So a lot of you have been asking for styling tips and I think that's an actually a great idea. So that's exactly I'm gon na do I'm gon na put together a whole series of playlists of different videos that have styling tips for you, things that I've learned over the past 25 years as a stylist that are gon na help. You make your styling process way easier, hopefully, but somebody actually had a great idea and that somebody is this lady right here. Would you approach I did, but I said why don't you do a video where you're instructing me to do my own hair, so you guys can see not how I as a stylist, would do it, but how you at home would do it like the way you Would hold it your hand, position in your head position all of those things I thought that was brilliant and side. Note. She always tells me a house much smarter. She is than I am I'd him she'd really, but it's true. Ultimately, she married me so hey nobody's perfect. That was rude alright anyway, off to the salon. Okay, so we're back in the salon. Now, if you're near my channel, my name is Justin Hickox and I share tips. Hair tricks things. I'Ve learned over 25 years of doing hair and hopefully that'll make your hair a heck of a lot easier for you so today this is the first episode in a series of playlists that I'm gon na do all about styling techniques. Today, specifically we're gon na be talking about round brushing on shoulder length or longer hair in every single one of these styling videos. I'M gon na follow a format, prep hair drying tool, management and finishing so, let's dive into how to blow-dry with your round brush. Okay. So the first thing we're gon na do is talk about prepping. Now, prepping is basically when you get out of the shower. What do we do before we start drying the hair? Now anytime we're trying to create any sort of shape? We need some sort of more often not. We need some sort of foundational product to help us get that shape. Really what ends up happening is when we clean our hair. Typically, what happens it strips all the oil all the dirt, all the grime out of your hair, which is important, but the problem side of that is that that makes the hair basically just want to lay kind of flat and lifeless so actually adding some of that Oil and texture back into it helps us maintain and create a foundation for the overall shape that we create, so I'm gon na use right now or I'm gon na actually have Fionna use. This is volume and the extra from l'oréal it's from their Technic line. So I'm gon na have you apply it to your hand, so go ahead and I'll tell you want to stop, keep on going and stop I'm using this amount, because it's not gon na be too much to wear her down or to get over greedy in her Hair, but it's gon na give us a nice little bit of foundation and since we're talking about dealing with the round brush today, we're want some Bend and some control in some shape to her hair. We want her hair to be smooth. So that's what we're gon na create with this, so I'm gon na have you apply that to your hair, and I want you to start here and like basically at the root you're in the crown and then work it through all the way from roots to ends. So I like to have people start up where she's starting right now, because you're altima ly gon na pull it from the roots to the ends? If we're talking about creating true Bend, we need product from the roots to create root, lift in the mid shaft to help control that bending it to hold it all the way through the end, because the bend needs to run all the way from roots to ends. Okay, so now, let's move into drying your hair, so what I'm gon na have Fionna do to help encourage a little bit that root lift is to actually tilt her head forward and dry. It like that now many times when you're at the salon. Essentially, what we're doing is we're standing behind you and we're utilizing the blow-dryer like this, so we lift your hair up off of this scalp and we're getting it dry in at the roots. First right and we're breaking it up. We'Re doing this or we might have you tilt forward it. Sometimes it kind of pens on the stylist, but many times we're doing this, and the point of that is to get that hair lifted up off the scalp so that you can start encouraging some root. Lift at the roots throwing your hair forward and utilizing the blow-dryer like that. Just to get the moisture out is gon na help get all of these roots up off the scalp. Give you more volume - and it's gon na - be a very quick and efficient way to dry your hair. Now I'm using the Dyson blow-dryer if you're unfamiliar with this, I actually did an entire review on this dryer, not sponsored by Dyson at all, where I put it to a lot of different tests to see. Is it worth it because it's not a cheap dryer? If you want to check that out I'll link that right here make sure you watch into this video and then you can go check that out to see if this makes sense for you. But with that said, I'm gon na have her start just getting her hair. Dried, so I want you to take this turn it on perfect now tilt forward, and there we go. One thing that I do want to point out is: I want you to come through it with your fingers. Right, so use your fingers to come through it. Now. The reason that this is important is because this is going to help a to get this hair movement going in a direction those roots going in a direction. That'S going to be somewhat opposite of the way they're going to lay again that's creating more true lift, but also it's gon na help making sure that you don't just end up with a bunch of tangles that you then have to comb out after the end. Another option is to be using a brush, so I'm gon na give this to you right here and I'm just gon na. Have you brush your hair down from the scalp to the ends like that with that now exactly one thing: you're doing it right so so this is perfect. This is the first time she's ever used a brushing her hair like this. So this is exactly what you're gon na go through. If you've never used a brush, there might be some awkward movements to it so you're doing really well, one thing that you might want to try is try to move them at the same time, so that you're not keeping this heat in one area at all times. There'S no right or wrong specifically to how you do this, I'm just showing you different ways to help you with whatever is the most comfortable for you. So we're gon na go ahead and finish this out and then we're gon na come back and I'm gon na show you a couple other tips, a tool management, so we're gon na be talking about round brushing here today. Obviously so, let's talk real quickly about this round brush I've used a lot of different round brushes, and I choose this one on purpose and the reason being is because there's a few things that are important to me about a round brush to make them easier to Manage one of them is the perforation I like the perforation, because for what I find, it helps to heat the hair more evenly on both sides. The biggest thing to me, more