In this self french fishtail braided autumn/fall 2011 hair tutorial I'll show you how to create two cute and versatile hairstyles without heat or teasing. I start from a big side swept braid and then transform it into an elegant braided updo a-la "faux bob" with a assymetric touch to it. These hairstyles work best on wavy or curly medium long hair, both layered hair and hair of the same length. If your hair is longer than that, you can either put into a messy braid or create a bun using one of the techniques that I've shown in my previous videos.
The stylish french fishtail braid keeps your hair away from the face and neck and it's a great casual hairstyle with an elegant touch that you can wear to school, college, university, work and office. The second updo hairstyle is a little bit more formal and it is suitable for special occasions such as prom, homecoming, graduation party, ball, reception or wedding guests. Properly accessorized, this red carpet hairstyle will also look great as a bridal or bridesmaid updo. Both hairdos are very romantic and they are great for the first date, a night out, a party, dancers (for a dance competition) and all kind of evening events.

Hi guys today, I will show you two stylish hair stands based on French fishtail braids. The first one is great for everything. Well, the second one is a little bit more formal. The fairy style works best on curly. My own hair is absolutely straight so to prepare it for this hairstyle. I have curled it overnight. This time I have used foam, hair, rollers, they're, very soft, bandy and very comfortable to sleep on. I have made another tutorial where I talk about this technique in detail. So if you want to get all the information about it, please check it out. This hairstyle is based on a French fishtail braid, so this is what I'm going to create right now. I part my hair on the side. You can see that I have slapped with a parting on the other side of my head, and this is what gives me all this volume and the lift to my roots. Changing the fartin to the other side of my head, I'm going to take a thin section of hair next to the part in split it in two and then I'll be repeating the following steps. I bring a thin strand of hair from the outside of one of the section and add it to the hair. On the other side, I'm going to take a thin strand of hair from the outside of the other section, also bring it over and add it to the hair. On the other side - and this point I want to start incorporating some hair to my braids, so the next time I bring the hair to the other side. I section the hair next to my braids and also bring it over and pass to the hair on the other side. Now I section some more hair from the outside, bring it forward and is able to add some more hair to my braids. This is what I do and then it's over and add it to the other section. I repeat the steps many times at this point. I want to stop for a moment and we'll remise, my braids by folding six strands of hair out long so great. So this is all I have to do and I keep on great in my hair to our red wine one more time I make little break just to minimize my hair, I'm adding hair from the back of my head and when I break behind my ear. I also want to add the hair that lies right under the braid once there is no more hair left to add, I keep on creating a regular fishtail braids. I will stop for one more moment to pull mines the hair above the split. Finally, I secure my braid in place using a small, clear elastic. I can still make all sort of Corrections and adjustments, anything that makes my braid look more interesting after that is great. This finished, so this is what it looks like, and if your hair is much longer than mine, you could also create a big voluminous messy braid, using the technique that I've shown in one of my previous videos. Apart from having the side braid, we could have created interesting up to so I'm removing my elastic I'm doing the braid till the level of my ear, and at this point I want to keep on French fishtail braids in my hair. But now I want to direct all my hair. It'S worth my view at this point. I would want to swap my hands because it will no longer be possible to use my right hand to be adding hair from the other side. Now it's going to be my left hand. This is how the braiding process looks like from the back once there is no more hair left to add. I braid the ends of my hair into a regular fishtail braid. Now I want to roll this fishtail braid and secure it in place how this hairstyle is finished. So this is how it looks like, and I'm also going to show you how it looks like from the back.
