Hey everyone welcome, or welcome back to my channel all about ash before we jump today's video make sure you hit that subscribe button and subscribe to my channel, but in today's video i'm actually really excited because i love how this overall look came out. We are going to be installing and styling this body wave. You part unit from you, nice hair. If you guys want to see, i was able to install cut some layers into the unit curl the unit and just get this overall finished. Look then just keep on watching okay, so this is how we are starting. Of course, this is a u-part unit, so i have a little bit of leave out. I just went ahead and i washed my leave out and i blow-dried it so i fresh clean leave out to actually work with the rest of my hair is just braided down. So it's coming from the part of my leave out and just going towards the back, and i just went ahead and bobby pinned the ends of my braids down just so. I have a somewhat flat base to work with okay, so i'm just going to put my hair to the side for a second, so we can actually talk about the unit that we're going to be installing today. So this is the body wave. You part wig from united's hair. This is the unit we are going to be installing today, i, like you, parts are just really easy to work with. Of course, i honestly do like having leave out because it looks a little bit more natural and you can just easily switch it up to different styles, different parts whenever you want to so. This is what the unit looks like. I'Ve actually had it for a while. I'M just now getting around to filming this video and the waves are still pretty intact. Everything looks good. I just had it kind of sitting there. I'Ve looked at the unit. It still has the strips right here that i need to cut off, but this is just a quick overview of the unit, so in the inside there's two clips right by the front: there's one in the back there's two clips or combs, i should say: there's two Combs on the side, and then you also have one comb right here at the back and there's also a little spot of lace right here. I guess if you wanted to actually put the unit up and kind of glue that down or just have it look a little bit more natural. You could do that, but my you parts, i honestly always wear them down, so i'm just going to cut off that little bit of lace. So that's what i'm going to go ahead and do right now, i'm going to cut off this lace at the back and also cut off these two strips at the top. I cut off those two strips at the top and the lace at the back and now we're ready to install this unit. I actually really do like how this? U part, has the combs instead of the clips. Sometimes the clips just really snag at my hair and my braids, and that's also sometimes why i might wear a wig cap over it and just bobby pin it down. I think today, i'm pretty good to go with just like no wig cap, honestly, like just braids, underneath because these don't really pull at my hair, like that. So i first like to start at the back, i'm just going to take that first cone kind of stick. It in place then go around to the side, get the second cone and honestly helps that i have braids too, because the comb has something to kind of stick into, and it's literally that easy. Now i'm just gon na go to the back and pull the unit down. I'M actually gon na use this backcomb just to kind of keep everything in place and then pull it down around. I'M actually gon na use a side comb too. So i guess i'm actually gon na use all the combs today. Sometimes i honestly don't just because i have braids i'm going to use them today to just really keep the unit in place and just like that the unit is on again. This is another reason why i, like you part units. Not only are they really natural looking because you have leave out, but they're super easy to install so right now i did actually braid my hair in this pattern, but sometimes when i take off a wig - and i just have like my straight back braids - and i Kind of want a new style. All i have to do is take out those two middle part: braids wash it real, quick blow dry it, and then i can just use that as leave out and i have a whole new, fresh style and i would say, with this unit today, i didn't leave Any hair out on the side, so you can kind of see that one braid right there. So if you actually are going to kind of be pulling your unit back doing something like that, i would suggest leaving out some hair on the sides. But today, since i'm just doing a regular middle part and my hair is going to come down on the sides, i'm not going to leave any hair out just because i honestly don't really need it, but yeah. If you want to. I would definitely say that it makes it look a little bit more natural, but today we're just doing a middle part, so i think it's fine, so the first thing i'm going to do is actually straighten my actual leave out, because all i have done like i Said earlier was wash it and blow dry it. So i'm just going to put a little bit of heat protectant on and just straighten it really quickly. I just finished straightening, my hair. This is what it looks like or i guess you could say, straightening my leave out also before we actually style the hair. I kind of want to show you guys the kind of way that it came in, so i'm going to try to part my leave out away from the actual unit. This is what the unit is looking like, and i haven't done anything to it. This is just how it comes so so far all i've done is straightened. My hair, i'm just going to comb my hair into the unit just to kind of see overall what it's looking like, i feel like so far, even though, like we still need to blend my leave out with the unit in terms of styling, it looks pretty good. I think it's pretty flat again, these are just the combs there's no clips, nothing like that, and it's on there pretty good, pretty secure. So i probably should have done this before i straightened my hair and smoothed everything in together. I'M gon na go ahead and separate. My hair from the actual unit, just gon na pull it back on both sides. So what i like to do to all of my units is i like to put in a little bit of layers just so when you curl it, the curls fall at different heights. It gives you a little bit more volume - probably not the best at doing this, but i do this every single time with the unit. So i'm going to start with kind of these front pieces right here. I just kind of go in sections, so i'm just going to take some scissors and go at an angle. Go down just like that. I think i'm going to start right by my chin and just slide it down just give us some layers. So i took about that much off so now the shortest piece is right about here, instead of being all the way down there where it was at the beginning, i'm just going to do this on both sides. Just take sections of the hair put in a couple layers until i'm kind of happy with it. I think that's good for right now, as you guys saw i just kind of went in at an angle of my scissors and i cut a couple of layers into the unit. If you can see a little bit more when i turn to the side, but now we're actually going to get started with styling the unit. So what