Hi guys Tina here and happy holidays, so today, I'm gon na show you guys how to do the special occassions curls, because I posted this picture on Instagram couple of weeks ago and I've gotten so many requests for it. So I decided to incorporate it in this video and I am so grateful and excited to be teaming up with t3 for a major major giveaway and oh my god, you guys have to see what you're getting, because it is huge okay. So let's begin, and I'm gon na show you guys how to do this right out of the shower. So after you tella dry, your hair apply all your treatments whatever that may be. I'M gon na use the Avanti leave-in treatment here because it has heat protectant. It'S gon na make my hair super shiny and since I'm gon na be wearing a sweater dress, I have to consider static right, and this product also has static guard built into it. And then I'm gon na flip my hair upside down and blow dry. My hair, and by the way, guys I'm doing this wearing pajamas and I have like grape juice spilled all over my t-shirt, and this is, I look like a total buff. No, and I filmed this on a very cloudy day. So it's gon na be really bright and really dark on and off, and but I can't control the Sun now. Let me show you guys this beautiful, big and fantastic pops. I got from T three couple weeks ago because one of you are gon na win. This big box from T 3 as well I mean you're gon na get the entire store. It'S the entire convertible set, including the base, every single fancy barrels that they have, as well as the brand new size that they release. Recently, I mean just imagine all the curls you can create with this and if you guys don't know anything about t3, I and many other people use their curling irons, because this curling iron will make your curls last for more than five minutes. It'Ll make your curls last four days and ends another reason why so many people use this curling iron and also why you see it all over Instagram is because it's one of the most beautiful curling iron set on the planet for real, and let me show you Guys this new two barrels, because it's a new thing and not everyone knows about it. Look how big this is it it's like curling, your hair, with a baseball bat, no, it's not as big as a baseball bat, so yeah. So this is gon na be amazing for those days when I want big, voluminous and shiny hair and the fact that it's so big I can take bigger sections, which means that I can get ready faster in the morning as well and the other one is the One I personally love and I plan to start using this curling iron is smaller at the top and it gets bigger and bigger up towards the bottom. This is going to be so amazing for people who have very hard to curl hair see that our type of hair tends to get straighter more towards the roots. So it's going to be helpful to have curly roots because, by the end of the day, it's gon na look. Even but if you guys are ready for a luxury curling iron set, you can customize your own with a base and any of these seven barrels of your choice because that's a set, I started off with three years ago and I've gone so many different use and Looks out of it, I really really highly recommend those so be sure to check out all the information down below. So when I showed you guys that picture on Instagram had actually used the curling iron from the t3, the one-inch version and I'm actually burning up because it was so hot in this sweater trust. I don't know what I was thinking wearing it so anyway. So, first I'm going to clip up all the hair above my ear and spray on some hairspray, and here I'm using the sebastian shaper. But I also like the Loreal Elnett hairspray, because if you mess up, you can just brush it and do it again. So whenever you do a tight curly style, you always grab smaller sections, so I'm gon na grab a small section here and then draw the hair into the curling iron from the top and drag it down Midway before curling it away from your face. So I'm gon na wait a few seconds and kind of tap the hair, with my finger to check the temperature and when it feels a little warm, I'm gon na bring in the rest of the hair into the curling iron and wait 10 seconds before releasing the Curling iron, now before you drop the hair entirely, you have to hold the hair in your hands for about 2 to 3 seconds, because it's going to lock the curl in and you see how tight and beautiful this curl is. So we just repeat this and I'm not going to show you guys every single curl, because, oh my god, we've seen so many health to curl videos right guys. You don't need to see it every single curl, but I'm gon na explain it. Ok, because I want to show you guys the exact way I did it. So what you're going to do is curl all the hair around or near your face, going away from the face and then start alternating the direction you curl that meaning since we curl this first piece by curling it away from the face. The next section we're gon na curl it going towards the face and if you're, using a curling wand, you have to make sure you wrap the hair around the barrel very neatly, because we're creating classic perfect curls today and then pin it up after you release it From the curling iron, you know what I think it's easier to understand. If I just told you guys to curl the side in the crown going away and the back alternating sections, that's so much easier to understand right. So just do that. So I'm going to speed this up, so you guys can kind of see. Oh, you know. [ Applause, ], you're, gon na look like a Shirley Temple, a beautiful Shirley Temple, but a Shirley Temple nonetheless, and for an hour is gon na, be too tight. Then you're gon na flip your hair upside down to apply the hair oil, so you don't kill the volume, and I want you guys to look at my roots here. You see how flat it is all that curl and volume is at my bottom, and my roots are looking very flat and that's why I was so excited about that new one. That t3 came out with the. Let me see what it's called. I think it's called a cascade yeah cascading way what the top is a lot smaller than the ends, because if I had used that curling barrel, my curls would have been more uniform. So I'm gon na take that new one and see what happens, and this is what my hair looks like an hour later, and these curls really really last I'm sitting here day three doing this voiceover and I can tell you guys my hair still looks very curly And very cute, I am loving it. Thank you guys so much for watching be sure to enter that giveaway. All the information will be linked down below and a big thank you to my friends at t3 for partnering up with me, for this video be sure to thumbs up subscribe click on notification button to my laundry and go back and I'll see you guys again next Week, I love you guys. Good luck! Everyone bye,

