3 Everyday Hairstyles For Medium Hair For School, College, Work | Knot Me Pretty

Hey everyone, so, in this video, I'm gon na show you these three very easy hairstyles that you can use possibly every day. I have also used the Dyson Air app to add volume and create loose waves in my hair, so without wasting any further time. Let'S get started so I'm just gon na divide my hair in two sections and then take smaller sections and keep tying the rest away. Okay, so this is the Dyson Arab kit. The long barrel inside is the air wrap and all of the other, smaller equipments is what you can use to style. Your hair. I am gon na use the 30mm barrel to just add volume and sort of loose curls in my head. So this has a three speed setting. You can either put it on cold air, a medium heat or high heat. This has hot and cold setting, so you can alternate between both of them to sort of style, your hair, better, okay, so starting off with the right side, it is very simple: all you have to do is just hold the Arab and literally the hair completely wraps On its own now, my hair is short. Alright, so I need to sort of move the barrel up that the curls come all the way from the top and they're not just on the bottom. If you have longer hair, you will literally not need to move the barrel at all. The hair is going to wrap by itself around the Arab for hairstyle number one. I'M gon na take a two inch section on the side. I am going to split that into three equal halves and I'm gon na do a Dutch braid, wherein I will be moving all the sections under the middle section and not over. So if you notice, I am moving all of the sections under the middle section and I am only adding hair from the top of my head to the middle section. I am NOT adding any hair from the front at all, so this is called a Dutch braid and it looks super cute if you can just sort of master the technique of doing this, and when you do a side. Wait like this in a Dutch grade, it looks absolutely adorable, [ Applause, ], okay, so once you are done doing it a couple of times, I just take it towards the back: pull some hair out and secure it and then just cover it with some hair. Make sure you're gently pulling on the braid to open it up? If you do so, your hairstyle is gon na look a hundred times better, and that is it for the first hairstyle. It looks very cute if you have slight waves of curls in your hair, and I think this braid looks really cute when you have like shoulder length. Medium hair is our number two. We are going to work with a middle parting and then I'm just going to take a two to three inch section right at the hairline like that, I'm going to flip it backwards and start twisting it, and once I twisted a couple of times, I am gon Na slightly push my hair forward now that will help in creating a lot of volume. Gon na take a very cute bobby pin like this. I think accessories make a huge difference, two very simple hairstyles and then I'm gon na simply repeat the same thing on the other side, also pop the sectional from the arch of your eyebrows on both the sides. Now this will really help in your twist starting from the same sides. It'S gon na look really equal and, while you're doing so always make sure you have a mirror in the front and that you're, seeing that both the twists come out pretty equal. I'M also going to use the be blunt spot light, hair polish just to sort of calm down any flyaways that I have on the top. This will also help in adding shine into my hairstyle. So that's the bonus, that's it for the second hairstyle. It is super cute super easy and slightly different. Now, moving on to the third one again, working with the middle parting, I am just gon na take a two inch section on one side. So if you notice, I have one main section on the top and then I'm gon na keep picking up smaller sections right under the main section, I'm going to take it over the main section and just pull it through this way I am taking smaller sections and Just wrapping it around one main section: it's a little difficult because you have to keep looking into the mirror and you have to keep looking the other side so that you get a really nice twist, which is moving towards the back [ Applause ]. So that is all you have to do, keep doing this all the way till the back and then secure it using a bobby pin again, you can choose to use a normal, bobby, pin or something like this. That adds a little bit of glam and blink into your hairstyle. Okay, now simply repeat the same thing: on the other side, you have to make sure that you have a mirror and you'll keep looking into the mirror when you're picking up sections try to stay as close as you can try to keep the sections as equal as They can, I know it's a little difficult, but you will definitely ace this with a little bit of practice just lightly pull on the twist.
