✅ How To Fix Loose Man Bun Bits That Don'T Fit (Into Your Man Bun...)

Today’s video is a rather different type of man bun tutorial and here’s why... In the last Q&A that I did, I had somebody by the user name of Snonshy, asked about these things that dangle beside your ear and can't fit into your man bun properly.

And I was like, what's that even look like? Like what is he trying to explain here? Is this some kind of man bun haircut problem I’ve never heard of? Is there some new range of unflattering man bun styles I don’t know about? I was a little confused haha.

And then I got him to send through a photo of his man bun to illustrate exactly what he meant and then it all finally made sense haha, and the image actually contained these dangly bits of hair that actually float behind your ears.

Apparently these loose man bun bits seem to bother a lot of you, as Snoshy’s question had quite a few likes on it and I do indeed have the perfect fix for it!.

For me personally, I never even worry about tucking this away. I kind of just put it behind my ear, and off I go on my merry way. I don't really care too much about it.

But I also thought that if it's important to you guys, then I actually definitely do have a solution for it andthat’s what I’m going to run you through today.

All I use to fix this problem quickly and easily is bobby pins... I know a lot of guys probably feel a little bit weird about bobby pins, but if you’ve seen a mens long hair tutorial from me before, you’ll know that I use bobby pins religiously to tidy up my hairstyles.

So even if you think that they're just a girl's thing, think again! Because they are the perfect tool for achieving the perfect man bun.

The method is a little difficult to explain via the written word which is exactly why I made a video out of this but hopefully with any luck you’ll find this man bun tutorial extremely useful and will never have to worry about those pesky pieces of hair that just don’t fit into your bun.

Please let me know if you try this out as I’m ken to hear how you went with it..

Thank you so much for coming to watch and always your feedback is most certainly welcome :)

Yours in good hair,

Thomas

( victorious music, ), Hello, everybody and welcome back to my channel.. My name is Tom if you're brand, new or Thomas, if you're brand new and I make style, related videos every single week.. So if that's you're kind of thing make sure you hit the subscribe button and come back and visit me every single week., So in this video today ho This one was so difficult for me to label. In the last Q & A that I did. I had somebody, I can't remember their name: I'm gon na insert their name here.. They were talking about these things that dangle beside your ear and can't fit into your man, bun. And the written form of the question. I was like. What'S that even look like Like what are they trying to explain here And then I got him to send through a photo and the image actually contained like just these you've got these dangly bits that actually float behind your ears. Now this piece here this is literally Just for show'cause this bits actually long enough to fit into my man bun., But things like this apparently bother a lot of you. Now for me personally, I never even worry about tucking this away., I kind of just put it behind my ear and off I go On my merry way., I don't give two shits about it., But if it's important to you guys, then I actually definitely do have a solution for this and I'm showing it right. Here.. These are bobby pins and that's literally, all I'm gon na use to pin them in.. I know a lot of you probably feel a little bit weird about bobby pins too.. You maybe think that they're just a girl's thing, but really when they've got a man bun you're, like is a hair, tie a girl's thing. No, because we use them for our buns right, The same with bobby pins and they really help tidy up a hairstyle.. So I'm just gon na show you how I would slot these in and seamlessly disguise them. So you can't even see that you're wearing a bobby pin, but you can still get rid of the straggly bits that hang out.. I think that's what we're gon na call them like loose stragglers that don't fit in your man, bun, okay And yeah. It'S very, very simple, very straight forward.! It'S not rocket science. And without further ado we're gon na get into it.. I am gon na be doing. I'M doing a video later today about how to do flyaways. So if you see my little spiky bits, we've got a solution for that., So make sure you subscribe and stay tuned., But for the most part, let's get fixing these stragglers., So I'm actually gon na. Do these guys here, like these ones that are really prominent and stick out, I'm gon na do them last. And I'm we're actually gon na deal with this longer piece.. So let's say I tie my man bun and I was like shit. I really like how the bun looks, but I don't wan na take the whole man bun out., There's a very simple way to fix., So this one I would literally just grab all the hair and probably put a little bit of flaxseed gel or something on it. But grab them all, actually pull it back towards the bun and just grab a pin and tuck him in.. Now, because my bun is so frilly, you can't even really see that I'm wearing a pin in it. So that actually solves the longer ones that you accidentally. Don'T get into your bun okay, But now for these guys, like these hairs literally, you can see them. They're, just not long enough to go up into my bun and there's no way in hell that I'm actually gon na tie it up. So unless I intertwine it with my hair creatively, which I'm not gon na, do or tuck it behind my ear, there's no other real way that I can deal with it seamlessly other than a bobby pin.. So again, what I'm really gon na do. I'M gon na make sure I grab the whole piece like this., (, tisks, ), Probably twist them around a little bit just so I can make sure I get all the hairs and those little bits that really prong out on me and then what I'm literally gon Na do I'm gon na get my teeth, make sure the crinkly bit is facing you'cause the crinkly bit's, what's meant to go along your scalp and then I will literally attach the hair like this, and you can see that. I've just kind of like pinned the hair In and then what I'm gon na do is I'm gon na pull it back and find a spot under here I lift this hair up and then slip my pin onto my scalp line and keep moving it back until that little tip of the hair is gone. And then we're just gon na literally grab the pieces of hair that I had over the top and disguise it over the top there. Kimbo. Can you just have a look for me? Can you actually see the pin at all Actually in real life, No. See Kim can't even see it.? That'S literally it.. Now, like my ear, I think just like there might be little hairs that you just can't rid of, but the actual long hairs that just won't fit into the bun. That'S gon na be your best bet to do it., And that is literally how simple it needs to be so you need to go and buy yourself. Some bobby pins, and literally all I did - was lift a bit of this hair up slide the pin in pull it back over seamless. Gone. Would you look at that. And bobby pins? Aren'T expensive either., Like I picked these up from the supermarket, for, like, I think, $ 4.50, or something like that. Very, very cheap.. It'S not a bad thing to have in your arsenal really because it just helps tidy up hairdos and when you have stragglers exactly like what I just showed you, you can pin them in and hide them without anybody even noticing.. I hope that solves a lot of the problems that you guys are having with your straggler pieces. Do stay tuned for more videos, though, because we are going to talk about flyaways and getting rid of these.. I'Ve got this brand new method that I've just discovered that I think is gon na work really well.. I haven't tried it yet and I wanted to wait and do it from the video'cause. I already do have my own method for dealing with flyaways, but this method seems like it's gon na work really well. So make sure you stay tuned for that.. If the video's already out it'll be up in the cards - and I hope you find that quick, informative and easy. Until next week I'll see you later., Please remember to hit the thumbs up button. If you enjoyed this video and I'll catch you next week for another one. Goodbye. ( thunder clapping ), And that is another video in the bag. Kimbo, we got it.. If people get to this far in the video, they should definitely watch another one right. You can click up here for previous videos that I've done or you can click here to subscribe to my channel, which you should already be subscribed by the way.. Look a video. Where'd. It go. JD D: Thanks, this gets in the way when I'm giving bjs, I know you can relate Thomas.