Kim Lynn: I love your tutorials, truly, great work! You make it so accessible ! I've learned a lot about self growth this year. My quote is " don't feel bad for outgrowing people who had the chance to grow with you".. the road to self study is never easy. Happy holidays, Tina !

Megha Abraham: You're SO creative when it comes to hair! I never get bored watching your videos :)  Life lesson I've appreciated this year: Everyone is on their own path. Never assume others have it easy, because what you see on the outside is not necessarily what is occurring on the inside.

Reanna Sacks: Favorite lesson.... waking up every day and being yourself and getting through every moment is special and amazing!

Taely Lee: One of the lessons I learned in 2017 is sometimes you have to be selfish enough to realize what you truly deserve and how much you're worth. ❤❤

Swati Arora: Hey Tina.. wish you happy holidays.. Its great to see all aspects of your life other than just hair tutorials.. you are amazing .. 2017 was a year of self discovery to me. I learnt a lot of things about me, I also started to re-pursue my dream of having a great job and working again after being at home for 2 years and as a first step towards it I joined masters program and will be graduating in 2018.. I feel really happy and content.

eliza claire: Hiiiii Tina ☺️ greatest lesson I learned in 2017: Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain. ❤️

Angie's All around BEAUTY and HEALTH: I've learned this year that being a mom is one of the most hard and wonderful and rewarding experiences ever. ❤❤❤

Griselda Trevino: I just LOVE your hair tutorials! Thank you so much

Kin Kanwal: ''You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have''

Melanie Dygert: Life lesson is that no matter what happened this year my faith is what kept me joyous! "Time is the string between the arrow and the bow" Super excited about the reverse tapered barrel!!! ❤

Di Magnolia: I spent this whole year learning about minimalism. Of course, I apply this to my physical belongings, but it's been even more life-changing to apply minimalism to all the other non-tangible aspects of my life. I've still got a LOT to work on, but I've made huge strides in only surrounding myself with things and people and activities that genuinely bring me joy.

Jiovana Barrera: "When life gets comfortable its time for a new change" this year has been crazy my husband and I had decided to simplify to be more flexible with our volunteer work this quote was very inspirational to help us to continue to achieve this goal.

Karen Ramirez: Hi tina! A life lesson I’ve learned is to focus on progression not perfection. Sometimes most of us get discouraged when it takes time to reach our goals which makes us want to quit. But being patient and having faith is what helps us reach our goals!

99bitsy: “Life lesson” I learned this year is to not compare yourself and your accomplishments to others.

Shila lama: Hi Tina!! I love your videos. Btw the lesson that I learned this year is that do not rely on others and be independent no matter who is next to you.

lovepinkdee3: My favorite quote: “ You don’t have to be perfect to be amazing”.

