5 Minute Easy Claw Clip Hairstyles// Get The 90S Look

Hey everybody welcome back to my channel. I'M super excited to be filming. Today i have a fun video for you guys, planned it's a updated claw clip routine on my channel a few months ago. I did a video on claw clips and how to achieve three different looks, so i thought i'd hop on here today and do an updated routine, especially because i have 10 inches cut off my hair. So that's gon na be a little different, but you know i'll link that other one down below, especially if you have long hair, maybe it'll be easier to follow, but this is just basically to get to know the style and how to do the technique. So if you guys want to keep on watching and see how i achieve these looks then just keep on watching. Okay! So for my first look today, we're going to be doing a half up half down and i'm going to go right here and grab my claw clip. This is a nice little gold one! You can use any that you guys prefer. This is just the one that i like it matches my jewelry, my necklace, so i thought it would go nice, i'm going to show you guys a front view of how i do it and then i'll turn to the side and show you guys the side. So, basically, i'm going to do a half a path down and for all these looks, if you notice you will notice um, i like to leave little pieces hanging out. That'S just how i like um the hair to frame my face. You can pull it all back. If you like - but this is just what i prefer so i'm going to take my fingers and basically take a straight line all the way back until they connect at the center of my head okay, so this is what i'm working with so i figured now is A good time for me to turn to the side, so you guys can see how i clip everything together. So the hair is all gathered now taking my clip, i'm just going to clamp it and pull out my pieces. So this is it from the side. Okay, so this is the front. I just pulled out a few more pieces because i, like everything, framed super nicely around my cheeks um. This is a super, easy look and basically, if i just want my hair half pulled back, this is look i always go for. So, let's jump into look number two of the day. This is gon na, be a full hairstyle, full updo. So i'm gon na take this down shake out the hair, and now i'm going to go in with my larger claw clip, and this is going to be the french twist. This is my favorite look. I used to watch my mom. Do this hairstyle growing up all the time and i always love the way it looks so i'm super happy that it's back in style and trending right now, because i love it and i always rock it so i'm going to gather my hair in a low ponytail At the back of my neck, just like this, so now, i'm going to turn to the side to show you guys um a side view, because it's easier this way. So i have the hair gathered going with my clip. I'M going to twist just like that as much hair possible, a little piece came out then going with my clip, i'm going to secure everything and now i'm going to pull out some pieces. So this is a side view, and this is the look from the front. It'S on my go to look super simple, easy. You can just throw it up twist, it clip it and it's cute, because if you get like trendy clips like this, you can just clip them to your bag and take them anywhere with you.
