Hi, ladies welcome to my channel, my name is yasser today, i'm showing you 10 cornrow natural hair, protective hairstyles, because i figured that it would be a good way to get inspiration, and if this is your first time on my channel, this is a really good introduction. On what i do on my channel and if you are a subscriber thank you for coming back and watching if you have missed any of these hairstyles, i'm going to leave the full length versions of them linked down below in the description section. So just click whichever one you want to see more of. If you're new on the channel, you should know that i upload natural hair videos. I try my best to upload twice a week on wednesday and on saturday and the reason i really started. My channel was because i was having struggles on styling, my natural hair, and actually i noticed that a lot of ladies were having that as well, and i think really. The trouble is that we really overthink it so much so in this video and in all the other videos on my channel. I really just show like really easy, really basic ways to style your natural hair and change it up a little bit and seeing that i have over 100 videos on this channel really shows that there's so many easy ways to style our natural hair. I know when you see cornrows some of you get really like. Oh my god, this is not basic or this is not easy. But if you watch my channel from the beginning, you know that i did not know how to conroll. When i started this channel about two years ago, but i have really taught myself and i've really enjoyed this journey, it's really amazing. How taking care of my natural hair has really helped me become more in touch with myself, with loving myself, and just i guess, developing a self-care routine and including my hair in it has really impacted my self-esteem and the way i take care of myself the way I see myself so if you're watching this, please don't get threatened, and this is basically just a way to remind yourself to take care of yourself. If that, for you is doing your hair or doing other things, then you should really include a lot more of those things in your lifestyle, everyday lifestyle and try to find a little bit of time. I know life is busy, but girl. You need that time. For yourself, for me, one of those ways is taking care of my hair and, if you're watching this video, i'm assuming for you that you also enjoy, we are trying to start taking care of your own hair. So please don't get threatened. Take time relax if you cannot control, then watch other videos and learn slowly by slowly. Don'T stress yourself because girl! This is self-care time, not stress yourself time and learn and just do whatever you can right now. If you've watched my channel and all the other videos you've seen how i've progressed, i've learned how to do things like cornrowing my own hair, because i didn't know that at the beginning and i've learned to do so. Many other things, and one of the ways that i actually really do like simple hairstyles, is really milking the little skills that i've learned like if you see like all these hairstyles they're, really simple basic, probably like two or three or four cornrows hairstyle, and they basically Just use accessories such as this one to make the styles look pretty, make them look different and have people asking wow your hair looks so good. How did you do that, and it's really just when you look at it honestly, it's just like simple basic things. So, let's really stop overthinking our natural hair care and do the basics you don't have to do so. Many like complicated hairstyles. Like i don't know, people do like the complicated stuff like to the point where it makes you feel like you cannot do it or that you have to hire someone to do it and honestly, sometimes money is tight. If you can do this, then it saves you money honestly, it saves you time because having to book appointments can be a headache, and also, ladies, i don't know like how to explain how taking care of my natural hair has really impacted. My self-love journey my self-esteem. It has really changed the way. I look at myself and how i look at my hair honestly. At the beginning, i really thought my hair to be problematic to be hard to take care of painful to comb, but the more i go along on this natural hair journey, like the more different i feel about my hair, like to the point where i'm really in Love with my hair now i can't say that that's how i felt at the beginning of my natural hair journey, so just the more you do it and honestly, if you can do it yourself, the better, it really helps you connect with your hair. It also helps you basically demystify all those things that people say about our natural hair being kinky being hard being not pretty, because you realize there's so many things you can do with it and even if you just wear your natural hair afro out, our hair is Beautiful and the only way you're going to land, that is by learning, to take care of it yourself. It'S only a problem if you cannot take care of it yourself, but the moment you learn how to take care of it yourself. It really changes. How you see it - and i don't know if you guys have ever had a part of something that you dislike it makes you dislike the whole thing. So if you dislike your hair, which basically grows like this - and it's never going to stop growing like this you're already disliking a big part of yourself - that you cannot change so for me, like loving, my hair has really really improved my self-love journey and how i Take care of myself and i really try to do hairstyles that are really simple, really quick to do. If you cannot control. I have so many other hairstyles that you can check out on my channel on my channel. That will help you with that. So just take your time and use this time to really connect with yourself and enjoy this journey as you're learning. Please don't stress yourself if you cannot do it right now, you cannot do it do other things that you can do and continue to practice. One thing that i actually advise you to learn to do is how to cornrow, just because there's so many ways that you can play up your hairstyles as you're doing cornrows, which is basically all of these videos. I think you'll laugh at the end because you realize how easy and simple uh they are, but they look different and they help you change up your look, i love changing up. My look, it just makes me feel like a new woman, and i love that i can do that in. Like you know, 20 15 minutes kind of thing.