than anything, though, is the actual bristles and how much tension it creates in your hair. What you don't want is a brush that, when you put it in your hair, that bristles are so tight together that the hair just sits on top of it and you get no tension whatsoever that is really problematic to try to smooth hair out. You also don't want something that grabs it so much that just gets stuck in it. So this which is a Olivia garden. It'S a pro thermal this particular brush is been a really good marriage of that. So what we'll do - and this is what I'll have to beyond ado - is what you'll do is you'll grab a section, so first things first tilt your head off to the side. Again, you can use gravity and comb all of this hair out of the way, and I'm gon na give you this brush. So first things you're gon na do is: how are you gon na hold the brush? How do you normally hold the brush? Okay? So most people, when they grab brush, look at it like this. Okay and they'll rip their hands all the way around it. We want to actually move the brush turn it a little bit while we're going through the hair, not just put it in and then pull it through so holding it like this, so that you can actually turn it. It'S gon na help a lot. So that's our gon na start to do it then you're gon na put the brush in perfect, okay and then you're gon na bring the blow-dryer up and you're gon na. Do this now right off of the bat there's two things I'm noticing here that are gon na be problematic. Okay, what I want you to do is something a little bit different now. First of all, we want to use one of these now these particular attachments I like them because they distribute the air flow more evenly across the span of the brush. The other thing is, I put this put the brush back in, like you were perfect now the other thing is bring that blow-dryer up it's important, and I know this is awkward, but I'm gon na have you move your hands like this, so this is different than This what we normally want to do is we have a tendency. People have tendency to want to drop their elbow down here and do that, what she does they actually move it back to you. They want to do this. Okay. Now the problem with this is one even if we turn this nozzle, so that it expands the brush, we're putting the blow-dryer the heat directly at the actual brush. So when you've got a brush like this that's round, okay and you have that blow dryer and that blow dryer is like this. That means that all of that air is going straight against the the section now it would be similar to you doing this with your hand and put the blow dryer like this, and just let the heat hit your hand versus if you keep this nozzle pointed down Your hair, so it's actually like blow-drying your hair, like this you're, still getting the heat, but because it's not direct heat against your hair, it's gon na be far less damaging as hot as dryers get today. This can melt your hair. This will smooth your hair out. So lifting your elbow do that again, put that back on there perfect and put this in now this time, you're gon na lift your elbow right so down. Yes, exactly like that, twisting said: she's twisting it a little bit to get to mention our sir to get some tension and back down. That was that was the perfect amount right, so tender soft. So what she did there was she put this in her hair she's. Moving it down, this speed was good because notice that she didn't stop. She continued to move the blow-dryer, so the heat was continuously moving, so it wasn't resting on one spot and then she went the same speed even over the ends. It was still a slow movement. Now there is one other thing to note: if you're trying to create volume at the roots - and you pull your hair down like this and those roots are pressed against your head, you're, taking all the volume out that you may have created already up there. So doing this right and starting to brush this bar from the scalp and down like this, that's just gon na lay these down, because the second you come down with that with that brush see how flat these are. Now, if I do this up here and pull it out, see how those roots are staying pulled out from the scalp they're, not laying fight against the scalp, so you can kind of see how she would normally do it if we're gon na round brush it, we Have a nice amount of Bend and movement and texture to her now. The last thing that we want to kind of do is finish things off. Add a little bit more of that polished, look and that's what we're gon na get into right now and I'm gon na show you guys the right and wrong way to manage stuff like waxes and pomades and oils etc. So I'm just kind of messing her up to give it a little bit more texture. Now, I'm gon na use mythic oil. This is from L'Oreal as well. Gon na hold your hand out there real, quick now we're just gon na use a pump, so I'm gon na have you work that between your hands? Okay and now - we're gon na want to start working this in just through the end. Now here's the key! This is one key thing when you put this in what she's not gon na do is grab her hair like this and start combing through it. Okay, you're, most of the surface area of your hands are in your palms. So therefore, most of the product is right. Here in her palms palms down there, we go right there in her palms so having her palms play. This writer hands like this is gon na help to ensure that some of those ends attach to the palms, but she doesn't dip all of that oil into sections of her hair right here so start with your hands like this and just kind of work it through The ends there you go and kind of thing ends there you go yeah tilt forward and all she's doing is just kind of working this in to get a little bit more shine and separation. Now is the time that you work your hands like this again back to them and then just piece out some pieces or smooth out the ends in the front, and now you can get a little bit more aggressive with your palms, because at this point you've already Levy ated, some of the products off of your palm and now we're getting some movement she's getting some shine. So you can get some separation separate some of this pieces, how it be like, but if you're gon na use a shining agent at the end, that's the appropriate way to use it to manage the amount of wheel you have in the scalp so that you don't Take away all of the volume that you've created make sense; okay, that's all the tips and hey. I appreciate you hanging out with me. I hope it helped. I hope you learned something if you've got a friend or somebody, you know that could benefit from this video. Fantastic share with them. I helps the channel out and I would love to see it and if you've got a tip or trick that you're using right now with the round brush, and you didn't hear it on this video comment below. Justin Hickox: Thank you for taking the time to watch! I’d love to hear what styling tips you’d like to see in this series! What do you struggle with when it comes to styling your hair?