Ethan Park: Love your videos man, currently 2 months into my hair growth and taking a photo everyday. Hope you still uploading hair videos when I get this time lapse out. Keep up the good work

Jordan Willett: Great tips! I just did a 14 month update. Finally getting to the bun status haha.

Joe Zuccardo: Hello Thomas, the way I took care of this is I don't tie my my hair up in a man bun or a pony-tail any more & I let it all hang out I do love your videos Thanks

Drew Red: I somehow have the same problem, but mine is drastically shorter from the side going from an undercut.. I use wax but doesn't last long.. Pins won't work cause it won't connect properly with longer hair hence the length difference. Sides about 3-4 inches but fringe is shoulder length.. Most the times i put it in a mid to low bun, then just use a small amount of wax and pray to batman it last the whole day! Lol! Great video idea by the way

Steve O: I don’t know why I’m watching this lol my hair can’t be tied up yet. About 9 months into growing my curly/wavy hair from a buzzcut. The journey is tough but we must persist!

ImDanett: My lose hair bits are a little less than an inch in length so this really helps because they keep curling into my ears and it's super irritating.

sandiegocalifornia: I must say bobby pins may be okay with dark hair but don't look good with blond hair. I prefer to apply some flax seed gel (which also moisturize the hair). Works for flyaways too.

tell them they can take that bu**shit elsewhere: Thank you very much for this video:)

Zahir Zaman: I ain’t watched your videos for looonggg. I remember watching em when you were at 5k subs. You’ve come a long way brother and that bun is so peng now keep smashing it! I see a million of us before the end of 2020

uwazzin: hey thomas! been watchcing you for so long, thanks for alll the tips and trick to help my journey growing out my hair :) (9 months)

Carlos Corvera: Just got my 2 year growth trimmed but only an inch off the back and and a low undercut lol can’t wait to keep growing it out

Enzo: Yeeeeesssss, finally a video on flyaways. My hair is 20 months long and i always miss some hairs.

The Brick Lord: I need this cus I have so many Baby hair's that just stick up everywhere

MattSowi: Thats a cool thing because i love the low pony and when my undercut grows out i will utilize this heavily

Kadi: I've been watching your videos for over a month, and I just realized that I'm not subscribed! Don't worry I fixed that :)

Aeoteroa: I'm about to just get my sides faded. I have some around my hairline that seem like they'll never be long enough to be put up with the rest of my hair and I'm about to just cut them. Tired of hair sticking up right on my hairline every time I put my hair up (every fuckin day lol)

Adam Daichendt: Tuck them back into the Tightly restraint hair? Sometimes Works.

Mathias Vibeto: I don't know why... i just realized your teeths are pearls!

GUY guy: Question....how does your hairline not recede from tying your hair so much...ive seen so many womens hairline that arent straight and messed up looking...idk if its because of them tying their hair too much or not...but i believe so...

Buttercup Chump: Dope hair but where did you get that shirt??

فنّ صناعةِ الواقع: thanks alot

matthi _96: and what is with blond hair on that you still see the pins
