How I Do My Long Hair Before Swimming

Two ways I style my hair so it does not get wet when swimming! I have thick, long hair, and I'm sure both styles will work as long as you have enough hair to braid!

Have short hair? I made a short hair swim video as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3NwqK...

I put out new videos every Tuesday and Thursday! Check out my blog at http://www.kitty-ears.com

Hey guys today, i'm going to show you two different ways to style your hair before swimming my husband and i love to swim. It'S really good for exercise. However, i hate to get my hair wet. I don't like the way chlorine feels in my hair. I don't like the texture of my hair when i get chlorine in it, so i make sure to get all of my hair off of my back and neck and everywhere so it doesn't get wet. There are two ways that i style my hair before swimming. For way number one you're just going to need a handful of bobby pins for way number two you're going to need a hair scrunchie and one of these. The first way i style my hair is kind of a fake dutch braid. So what you're going to do is part your hair into two sections, make a kind of high ponytail with one hand, and then braid this until the very end after you braid it down to the very end. All you're going to do is flip this up. On top of your head like this and pin it down right here after you've securely pinned down this we're going to make another high ponytail with this side of your hair and braiding. Now flip this side over the other side and around the back and pin this bridge the other brick and it may kind of stick up funny in some areas. But this is how i wear my hair swimming to get everything off the back of my hands. I don't really worry about how it looks. I just braid pin and go the second way. I arrange my hair before swimming. I use one of these headbands. It'S like a elastic stretchy band. So what i do is i put this on my neck. You want to make sure the pinched part is formed now braid, all of your hair into one long, braid right down your back, secure the end of your hair with a hair elastic and then pull this up. Now. What i'm going to do is fold this sideways and just simply pull the headband over it. You can just continue to tuck it in and then sometimes you need to pull this downwards. There you go. Your hair is completely out of the way, even if it does look slightly ridiculous. So how do you secure your hair when swimming? If you have any other suggestions, let me know i'm always looking for new ways. Bye, you

Katie Adler: I usual don't secure my hair haha! It gets all funky feeling so I just take a shower after. If I do secure it, I just brush it all up into one pony tail and make it into a bun.

Puppy Lover: I usually dont do anything special to my hair for swimming at the neighborhood pool i just braid it leave it down or bun or ponytail....