Lorna Pinkoff: Thank you for taking the time to make these tutorials. You have a great teaching style.

Christie St. Clair: Thank you SO MUCH for this series! I’d love to get guidance on drying the back myself. I’ve got very thick hair just below shoulder length, and it’s tricky to section, brush and blow all at the same time. Thanks!

Gauntlet to Life: Your Wife is amazing! Intelligent, supportive & I love her sense of humour too! She is a natural beauty and it's so good to see a woman not "hiding behind a tonne of makeup" You make a great team. Thank you for your extremely practical advice to those of us who struggle to style our hair ( I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels "Oh this is to hard so just put it in a ponytail or messybun.... ) so TY once again Justin for your channel. During lockdown what better time to educate the Academics who had our head in the books while the rest of the population was doing their hair LOL . Your channel is "JUSTIN-TIME" LOL . I am binge watching between study and reports for work, so your videos are my reward for attaining my goals ( or sometimes partially..... ) I think inspiration can really spur the brain on ; D

Gina Inorio: Thank you! That was fantastic! Please do more of these showing how to hold flat irons, curling irons, wands, etc..

Mirjam Spiekman: Just watched this super helpful video! I'm also always aiming for volume, especially on the sides as I have an elongated face shape. While blow drying one side, I put some velcro rollers in the sides I'm not working on to "pre-bend" (if that's a word ) the hair in the right shape. I also spray some hairspray on the brush while blowdrying (when the hair is 95% dry) to give the hair a bit more body as it's so soft after washing and set it at the same time. I hope you're not gonna say that this is completely the wrong thing to do! . Anyway, love your channel and your vibe!

jacqueline griffiths: Love this Justin, especially as I have curly hair & if I want a straight style i use GHD straighteners, I use rarely due to damage so I depend on large round brush & blow dry, or I let it dry on it's own after a quick blast of drying roots like you've just done. Learned so much more about different types of brushes. Thank you for sharing.

