How I Package And Ship My Hair, Wig And Eyelash Orders | Girl Boss Entrepreneur Life

So if those topics interests, you go ahead and subscribe. So today's video is gon na be about how I package and ship my online orders, which includes my hair, bundles, my wigs and my lashes. So I'm gon na be showing you the start to finish process and also telling you where I get all of my packaging materials from so that interests. You make sure you go ahead and stay tuned, and I want to do this video because a lot of people wonder what goes on behind the scenes. So I just wanted to give you guys a scoping to what I do on a day-to-day basis. Cuz I pretty much ship packages Monday through Friday, sometimes on Saturday, so I'm gon na show you from start to finish the whole process of how I get everything ready and then we're also gon na go to the post office. I start with my Shopify back in this is where I'm able to pull up all my orders, and today we have ten orders to ship out. So I'm gon na show you the first how I do the lash order, because we only have one lash order today and then the rest is hair and wigs, so we're gon na do the lashes first. So the first thing I'm gon na do is gather her order. She has tanzanian product, so I'm gon na grab both of those lashes boom boom and we're gon na weigh them. So let's zero that out! This is a scale I got from Amazon. So, as you can see, this weighs two point: one ounces and this scale is by dime. Oh, so you can get one from Amazon as well. I'M gon na drop it in the comment section below so hers way: 2.1 ounces. So we're gon na go ahead and put that in and now we're gon na print the label and then we're gon na print. Her packing slip. Our package, my life, is just a little bit different than i packaged my hair because they're a lot smaller. So what we do is first, we take these black poly mailers that we have, which these just add a little bit more protection. So I'll put the lashes here and these norm these little things normally fit two to four pairs of lashes. So then we settle it up and I already went and got the shipping label in the packing slip from over there. So what we do with these, since we still use these poly mail or since they're so big, what I end up doing is folding them in half okay, so we fold them in half and you add your packing slip, put your shipping label on it. Then you add lashes and it gives you a clean package and that package will look like this, so we're gon na move on to the hair next nice and clean now we're gon na go on to the hair order, and so for her order. She just ordered a 16 inch bundle and with the bundles they come like this, so there are already some taxes up for me. They have our bundle wrap on it. So all we have to do for this so with the bag inaud. That weighs three point: nine ounces. So what we're going to do from here? Skree the label put in the ounces, and this one comes up to two point: seven four as well: we're gon na go ahead and buy the shipping label and we're gon na go ahead and print the packing slip. Okay, so for this next section we're gon na go into I'm gon na show you my start to finish when I started putting the orders together when I started packing them and we're gon na do ten of them, so they might go by a little bit fast, But I'm gon na show you the whole process, okay, so starting off. First, I get all my shipping supplies together. I start with my poly mailers, which I got from Amazon and I'm gon na pull those out the package just to show you how big they are. Well, they have them on here, it's twelve and a half by fifteen and a half so I'll, pull those out and show you those and then with every order. I have shipping bags. So if you get a wig, you have a wig bag and then, if you have bundles, you get a bundle bag and then this is just some shipping pay. So once I get these printed out, I'm going to show you what they actually look like, because this is what I put on the poly mailers. So it's the USPS postage stamp. So I'm going to show you those when I print them out. So this is my printer. I have an HP Officejet Pro 69 78 and this is a Wi-Fi printer. So whenever I'm shipping orders at the store, I usually ship them from the Shopify app on this phone, which is really simple to do and as are your orders here and then we're going to check to make sure we have some paper and then I'm gon na Start printing orders: oh, this is exactly what it does. It pulls up the primary and it gives everything ready which we're not gon na do double-sided, and it's already telling me my ink is low. So hopefully we have enough to get through these orders and then we're gon na select print and don't mind my nails struggling right now, so I'm gon na go ahead and start getting them lined up. So the next step is making sure we have our printer paper and, as you can see, these print to postage is on each side. So you can see, there's a line down the middle, because these are stickers, so I'm gon na go ahead and load these into the printer and show you what they look like once pregnant, which this is actually we put out five first and then we have to Flip them over and then put on another five, so I'm gon na show you how we do that you just take this load. These in load me in upside down and you'll be able to figure that out once you see them and I'm gon na post a link for the Amazon under it. We'Re gon na go ahead and start printing, so this county look for just them on one side. So we're gon na actually take this and flip them over, so we can get them printed on the other side and that's how they look with the shipping labels on both sides - nice and simple, until we run out of these - and we are done with these - so I'M going to move these out the way, and now we are going to focus on slide these here and we're going to do three at a time in this final section, I'm taking the packing slips and placing them on top of each order, and then I'm going To place the bags on top of those orders right before I go, get their bundles or wigs, and then we're going to go ahead and stuff the packages and get them shipped out.
