How To Braid Your Hair Underneath A Wig!

Everyone welcome back to my channel so today, I'm being you guys, a video just for those of you who are new to wigs and wearing wigs and you've been trying to figure it out, but you don't really know yet how to do it. Specifically in this video I'll be showing you guys how I braid all of my hair underneath a wig. So I've been getting a lot of questions about that lately and I wanted to definitely do a video um, showing you guys exactly how I braid my hair and how what pattern and all that kind of stuff that I do to tuck in my hair, underneath, like A wig cap to wear underneath a Leo first. I want to talk about the wig that I'll be wearing in this video, so I'm going to actually restyle it and everything, but this is the wake straight out of the box, and so it came a little bit. Curled, but it's been out of the box for a couple days, so it's lost a bit of the curl, but when I first pulled it out, it actually was pretty curled still, and so it's actually standing on this plastic stand. That came with the wig, which is different than our PG show, so RPD show usually gives you like a brush a couple weight caps and lashing like that lashes once uhm so yeah. They give you kind of just that, but with the my first wig calm, they actually give you a lot of the staple things that you need when you first take it a wig, and so that's one of the things that came what it came with this Dan, Which, i think is genius, because if you were spending over $ 300 or whatever it is on a twig, you want to take care of it. It is definitely an investment. Believe me, I know so having this band is perfect because you can just set it up. Take it off put it on there. If you need to do anything with the hair, you can really like let it sit and be on its own and not get matted and out drawer, or anything like that when you haven't stand like this, which is really great, and then it comes in this box. Here like this, and it's really cute sleek black box and it like, I said it comes with a kind of like your staples of stuff. So the first thing in here is instruction, so this little pamphlet really shows you kind of like a step by step. How to apply the wig out of lace very nicely. It also shows you everything that actually comes with the way in here. So like it says in the pamphlet you get. The stand. You'Ll also get a little pouch like this, and I put everything in this little pouch cos. It can all fit in here. You'Ll get a wig cap pack, so it comes with two weight caps. I actually like to wear two of these at the same time, and I again to just um really pack in my hair, so I'll show you guys later in the video that part. It comes with a little car telling you exactly what weight you have and how many inches it is, and all that kind of stuff. So this week, that I have is 20 inches is a silky texture and it has a coolest lace cap and it is Malaysian hair. So it's like a sexy ombre is what it's called. It'S like a wine on bright color, which is really in season right now. So it's super cute and will be even cuter once it's styled and on my head, and so you also get a rat tail comb in here. You get two clips for sectioning your hair and then you also get some bobby pins. So it's really cute. They really got a kind of like what are the basic things. Did you need when you work in a wig and those are definitely the basics? The only thing in here that you would need to fix your wig is tweezers. Definitely would recommend tweezers because you want to thin up the hair at the hairline to make it look more natural and then also an elastic band. So a lot of wigs are really generic and sizing. So there are adjustable straps on this lid, but I find that even make a way to make it even tighter on your hair. Really really lay flat without glue or anything is to add an elastic band around the perimeter. And so it really stays on your head, and so you can find the lesson. Bands like anywhere like Walmart, Target any kind of convenience store and just sew it onto the width. There are tons and tons of videos doing that on YouTube, so go ahead YouTube. It right now see how it works, but that's what I've done to a couple of my wigs and I'll, probably not doing that to this week too, because I just like it feeling really really snug on my head. Like that's, the worst thing is like you, don't want your wig move around when you're moving around so yeah, but outside of that really, if you're just trying to get something quick - and you don't have our last event, it's not that big of an issue. This will still be snug on your head. It'S just like that. Extra secure, nough set a lot of us like with wigs that elastic band really does help you, so it also comes the actual weight itself comes in this pack like this, and I love this because when I have gotten the other, wigs and RPG show to they. Only put the wig in a plastic ziplock bag which I'm like okay, if you're spending $ 300 on a wig, you want a packaging. That'S really going to help. Keep the wig fresh and just well kept um over time, because it is Smith, so this bag right here is such a better bag than the plastic, that's at any other business or company that I've used use it. I really like this, so I hope our PG show you guys switch over to these for the RPG show weeks two, because this packaging is great. It has a zip on it. It'S airtight and really will keep your wig lasting a long time. So I really like that about the my first wig this wig on, because, honestly, the wig is not different, much different than the quality of way that's on our PG show. But this right here and the basics is really great for people out there who are new to wigs. So I'm going to go ahead and take my hair down and start show you guys how to braid it up and then I will come back with the finished. Look, I am going to style this, I think, with a wand, curl it or something something cute for you guys so yeah stay tuned to this video. If you want to see how to braid your hair tons of your hair under okay, so my hair is all bright it up, and you guys this random one right here, like I braided my hair into these two parts, so don't mind that it's fine, like you Do not have to be perfect with this braiding process as long as the top is flat like this is the most important part that this part is flat, so I'm going to just start pinning this these braids up and then I can put on the wig cap. Okay, so both week, caps are on I'm leaving a little bit go behind here, because I'm gon na pull some of my baby hairs out to make it look a little bit more natural and then I'm gon na use my hairline to kind of guide me. How much hair to pluck and all that kind of stuff and where I want my part and everything so I'm going to go ahead and cut off the knot, cut off this lace part here, so you guys can see the clips in there. So I can secure it on my hair and then the adjustable strap down here and then I'll also use. These are some really good bobby pins like these are like tight. I can feel them on my hair now, so this will be good to secure like the sides and stuff like that too. If they're not tight enough, so yeah I'm gon na go ahead and do that and come back. So this is the final look. The hair is styled. I just did some really soft waves with my wands curler, just to give it a reinforce like the body wave, because it came as like a body wave and I'm loving this way. It'S super pretty. The hair was really easy to curl and it's super soft and voluminous and everything so I'll put all the deets on this wig down below, but I hope you guys enjoyed this video.