Michelle Brooker: Loved this! So helpful! After too many years of incorrect, frustrating blow drying and frizz! Best tips: tipping head over, drying roots with hands and best of all twirling brush up and out, not DOWN. I have the Olivia brushes too. Hallelujah @Justin Hickox!

Glads M: Today I learned a lot about hair styling from your channel! Your wife's idea about doing it herself while you explained how it should be done was great! Btw, I'd love if you could give some ideas about how to style a medium to long thin hair for people with receding chin. Thanks & keep up with the good work!

Lisa Whalen: Love your videos. Especially love how you have your wife do it so we see what it is like when we would do it ourselves. I can never seem to get the same results as I do from my stylist, but with you explaining everything and having your wife do it makes so much more sense now. Thanks for taking the time to do these vidoes!

Kathy Lahmeyer: These videos are so helpful. When a professional does all the work it’s hard for me to catch on, but watching you teach your beautiful model is so helpful. I do my hair exactly how she was doing hers before you corrected her, and I had no clue why it never looks like what my stylist does.

trekhardfilms: Justin, heart felt thanks for your videos. I am 46, and I can't tell you how much I've spent on stylists (including going to Bon Jovi's) just to try to get a good hair cut. I have had damaged hair all my life because 1) I didn't know about combing/detangling 2) I didn't know how to properly blow dry (always went perpendicular to my hair) 3) didn't use good shampoos or products. Literally just by using a wet brush and drying my hair the direction you said, my hair went from Homeless to Haute! It's pretty sad to be learning this so late. I wish my stylists had taught me. My mom didn't know either and I am going to pass on this knowledge to her and my sister. Again, thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!

Shelly S: I followed along and blow dried my hair and I have to say it was the best blowout I’ve ever done myself. Thank you for all the great tips!

Linda W: I learn so much more from this video by you allowing her to do her own hair with the blow dryer and round brush. Please do more videos like that. I’d love to see a video on how she would do a beach wave with a flat iron.

Kelley Kunkel: What a terrific video Justin! Thank you! One question: when do you start using the round brush? When the hair is almost dry?

Jacqlyn Thorne: I just found your channel and love the videos, thank you so much for making them! I also love my Dyson dryer, it’s the kindest one I’ve ever owned to my fine but thick, wavy, cowlicky, highlighted hair. One tip I can share is, after using the dryer and a round brush on a section, I flip the dryer over and let it’s air intake on the back sit over the section for a few seconds. It cools the hair and sets it, makes it shinier, and is also faster (for me) than running the dryer on cool over my whole head after blow drying. Thanks again, and I look forward to more videos.

Kerri Gibson: You and your wife are awesome! My struggle is how to tame my very thick very coarse hair I have a long face and have it shoulder length but my sides keep growing out fast and weigh everything down. And at 51 I don’t need it to age me any more than i am already... I know you responded that you were going to work it on a future video, I’m just giving detail. Love your tips and that you share your expertise. Much appreciated

Kat Cederberg: Just found you and binge watched. Super helpful video! Loved seeing a non-pro go through the process with your guidance. Please do more of these with different tools! Thanks so much! Just subed

Ginni Oldner: Great tips! Using the round brush has always been difficult for me, so glad I have come across your videos!

M. Felton: I just found your channel and subscribed. This video was so helpful! A suggestion for another tutorial is what types of hair products for styling to use such as mousse, gels, pastes, etc. and when you would use them/for what purpose. Looking forward to more! Thank you!!

Mary Stevens: Fantastic tips and hits, you’ve just made blow drying my hair-in lockdown-much easier and with a more polished finish. Thank you!

YellowstoneKV: Wow. For 50 years, the only thing I did correctly was use mousse and bend over to dry my hair. Couldn't figure out how to use the brush with the dryer so I just gave up. Thank you SO much for sharing your knowledge so generously (and for your wife's suggestion). I'll check out the Dyson dryer. Love your videos!

