A lot of you have asked me how I do my hair, so today we're gon na do a tutorial on pink curling and how to do a rosie, the riveter themed material, I'm Kirsten Dunn - and this is done me - I wan na start with dry hair and Begin to section off pieces of hair spritz, each section as you go for an elevated, pink curl you'll want to take a section of your hair and hold it straight up in the air, starting at the end, wrap the hair around your fingers now turn the curl Down towards the scalp wrapping the rest of the section of hair into the corner finish the curl by clipping in place with an alligator hair clip for the flat pin curl, take a section of your hair and hold it angled close to the head, wrap your hair Around one or two fingers and curl, like you, did the elevated, thin curl so pin curls can have lots of different set patterns depending on the hairstyle that you're going for and for this just simple curled look. All of my pin curls are curling under, which means all the ones on the right side of my head are curling counterclockwise and all the ones on the left side of my head are curling clockwise and where they meet in the back, it doesn't really matter which Way they go just whatever feels most comfortable once all of your pin curls are in place it's time to let them dry. I like to leave my pin curls in overnight and sleep on them now that the curls are completely dry, it's time to start taking them out, unclip the pin curls two and three at a time and brush out as you go using your hand as a guide To keep the curls from frizzing run your fingers through the curls to create more bounce. For my everyday look, I usually stop here, but now we're going to continue to get a rosie. The riveter look. Now that I have all of my curls in place. I'M gon na get started on Rosie's hair, so I'm gon na make a part and section off the front of my hair just in front of my ear, pin back the rest to keep it out of your way, take different sections of hair and form elevated pin, Curls in an abstract pattern, don't make the sides match but keep the general shape even to finish off the look we tied on a scarf and pinned it in place. This hairstyle is definitely an art form. It'S taken me years to perfect it, but I can say with confidence that it gets easier with practice. You