i'm just going to do is put some really cute, really simple natural light curls into the hair. I just like to use a wand like this and kind of wrap the hair around hold it. Let it fall. I don't think i'm going to pin the curls today, just because i kind of want like a natural effortless looks if you guys have been watching my videos. You know i just like something simple easy that looks good. It might look like you put more time into your hair than what you did, but in reality it just took. I don't know, maybe 20 30 minutes. So that's we're gon na go ahead and do i'm going to blend my leave-in with the actual unit at the top with the wand. So i'm going to start at the bottom of the hair with those wand curls and then, as we start getting up towards the top, i'm going to blend my actual leave out in with the unit just by curling it around and curling it together and then just Brush the curls out and that'll kind of be like the finished curled look, so i'm just going to start curling, the hair and i'll. Let you guys watch this process. I just finished curling the hair, and this is what it looks like. I haven't combed them out or anything that was extremely easy to do. I just feel like that way of curling. Your hair is really quick, easy, but also it looks good. Also, this hair is really soft. I kind of noticed it. I was going through layer by layer and curling the hair i feel like it held the curl pretty well again, like i haven't done anything to it. I just curled it i haven't combed out the curls haven't, pinned them anything. I feel like they're, going to hold the curl pretty well again, because the hair is body wave, so it already has like a natural type of wave to it. So i feel like that type of texture just holds a curl pretty well now we're going to go ahead and just continue getting the whole style together. So next i'm going to go ahead and do my edges just a little bit with the originals by africa's best honey and caster edge gel. I like this stuff, i feel like it holds my edges down pretty well throughout the day so because we have a middle part, i don't have to do a lot. I'M just going to put a little bit right here and a little bit on the other side and i'm not going to do any swoops or anything i just kind of like to smooth the hair back just so. It all looks neat and kind of uniform. So, just like that, i'm just going to put a little bit on the side edges over here, even though you probably won't see this because we're just doing a middle part, i'm just going to put on a little bit of edge control and then again just a Little bit on this side so, like i was saying earlier, if you do plan on kind of swooping your edges back or having your hair kind of out your face like this, i would actually suggest leaving out a little bit of leave out on the sides right Here but since i'm just having like a middle part, it's down, i feel like it's fine, if i were to tuck it behind my ear. You'Re, just gon na see like that bit of edges, you're, not gon na see that one braid right there. So, for that reason i feel like just leave out right here in the middle is good for this style, and then i always like to go in with a little bit of a wax stick just to get any of those flyaways. And then i smooth it in just helps make everything look a lot neater and now i'm just going to start actually brushing out these curls a little bit or i guess i should say combing out the curls. So it's getting like a nice kind of uniformed curl same thing on the other side, just combing everything out, so i think i'm going to straighten this a little bit because i don't want the curl to start up so high. I think i like for this to be a little bit straighter more so like that. So i'm just going to bump this with my straightener, so we don't have that curl starting right here. I just kind of like that. Look a little bit more! So just a little bit of small touch-ups and additions and i think we'll be done with styling. So i'm just going to straighten this out a little bit right here, yeah more so like that, so instead of the curls starting all the way up here, it just kind of swoops right down here same thing. On the other side, there we go, i think, do i like that straighten this out a little bit. Okay, now i feel like i have to fix it. Do i like yeah, i don't think i like it that straight. Let me actually put a curl back in a little bit higher up, maybe right here. I think that looks better. There we go. We need to have a little bit of body okay, so this is pretty much the finished hairstyle and honestly. I think that was the quickest. It'S ever taken me to do my hair. Of course i've done new parts before, but i feel like now. I just kind of have it down. If i wasn't filming, i really do think that this would have taken like maybe 20 minutes. This was honestly extremely quick, but this is the finished hairstyle like super cute super easy curls. It'S kind of nice uniform cute, not super structured, but still you know it looks like you did a little bit of something and of course it was just so easy to style. You guys saw, i literally just cut those little bands cut the lace at the back popped in little combs just straightened. My leave out honestly. Those curls are really quick to do, especially because that one gets like pretty hot. You don't have to hold it for long. Just wrap it around hold it, for maybe a couple seconds drop it i didn't even pin them and i feel like the curls are holding pretty well and again. I comb them out. I don't want like a super tight curl. I just wanted like something really nice and effortless. I feel like i was pretty much able to achieve that. Look overall, i have to say this unit. I really do like i personally like when my u-part units don't have the clip, but instead they have the comb. I just feel like it doesn't pull on my actual hair as much and just easy to readjust if you kind of want to move it around or whatever you want to do, or if you don't even want to use the clips, i feel like it's a lot Easier, just kind of lay them flat and just slap the unit on or if you just want to like use bobby pins. However, you want to secure the unit. I feel like it's a lot more easier with the combs instead of the clips and then the actual quality of the hair. The hair is super soft and, like i said earlier, because it is body wave, i feel like it's really going to hold a curl well, and i can also tell just by the texture and the feel of the hair. If you also want to straighten it, it would straighten pretty well too but yeah. This is just kind of the overall quick, simple, very cute. That'S pretty much the end of this video honestly, i'm kind of surprised with myself like how quick this was even this whole filming process. I think it took me like less than an hour and sometimes just filming. It really slows me down, could take me like an hour and a half two hours depending on what i'm filming, but even though i was filming, i was still able to do my hair really quickly and i feel like it came out cute like it just came Out exactly how i wanted it kind of cute and effortless simple, but just like a really nice go-to. Look again!
