Hello and welcome back so we are doing things a little bit differently today, Daniel and I were invited to a friend's house to go swim in the pool, and so I'm gon na go over with you. What I do in the summer to protect my hair. When I am swimming and out in the Sun, keep watching I'm gon na show you what I do and why and really quick if you haven't already slammed that subscribe button, what are you waiting for go hit it hit that bell, while you're at it. I do not want you to miss a thing: let's go alright, so we are in the pool. As you can see, I have not gotten my hair wet. I am going to show you what I do in the summer to protect my hair against chlorine and the Sun. So all you need is a water bottle or access to a shower with clean water, a conditioner I'm going to use curls blueberry, bliss, reparative leave-in, and you need an oil that provides SPF protection. I'M going to use righteous roots, hair rx, actually going to use some info that my friend angel provided on Instagram. I am going to link him below. He did a pretty detailed post about righteous roots. There are quite a few oils within the righteous roots, hair rx of that provide protection from the Sun, coconut oil, olive oil, avocado oil, grapeseed oil, peppermint oil, jojoba oil, just to name a few. They all have different SPF levels. I'Ll include that in the description below ok, so the very first thing that you need to do is you need to get your hair wet. The last thing that you want to happen is chlorine to be the first thing that touches your hair. The reason you get it wet is because your hair will absorb clean water first and it will make it less likely to absorb the chemically treated water. I'M literally just going to pour this over my head, make sure your hair is nice and wet. Give it a good couple squeezes to force that water in and then we're gon na go in with the conditioner. You can use any conditioner a leave-in, a deep conditioner, it's up to you, so this just adds an additional layer of protection against the Sun, as well as the chlorine and also adds a bit of hydration I'll make sure to rake through whatever conditioner that you use To make sure that it really gets an at all of your hair is saturated, and then what I like to do is I like to go with one final layer. Remember, in this case, there's can't be too much final layers, so we are going to seal with oil. So not only is this going to seal our hair, which is going to repel the most water, but it also is adding the most legal Rey protections. So I'm going to be pretty heavy-handed, I'm going to start in my ends and that is it easy-peasy and you'll. Have your hair protected all summer just make sure, as soon as you are done, swimming to rinse your hair with clean water as soon as possible and use a very, very gentle shampoo, if not even a co-wash, when washing just to make sure that you're not doing Any extra damage to your hair, so there you have a protection from the Sun and chlorine or anything that's in that water all summer long hope you like this video.