Belinda Shanle: Loving this series. I am growing my hair out and would love to see a tutorial on using thinning shears to thin my hair while at home.

JackOllie4: Just found your channel! These are great styling videos ... I am learning a lot! It is absolutely great to have a model (your lovely wife, in this case!) who does "all the things" that prompt you to demonstrate the better way to get great results. Thanks ... really loving these!

May Ebony: Fantastic content, Justin. Your videos are so helpful, and because you explain Why, something I've always needed to know, everything makes so much sense. I've been binge watching all of your videos. Love them all.

SorellaMinchella Succulents: saw your announcement on Sunny's story tonight. Congratulations! It's so great to see so much growth for you in less than a month! Also, I love your content, because I struggle doing my own hair... :) Thanks for sharing your success story!!

Mary Nall: Love you walking someone doing their own hair! This was SO helpful. Thank you.

Deborah Luongo: Another great way and helpful way on how to blow dry hair. I have very curly frizzy hair and it goes just at the end of my neck I have a lot of body but at the same point I will try this technique and see if this helps. I do have a brush very similar to what you are using so hopefully it will give me a better styling option! Love your videos keep them coming :-)

K C: Oh my gosh! Why did it take me 53 years to find you? I stumbled across this video and thought meh, I know how to blow dry my hair. I watched it and gave it a try and damnnnnnnnn, i look like I had my hair blown dry by a professional. Imagine that. I happen to have the same brush that you used in the video. Everything you said to do I did and it works my fine hair has body and looks like there’s twice as much there. Thank you so much for doing what you do!

Alex Valero: What a GREAT IDEA! I loved all the techniques you showed us! I make the same mistakes you wife made Can you please make a video on how to blow dry the back of the hair? Is always the more complicated for me ! (Medium length or long hair) And also how to deal with cowlicks.... grrrr!!! I have a rebel one with my bangs Thank youuuu!!! You just got a new subscriber and a thump up from me !

Wendy: Love this Justin I've watched this video numerous times and love Deonnas hair cut I love her hair my hair is her length how would I tell my stylist to cut my hair like this really ?? Love how her layers are it doesn't take away her length in the front sides thanks so much!!

NameHere 2020: This is what I want as a viewer- a clear example of how I would do a blow out at home by myself. Thank you! Questions: how important is a person's haircut when styling the hair? Also, will not having a trim in several months make hair harder to style? Thank you again!

Phil B: Agreed - you have a great teaching style. Justin, what do you think of dryer/ rotating brush combined - like babyliss big hair? Does it damage hair by blowing direct onto, not down the shaft?

galecrafts - ( The Happy Stamper ): Great tips Justin! The more height and volume the better for this girl ~ Any recommendations for a great root lifting mousse? I am a Kendra Finishing Spray fan but not of their mousse. Loved your previous video on hairstyles for round face peeps , I am off to my stylist tomorrow for my stacked bob touch up. It does getting boring though from time to time so I would love to see any styling change up ideas you might have for the classic cut. Keep up the good work, Gale The Happy Stamper :) P.S. Former Nail Salon Owner/Nail Tech

Linda Lanza: Loved the video . I’ve seen it before and you’ve helped me with blowing my hair but I have a problem with every round brush that I’ve purchased so far. My hair gets intertwined between the handle where the brush and the barrel connect . Would love to know if there’s a brush thats made from one piece . Or one that’s tangle free? My hair is shoulder length

Megan H: Wow, that was excellent. Great idea to have your lovely wife sit in and do it rather than you. I learnt so much in this video. Thank you!

sicplano: She looks great! Beautiful hair color, highlights and layering. I love the Olivia Garden round brushes. I now know how better to use them. Thanks for the tips.

Sabsa 70: Hi Justin! New subscriber here. Watched most of your videos the last weekend and love them. This one was very helpful and I‘ll surely think of you when I dry my hair the next time. Have the Dyson . Your wife is an absolute natural beauty!!! Take care of her. Greetings from far away in Germany, Sabine

Suzanne Smith: Many thanks for this excellent instructional demo! What I struggle with is fine hair that won't hold a style. I have tried various styling products to add body to my hair but they either weigh it down and make it flat or leave a gummy or hard coating that results in broken ends and lots of hair in my comb or brush.

elin old: Thank you so much, for this amount of information! You are great Will try all the tips and hopefully get my own blowout.

