Hello youtubers today, I'm going to show you my very first hair tutorial ever I hope you like it, I'm going to show you how to do Chinese bun and four variations. Oh yes, four! So five different styles of the Chinese bun, the Chinese bun, is a very quick and easy style that looks very sophisticated and you're going to use a hair stick or chopstick. First gather all your hair and tie it into a ponytail. Here I'm doing a low ponytail, but you can do a high one too. I will show you the difference later then take your hair stick or chopstick and place it behind your elastic band. Divide your ponytail into two equal strands place them underneath the hair stick and go upward then cross the two two sections and twirl it a little. So it's easier to go underneath your hair, stick again in the bottom cross the strands again and do the exact same steps over and over again so go up again. Cross twirl go down cross twirl go up! Do this until you run out of hair and then tuck the ends underneath your bun secured into place with u-shaped, pins or screws, the twirling part is up, it's not necessary, it's optional, but the reason I do that is because it makes it easier to go underneath The hair stick: if you don't do that, then you will get caught on there. Sick voila classy huh, and this is what it looks like when you start with a high ponytail again, we start with the ponytail and we place our hair. Stick underneath the elastic divide, the ponytail into two equal strands and go over the hair. Stick cross-sections in the bottom and then go underneath the hair. Stick upward cross again and repeat the same steps over and over until you run out of hair. Once you run out of hair, just tuck the ends under your bun secure in place with u-shaped, pins or screws, and there we have our first variation, and this is what the first variation looks like when you start with a high ponytail start with the ponytail and Place your hair stick underneath the elastic band divide your ponytail into two strands and go under the hair: stick upward, cross the sections and then go underneath the hair stick again. Instead of crossing again just get another elastic band and tie into place. Now you have a half updo, a Chinese bun and the ponytail. This is my own variation that I think no one else has come up with yet, and this is what it looks like when starting from a high ponytail you again, we start with a ponytail and a hair. Stick underneath a rubber band. We divide a ponytail into two equal pieces and go over to hair stick and then underneath crossing the two sections in the bottom, going upward, underneath the hair stick again crossing the hair going down and then tying it together. This is a reversed version of the previous bun, and now we have a shorter ponytail. It also looks pretty good when you use a high ponytail. You usually we start with the ponytail and our hair. Stick underneath the elastic band we take the entire ponytail go under the hair. Stick on the right side, then go over the hair stick and underneath it on the left side, wrap the rest of the ponytail around the bun tuck the ends underneath the bun secure with u-shaped, pins or screws. This is the Chinese figure-eight bun when done with high ponytail. I hope this video is helpful to you if you liked it please subscribe and give it a thumbs up. I will do more hair tutorials in the future, but the next video will probably be a tag. Video, I think, I'm not sure yet anyway. Thank you so much for watching bye,

Joelle Norman: Finally a video for hair as long as mine. While my hair is too thin and silky to do the ones where the ponytail is split into two strands ( I can't get the ends to stay pinned), I can do the figure 8 bun without too much trouble. I am looking forward to trying the ponytail versions.

Leanna Kekai: How fun and pretty! I liked all of your styles. I think your, bun-ponytail combo is cute! It makes me think of trying the bun with different kinds of braid too.

kitto2004: Yay, more hair tutorials please. I liked how you used different hairsticks for each bun.

Tamara Morton: Your hair is gorgeous! It's in great shape but the color is also beautiful. I've always wanted this hair color and see it so infrequently.

Elle D: Thankyou sooo much for this. I have watched a few tutorials but this is the first one with similar hair to me (really long and sleek) Going to wear one of these shopping tomorrow! And I looove your hairstick collection! And you are really cute :)

CJ Andrian: Creative video! I like your voice, it’s very cute. I like your ponytail / bun cross, it looks very pretty. Friendly reminder that a chopstick is to a hair stick as a fork is to a comb. Slightly similar, and they can technically function the same way, but generally it’s a bit silly to put eating utensils in one’s hair.

Earthquake Forecasting: I just got my hair sticks today so I'm looking for directions and came across this video. Those are so classy. I'm so jealous of your stick collection too! They're expensive! I was wondering how long I wanted to grow my hair exacrly... now I know I can grow it super long and have cute hair styles everyday! ❤

Jennifer Whittle: Oh my goodness I'm so happy I found your channel. My hair is long and heavy so I wear it up a lot. I never thought about using my hair stick this way. Q: where did you get all your hair sticks? I hope to see more of your videos.

꧁༒Set Apart༒꧂: I have another variation you can try...Instead of a ponytail...plat the hair or twirl into a rope...and use that as the last twirl around your bun to give it a decorative edge.... Very nice styles thank you for sharing!

Tao Xue: Thank you so much for this tutorial!

Mummy Milly: Please please do a video with all of your hair sticks in it? I would love to see them all. :) Beautiful hair.

dora brito: hermosa. muchas gracias!!!

Deepali Bhardwaj: thnk uu soo muchI learnt very easily to make different Chinese buns. ..your voice is too sweet mam nd I loved the way of your teaching it's sweet ,easy, amazing nd no more words

fantasieanime: These hairstyles need rather long hair to complete, and the hairsticks and elastic are integral parts in keeping the hair in place. If you have slightly shorter hair, about mid-back length, you can do hairstyles with just a hairstick, for example a French twist or a regular cinnamon bun roll hairstyle with just a hairstick as a fastener.

Aanchal Srivastava: Wonderful

TS lenka: Beautiful hair style

Sweta Rani: very easy and beautiful hairstyle

IrishSkyeOMalley: The styles are nice, but the hairstick is only there for decoration since the bun is actually being held by pins. So this is not what I was looking for, sadly. Still, they are pretty styles so a thumbs up and a save from me

Mary Espinoza: Is that your natural hair color? It's beautiful...similar to mine before I started getting grays.

Meghana Chitturi: I have freaking long hair which crosses my hips Soo thankfull to ur vedio. I wish I had more likes I would like to give 10k likes for u
