Forget About Sex-Let'S Talk About Hair

by Frances Cole Jones

All right, so everybody knows the whole. Let'S talk about sex thing. I want to drop that and let's talk about hair because, surprisingly enough, it comes up so much when I'm working with clients, it seems to me very often the people are more concerned about their hair. Then about what they're going to say, so I know talk to the person who deals with my hair, because I don't really understand my hair. I out sourced it, and - and we came up with the following three ideas - that we wanted you to know about um, curly or straight. This seems to be a big conversation. What I have discovered is that there are certain professions, finance business, consulting strategic, anything where they feel more comfortable. If I have straight hair, it just makes them feel like I'm more in control of my information, so do with that, what you will? The second question is up is up or down. This seems to be a big one. I don't care really what you do. What I want is, I want it out of your face. I'M sorry if I sound like your mother right now, but when it's in your face it drives us crazy, so get it out other than that um. The only other thing is, if you're feeling like you look young for the job, then putting your hair up is automatically going to make you look a little bit older and certainly tying it up and keeping it very controlled is going to be better for those controlled Professions again, the finance, the business, consulting telecommunications, finally long or short um. I cut my hair off because I couldn't deal with it uh. The idea here is, I don't care again if it's long or short, as long as it has a style. What I don't want is to feel, like you, have a haircut that you had in college and you've just never dealt with it and with like a quick Superman change in a telephone booth, you could be serving chicken wings and beer in, like any college town anywhere. Usa, I hope this is helpful.
