Hey guys so today I wanted to show you a super easy half-up half-down twisted hairstyle. This is perfect for bridesmaids for prom. For just everyday. I mean it's so easy. You guys are gon na be like wow, so I'm gon na show it to you on my phone real quick. I post this on Instagram, I think last year and I never did a tutorial for it. So we're going to do a tutorial today, but it looks like this. How cute is that so, let's get into it? Okay, so I did already curl my hair. A lot of people ask what I curl my hair with it's, usually just a one iron I'll. Just take my hair and wrap it around the wand. It'S a clipless wand, usually like today, I'd use the beach waver. This is actually an automatic wand, but I don't use it like that. I literally just wrap my hair around it like that. So super easy. You can see my hair is pretty flat to my head, so I'm just gon na take some texture spray. I don't really want to tease my hair, but I'm just gon na take some texture spray and kind of give it some volume and some grip. If you have thin hair kind of like I do, this is a good trick for you. So I like to use the Amika undone texture spray, so I'm just gon na spray it all over, especially in the back. I'M just gon na kind of rough up. The hair and then just kind of shake apart the curls and pull them out, so our hair is not going to be flat to our head. I hate when my hair gets super flat and it doesn't make your hair feel dirty it. Just it's hard to explain it just adds grip to your hair makes it not slippery's like if you just wash your hair using texture spray. It'S perfect for you again, just kind of shaking it around and boom here's what we got so you can see that definitely made a difference. My hair is not super tight to my head. You can, like, I said, go in and tease it give it more volume, but I don't really want to do that today. It can damage your hair and I just don't want to I'm really big right now, I'm trying to grow out my hair. So that's what we're sticking with one thing you'll want to have with you. Actually, the only thing really is meta grip, bobby pins. I'Ve talked about these a million times. They are amazing, so they come in a big jar like this from Sally's, and these just are not comparable to drugstore like Conair. I don't know if the cheap ones, whatever the cheap brand, is that you would get at a drugstore sock. These are very sturdy, so I highly recommend - and you get like over 200 of them like four dollars. So what we're gon na do is. We are just going to gather a section of hair right in the middle and just kind of make like a poof. That looks good to me and I'm gon na kind of smooth it out a little bit. Hopefully you can sure all right and we are just going to twist it and then just kind of poof it up like that. Then I'm gon na take my bobby pins and then just insert them. I like to go up like that and then my hair, like I said it's not super thick, so I'll take another one and just kind of crisscross that, like that and it's very secure. So here's what it looks like from the front - nothing crazy, but now we are going to twist our hair and just drape it over that pouf. Okay! So I'm going to take a section from this side. You don't want it too thick, but you don't want it too thin, because we want to make sure it's even on both sides. So I'm just gon na take it and twist it and then gently pull like that drape it across. And then, when you insert your bobby, pin make sure you go up and then into the twist, so it's nice and secure it's going to grab a section of hair. We'Re not going to include the twist over here that we just pin so we're just going to take another section and just kind of go over that to cover it and twist it and then just pull on it and then just bobby pin that into place. And now we're just going to kind of even it out so now I'm just going to pull on these on this twist right here. So if it's kind of drooping down like mine is that's fine, just take a bobby, pin and put it in to the twist and just kind of push it into your scalp. Then I like to just kind of do a little bit of hair over right here to cover that section. So I'm just going to grab some hair and just kind of twist it right here and then insert the bobby pin directly up into the twist so that we don't see it. You can see. The bobby pin is showing on this side. So I'm just going to take my hair cover it, so that is it you guys could. Definitely, if you don't want to wear it, half-up half-down, you could take it into a ponytail. You know droop, some of these pieces have them hanging down. You could even do this into like a really pretty messy bun lots of options. If you don't want to wear as a half up half down hairstyle, I mean no, but look it's super cute, just as like a ponytail see, but totally up to you guys how you want to wear it. So I'm gon na turn around and show you guys. The final look so don't forget to subscribe thumbs up this video and leave a comment. I have something very exciting. I'Ve been working on the Hat, I'm gon na announce soon so anyways. I will share more details about that. Maybe next week, what kind of wink was that there we go thanks, guys muah