Mila M: My fav life lesson this year: "Everything comes to you at the right time. Be patient"

Varsha Singh: Your hair is gorgeous! Congratulations on 1.5M! :)

Jenny Garcia: Hair is poppinnnnnn but my life Fav quote is: Your life begins at the end of your comfort zone

Paola Rivera: My life lesson 2017 was..... Without struggle there’s no progress!! So you really have to struggle to achieve something in life!! I even struggle to get those beautiful curls like yours lol

l av: I love your tutorials!!!! Please keep them coming.

Reylynn Gose: A life lesson I've learned this year is that you figure out who's actually there for you when you start finally doing things for yourself ❤

pookielovesyhu: “Happiness is a state of mind” is my life lesson that helped me out this year after being so stressed about handling being a single mom, head of household, student, and feeling like a failure for having to drop my classes over circumstances that were out of my control. It might sound cheesy, but it basically means to me that if I’m stressed it’s because I choose to be stressed and I’m not being grateful for all that I do have. Essentially, after reading this quote I took some steps back and thought to my self “why am I so unhappy this year ?” I have gone through Many difficult times before and have never felt this terrible, I came to the conclusion that I was only focusing on all the bad stuff. And now I’m so much happier reminding myself that I am alive and healthy and my son and I ALWAYS HAVE WHAT WE NEED and everything is going to be okay❤️

Kelsey S: Favorite lesson “Do your best, and leave the rest” ❤️

Jill Plumley: “Ain’t nothin but a thing” my boyfriend tells me this to help put my anxiety in perspective and it might sound stupid but it helps so much ❤️

Morgan Strong: “Success is not final, failure is not fatal; it is the courage to continue that counts.”

Katey Fryar: “If you want the rose you must respect the thorn” The cascading iron is such a cool concept love it.

ge0rgine: My favorite quote is actually in french so I will add a translation :) “L’expérience nous montre qu’aimer ce n’est point nous regarder l’un l’autre mais regarder ensemble dans la même direction.” And it means that “Experience shows us that to love is not to look at each other but to look together in the same direction.” It’s something I always thought was amazingly wise and was not able to put it into practice until recently. Yes in the beginning it feels like loving someone was looking at who they are but that is just a part of loving someone. I’ve learned this year that you have to look in the same direction as well, hopefully the future together because you can’t go back. Thank you this video was very helpful :)

Natalia Velez: I had lost my job 2 weeks ago and in the same day got hired at another! “One door closes and another one opens” definitely my life quote. Something has to end for you to make a new beginning in your life!

marliza4217: My fav life lesson this year: "Don't judge your journey; celebrate your growth."

NkaujCuaX: Life learning lesson of 2017: To never take your mother for granted. When my mother got admitted to the hospital and found out she will be on dialysis, broke my heart into piece because she will no longer be able to do thing or eat the thing she use too. Which really help me in all areas of my life.. so one of my newest favorite scriptures that have helped me regain confidence and has strengthened my hope is Jeremiah 17:7-8.. 7 “But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him.  8 They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”  Thanks for reading my comment, I really hope you have a Happy Blessed Holiday! Love & Hugs, Valerie Michelle Baltimore, Md

Noraneli Lopez: My favorite quote ”Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to dance in the rain” by Vivian Greene❤️

Jessica Aguilar: As a nursing student, my lesson from this year is: learn to accept rejection and take your time. Rushed progress doesn’t show your true potential. ❤️

Joss Cruz: "Remember that life's greatest lesson are usually learned at the worst time from the worst mistake"

Alley Vasquez: It’s been exactly ONE year that my dad received his kidney transplant! Leslie Perez: **Life Lesson 2017** “Whatever you sow you reap“ As in to every action has a reaction, and it’s up to us to choose what we will do in those reactions rather they may be positive or negative. We can’t argue or complain about how life is “Treating” us unfair when WE DECIDED what we have chosen. Nobody forces us to do things, we have to have control of our lives and not put our dependency on nobody nor have expectations for someone because you will disappoint someone someday, we can’t live based on what everyone wants or dose. We must be different, a different type of weird in this world but beautiful in its own way
