my feet guys because i did just say i am in desperate need of a pedicure. So let's go multiplying. So i'm on my way out to go, get my nails sorted out, and this is what we have on today. So cute um, it's just these sort of like toweling towel material pants with with a crop top and then i'm carrying my little um alveoli, and i have one the same bob that i had on yesterday. So yeah um. It is almost time for my booking. So i'm gon na head on out now see you there [ Applause, ], [ Applause ]. So today i am going to sort out my natural hair, i'm just gon na wash my hair and then do wig lines, and i just thought i'd show you guys what i have on just this comfortable um leggings with this top that i've got from zara the Leggings are from cotton on and i have on my pair of ez, 500 and yeah, and i'm carrying my um palm springs. Backpack, let's go! This is sandra, oh our our best, ladies in town, the best part, what is nice, hi you're doing a great job? Thank you, [ Applause ], using clarifying shampoo, clarifying shampoo. We need to cleanse the scalp first to out all the dates yes honey and then we go on to the most central things. Are we doing a treatment still yeah, okay living for weekends? Wishing i could take a break from this world running my favorite part of coming to sandra is getting a massage she's. The best like i could literally fall asleep here, so she's just preparing the moisture treatment that we're going to do this is by mizani. So i just mixed moisture treatment. My hydrophils and my care refuse protein and moisture always gives us the best balance. Okay, [ Applause ]. I know protein is very good for the hair yeah. It'S very good. It'S very good question. Let'S make sure you're strong it all. I just wan na be free. Finally, finally, always hey guys on today's agenda is finally waxing. I was actually supposed to go yesterday, but i ended up canceling, my appointment, because i wanted to try using um numbing cream before going in, for my wax at least so. I don't like feel you know the pain of the actual wax, the guy that at the pharmacy, told me that the numbing cream um only works within like an hour after using it. So it wasn't gon na work yesterday because i literally went to clicks right before my appointment and yeah, so i ended up canceling so today i am going today and i used um the numbing cream so about an hour almost an hour ago. So, let's see if it's actually effective, um yeah anyway, i'm not i'm obviously not going to record much um inside the salon or this the waxing booth or whatever, because yeah like waxing is a bit of a personal thing. So yeah, i guess i'll see you guys. Um once i am done, never imagined, so i am back at home from my waxing. I feel fresh and clean um with waxing. I usually go um once a month or it actually depends how hairy i am at that given moment, because sometimes my hair grows faster than other times so yeah it all just depends if um i need to, but generally i usually just go like once a month. Um, i do a full body wax, so i do full legs. Forearms underarms. I do my upper lip and a hollywood as well yeah. So i'm nice and clean very happy about that. So i also forgot to mention how the numbing cream worked out. I still felt pain, i still felt pain, but i think it wasn't as bad as it usually is because i left my hair to grow out um quite long this time around and when i do that those are always the hardest sessions. Because there's a lot of you to pull out and obviously i feel a lot more pain, so i did feel pain, um and vegan. Numbing cream, numbing cream is said to just sort of make things better. It doesn't really like numb the area entirely, so i think it did work slightly. I could still feel pain um, but it worked slightly. I will definitely still use it the next time, because i think it just makes things a little better, so yeah in case you were wondering or wanted to know if the numbing cream helped it did slightly anyway.
