What'S up you guys welcome back to my channel today, I'm showing you how I get a sleek and snatched ponytail. I did a video like this a little over a year ago. My goodness time flies, but I think I did around the holidays, but you can obviously wear a snatch sleek ponytail like this all year round, but I found a much easier way to do it seriously a much much easier way to do it. So I'm going to show you guys how I do it in this video. You can do it if you have short medium long hair. I have medium length hair. If you have longer hair, you can do this to get more volume, and if you have short hair, you can get it to get more volume and a little bit more length as well. So I hope you guys enjoy this video. My lip color is gon na be listed down below in the description box and let's go ahead and just jump right into it. Here you can see the length of my hair. My hair, like I said it's about a medium length. It isn't long, it isn't short either. I'M definitely trying to grow my hair out, but the cut that I have right now. I have layers and stuff like that, so it's layered medium length, hair. The first thing that I like to do is obviously remove the current ponytail that I have. If I am wearing a ponytail at the moment - and I just brushed through the front parts of my hair - not through all of it and then I grab some hairspray and hairspray - is basically your best friend. Throughout this entire process, you can use hairspray mousse gel whatever you want. I prefer hair spray. This one isn't my favorite favorite, but it works. So I'm using this again on the front or the top of my hair, and then I spray some on my brush as well. Just for extra hold, as you can tell, I focus a lot of the brushing on the front portion of my hair because that's where I wanted to be sleek and where I want it to be really really pulled back. I don't want flyaways. I don't want my hair to be looking crazy. I want it to be very slick and then, once you think, you're done its licking down your hair. You want to add more hairspray, because there's no such thing as too much hairspray for this hairstyle, then I start putting my hair up into a ponytail and I work in sections, because I have a lot of hair very thick and I work in sections because I Want to make sure that I don't have any areas where you can see my scalp. I want it to be basically even all the way around and you can use your paddle brush to help you with this part. If you would like, I just prefer to use my hands because sometimes the paddle brush makes the hair spray flaky and really white, and then it looks like I have dandruff. I don't want that once the top half of my hair is up, then I grab the bottom half and then I add more hairspray to it as well, and I just slick it up and once everything looks the way I want it to look, then I go Ahead and put a rubber band around and make a ponytail and the star of the show, is this attachable or detachable ponytail the link to this ponytails going to be down below and what I liked is that they have different textures to choose from now all the Hair is silky, you can choose kinky hair. You can choose yaki hair. I think I'm using the yaki one, because I do have a little bit of texture of my hair, so yeah, I'm just using that at home and sliding that through my ponytail, as you can see here once it is attached and secured, then I start to wrap Around the velcro part and I'm showing you these clips in real time that way, you can see exactly how I do it. It'S so simple and I want to make sure that I demonstrate it in a simple way. So all you do, is you wrap the velcro around your ponytail? Then you grab that extra piece of hair and then you wrap that over the velcro to make sure that you can't see the velcro. Obviously, you don't want people to know that you have a fake pony, even though it doesn't look like the realest thing out there, but it'll do the job. You don't want velcro sticking out so wrap it a few times and once you finish, wrapping it you're gon na grab a bobby, pin and just clip it either to the back the front. However, you would like, wherever it ends up and what I like to do is run my straightener through the hair, because you can see this a little bit wavy and I want it to be bone straight. But after that, that's it that's all. I do to get a sleek long, snatched pony