Diane Merpaw: Thank you so much! What a great idea, it is exactly what I have been looking for. Love you two!

Tricia Jensen: LOVE this potential series! Also gorgeous model/wife! Seems like hot rollers are making a comeback, do you have advice/experience working with those. I love the idea & soft look they give for date night

Pamela: Love how you take the time to show how to use different products for different hair styles.

Diana Longhenry: LOVED this video Justin! I saw ALL the mistakes my stylist did yesterday to take away ALL of my volume.

Sunshine Lives: Just started viewing your videos... thank you for sharing your experience and useful information. I have natural curly thick hair, what’s the ultimate best thermal heat protector when using a flatiron?

Baribrooks: I think about you EVERY time I blow dry haha...you’re a great teacher, Justin! Please address how to choose the right size round brush...thanks!

Amanda Paron: Thank you so much for this tutorial! So many details alot of us may not have thought about on our own!

vicki cortez: I watched and followed as closely as possible I loved the results thankyou I’m 68 and love it

Sara Aicher: This video is fantastic! Just some minor tweaks after watching this made my last blowout so much better than usual!! Which size of round brush is this? I may have to buy this exact one!

Kimberly Bailey: Thank you so much. I just stumbled upon your channel while searching for help with my hair. Your wife is brilliant with her idea. Please keep making your videos. Love them.

Jenny Jen: Absolutely well explained, thank you sir

josie caruso: So glad I stumbled across your channel. I'm enjoying them immensely and learning so much. I wanted to ask you if the Dyson hairdryer is as good as they say it is or has there now been a comparable one released by a competitor?

Melissa Nickell: Hi, I’d love to see more about thinning, white hair that dries in 3 minutes. Thanks so much.

D MM: Hi Justin! What are your thoughts on the all in one stylers, like Bedhead or Revlon volumizing brushes? I don’t like using a separate brush and dryer (too clumsy!). Are they more damaging? Any special tips for these types of dryers?

Jennifer Reiland: Justin- thank you for posting links to products. Can you tell me what size barrel you use on your wife’s hair for the round brush? My hair is similar length. Love your videos! Please keep them coming!

Michele Shows-Martinez: Thank you. I have asked so many hairstylist over the years 'Show me how ro do what yor doing to my hair, as I do it myself" & not one person has helped me out. I do not ave straight hair, like your model - but I do like to blow my hair out now and then. I have very wavy/thick hair. If you ever have a model with the same hair type, I would appreciate a demonstration. Thank you, again.

N P: Justin, thank you. This vid helped my hair look a bit better. Great tip on how to distribute mousse and shine products. The only thing is, I'm still not sure I'm holding blowdryer correct. I'll watch vid again.

Darien Chrysafis: Your instruction on waving with a straightening iron was helpful. Thanks!

Monika: WOW! I discovered your channel an hour ago, and have binge watched since! Your personality and your hairskills are amazing! Your generosity in hairtips is outstanding! I live in Norway, but if I take a USA trip I will visit you! Maybe next year, I hope.

Litzaztil: It is not easy at all to do at home what the professional does in the salon. We could clearly see this. Great video. Realistic. Please bring us more of this. Thank you

terry carney: I have fine hair but a lot of it and my issue is that no matter what I do, what products I use, when I finish styling (even if I use a generous amount of hair spray), my style falls flat and looks like I haven't done anything as soon as my hair is moved - I.e. I shake my head, a gentle breeze moves it. My current arsenal of products is: thickening spray (applied at roots and all over), thickening mousse (optional), hair spray. For the crown I use hair spray for each section before back combing. If I didn't use spray, the back combing would not work because my hair just slides out as I reposition the section. Thank you for doing these videos - your instructions are clear and very thorough! Terry from Cambridge Ontario

Heather Ryan: Just found your videos, tremendously helpful tutorials. Will be getting the brush and products you use. Thank you!

Felicia M: Im so uncoordinated when I try to do this. Going to keep practicing.

clipinqueen: What a great idea for a video. Really enjoyed this and learned a lot!

