Starter Locs On Medium Length Hair (Vlog)

Hair VLog: Natural Medium Length Hair to Loc Transformation! Here is the video journey!

I started my journey two weeks ago and I wanted to show you what I did. I started with coils and went to a salon by a professional who has been doing locs for about 4 years now. Enjoy!

I just came to the salon here, it's kind of crazy, but I'm about to get washed and then deep conditioned blow-dried, and then they like to talk about this stay tuned. Okay, so I just got through with a moisturizing shampoo. She didn't use the clarifying one and the deep penetrating one because she said it would rip all the color out of my hair. So, as you can see, my hair is color treated. So now I'm about to do the deep conditioning and then go underneath the dryer. I think this conditioner she added right now see them curl. Well, okay, so I'm under the dryer right now and I'm just chillin. I just got em to dry. I'M about to show you all the salon that I meant so what's a really clean salon and then the girl who shampooed me was super nice. So let me get some the reviews on Yelp, so my hair just got deep, conditioned and everything and I'm just waiting on the stylist to come and start come on. Let'S go up the dome all right, I'm getting my hair done by gaudí yeah. So this is the process so far it's about halfway done. I have this on there to trap in the moisture, because my hair dries super super quick. So if you want PC, add a little bit these parts, though I'll point all right be back shortly, so I realize in all this time the camera was going. The wrong way should be this way, not this way so yeah. Okay, so somebody told me that because my hair is really coyly and curly because I'm about like a 4b 4c, it is gone. It'S only going to take like six months too long. Why is that uh, your hair? Is you got good rid of hair, but it is a course which I'm not necessarily a bad thing. So it's definitely not like really, okay cool, so you said what now? Oh, it won't necessarily the whole thing one that said with Rocco. I'M not gon na share with you, it'll be completely locked in six months huh, but at least like the me implants, it's, like, I told you earlier my middle lock right away with no problem. Obviously, with at least three or six months, okay, my size, though, when you get in the shower to humidity and all of that hmm made it take a little bit longer. Okay, because my hair a little bit finer around side, okay versus the middle, is much more coarser. Thicker yeah the middle took a little while and a massage in his own back for about a good nine months to a year in it crying. Besides, cooperate all right. Cool okay, so my hair is kind of hard after our six to comb through, and I said it's because I don't be calm in my head. I just used conditioner and it feels like, but a baby and my curls thank God he was like he can tell that it. I used to be a coach used to be in calm. I care it's just the end, though right I get to the answer scroll. I guess that's why taking so long, it's not that thick! It'S just! I got a lot of hair and it's fine. It'S fine hair, but I have a lot of fun alright well in the last row, and it's been a long. Oh, oh, but it's looking really! Nice whoa can't wait till how, when I take the clips off how come and look, although it is really flat to my head right now, it's cool the finish finish product. They look really nice. You

Monique F: So funny that when I first watched this video (2 years before I got my locs) I was hanging on every word but now I realized from my own experience and the experience of others who had locs that your grade of hair does not necessarily determine the time frame of the loc process. Its different for every person no matter your grade or hair type. Each and every loc journey is different. Its not bad to use this as a reference but its definitely not the rule.
