Hello welcome back to address tutorials. First of all, let me just say sorry that I didn't upload a video last week um if you're following my facebook page, you know I was helping a friend move and that turned out to take the entire weekend. So I just didn't manage to squeeze in any filming time. I really had hoped that maybe one of the evenings, I would have had time to do it, but work was pretty hectic and I was tired when I got home and to be frank I I just didn't feel like it. So I'm sorry I missed the week, but I'm back this week and I wanted to show you three ways you can put up your hair with a stick: a hair stick a chopstick or a pencil or even, if you're, in a pinch, a stick. You pick up off the ground, it helps if it stick a somewhat tapered butt, but besides that, you can use pretty much any kind of stick and the reason I have been sort of experimenting with this is because I got this hair stick from a friend. For my birthday, all these hairstyles are probably easier if your hair is a little bit longer than mine, but as you can see, I can do it on my hair and my hair. It'S not all that long, so it can be done, but it's probably a bit neater if you do have a bit longer hair. The first way I'm going to show you is a twist on a French twist. Now, let's get started. What you want to do is, of course, brush out your hair and then just gather your hair together at the back, and what I'm going to do. I'M going to do is grab my hair like a ponytail and then, with my other hand, create a twist and then just keep twisting make sure you tuck the ends in here. I graph heuristic, starting with the top pointing downwards moving over and down diagonally into that twist, and what I love about his hair size with sticks is that what you pull out you can just like, under your hair, completely like in one go all right. That was number one. The second one is a actual sort of knot for this. I'M going to use a pencil because I tried it with my hair stick, but my hair keeps getting tangled over these things, because it's just that little bit too short for this. So I'm going to do this with a pencil. This one is a bit trickier to do in half long here, but again gather your hair at the back. You can do this low on your head or higher on your head. That'S up to you and grab your pencil place that over that ponytail and twist your hair around it once like so hold the net end bit here now: move your pencil, 90 degrees upwards and a little bit further, and then twist it scraping your scalp with tip Up and down and while you're moving it down, go further towards 3 o'clock and have it stick out over this tail bit here and if you have short hair like mine, you may want to see if you can dip your pencil one more time underneath the hair. Here that will secure those end bits and make it nice and sturdy see, nobody's shorter layers do want to pop out, so I'm just going to let them so that is what that looks like secure with one pencil now, if you use two chopsticks, this is even More secure, but this will definitely stay. It'S pretty pretty solidly some frizz for this final chopstick hair updo. What we need is a little bit of cheating, a little small, clear elastic in addition to our stick and what I'm going to do is first of all divide. My hair into three sections and make a normal three-strand braid and take a little clear elastic, tie that braid off nice and secure and then talk on your break to make braids to make it extra voluminous then bring it up and tuck the ends under like so Now, grab your hair stick and start here at the top, with the accessory down. Stick it in and move it over scraping this cup grabbing a bit from the braid and a bit from the bottom of your hair and sort of weave it in and out, and that's what that looks like, and that is a final way to put up our Hair with a chopstick or a hair stick or pencil. I really hope you enjoyed this 3-way hair tutorial and you give my video a thumbs up. If you did, please subscribe to my channel and check out my social media - and I hope to see you next week - bye everyone, whoops ablator,