DH L: Thank you thank you thank you!!! So many helpful tips that I've never heard of from other hair tutorials! I rarely subscribe to channels but now I'm subbing immediately!

Tania: So glad I found your channel. What a brilliant idea your wife had, clever woman! It’s going to help me so much.

Patricia Fennell: First your wife is beautiful! I am so glad you had her donit because that's true. When you are at the salon and they are blowing drying, round brushing or curling your hair you get home and you can't do it yourself. Thank you so much! I would love to see one with her curling her hair.

Tahsina Ahmed: Thank you, this video was very helpful. What speed setting do you use on your blow dryer?

Justine Bourke: I never use a hairdryer or heated instruments on my hair. When I do ( rarely ) visit a hair salon I am always aware of how they abuse the clients'hair with water that's too hot followed by scrubbimg the hair into knots then roughly combing them out...Then they finish by heat blasting it again! ( and this msy be after a harsh chemical treatment ). It's little wonder how many women complaim of their hair being in such poor condition.

Maria Ahlquist: Wow, that was awesome. That was perfect, to use your beautiful wife to sit in and do it rather than you. I learn so much. Also for clearly explaining the whys and don't's on drying the hair. Thank you so much. I always enjoy your videos.

Stela B: Great, informative video – learned a lot. I notice you use Olivia Garden pro-thermal brush. Would you recommend this one over the ceramic or the nano-thermic one?

brenda desmarais: You have the gift of teaching Thank you

Brooke Escobedo: Love your videos! I couldn't find the review for the Dyson blow dryer. I have fine curly hair and it fizzes so easily. I wonder if this blow dryer is worth the price? Thank you!!

ThuyTien NgoNguyen: Thank you for the tips. Love it. Also love the Dyson, I own one as well.

Brenda Alvizo: Thank you for the lesson. I just cut my hair to the bottom of my neck and it has few layers. I'm not sure how to blow dry or style this. Can you show me how to style short hair, please?

FA Vargas: Great great vídeo Justin!! Thanks so much for this info!!! Have a fantastic day and rest of the week

Kimmi McKnight: So for those of us who can't afford to plunk down almost $400. for a Dyson blow dryer with attachments, what should we do? I currently have a Remington All That! blow dryer and i can't find the attachment you're using on your beautiful wife's hair that will fit my blow dryer. I'm on Disability and $ is TIGHT...

Teresa: I bought the Oliver round brush and love it. Learning these techniques will help me better with blow driving my hair.

Jouncyg: I would have liked to see the entire process. My arms always get tired. How do you get to the back? Good video. Difficult to hear, however.

Lisa Van Gemert | Gifted Guru: One thing I notice is that my round brush works much better when it's clean! That may sound obvious, but if it's loaded with hair, the heat doesn't get through evenly.

tmvcml: Wonderful!! This is exactly what I needed!! I have no clue & now I do.

gloria Hampton: I loved your videos.i have fine life less hair. I'm definitely going to give these products a try. I'm wondering thought about the mythical oil, if it's going to be too dense for my hair

A R: You are a really good teacher great information!

shanigo1: When I blow dry my hair and use a brush, i always finish it with a cool setting and this locks in the wave and smooths the hair

Joanne Walker: I just found your channel. Thank you. It is amazing and so are you. I was wondering why my hairstylist makes my hair look perfect and I can’t ever get the same look. I have wavy hair and my hair looks frizzy. I am 61 and color my hair. When I try to dry the back of my hair and it gets tangled a lot. Any suggestions?

H. Olsen: Great instruction. I'm going to watch the Dyson dryer review too.

cath taylor: This is ideal because it shows how to do our own hair rather than you do it, the position of the brush and dryer was so helpful, I’d like to know how to use straighteners but keeping some height and body to the style too please x

Maria Caldwell: Beautiful Couple! You guys work well together ❤

Ashley Wright: I always learn from your great videos! Thank you!

ZsaZsa K: I wished you focused more attention on the back of the head because that’s the most difficult to style.

Nena Gonzalez: J’adore sa manière d’expliquer, merci
