Waterfall Braid Tutorial - Hairstyles For Medium Hair & Hairstyles For Long Hair

Waterfall Braid Tutorial - hairstyles for medium hair & hairstyles for long hair

Hey guys today, I'm going to show you this really beautiful, braid called a waterfall braid. This is going to start out just like a normal French braid you're gon na take three strands of hair and put the left strand over the middle strand and then put the right strand over the middle strand and you're gon na add hair to the left strand And put that over the middle strand, and then here's where the braid differs. I completely release that strand of hair and pick up a new strand of hair behind it and put that over the middle section. Next, I treat the left side exactly the same as always: adding hair and putting it over the middle section. Then I release the right section, grabbed a new piece and put it over the middle section. Now I'm grabbing new hair, adding it to my left side and putting that over the middle and released again picking up a new hair and putting it over the middle. Now I'm grabbing hair from the left side, adding it to the left side and putting that whole section over the middle, releasing the right and picking up a new strand of hair and putting it over the middle now adding hair to the left side, putting it over The middle section and releasing the right section - and you just continue to do that until you are, as far back as you want to go and I'm going to secure this with a jeweled bobby, pin that I got from forever 21. I'M just going to slide it right into the braid, and now I'm done down below, please let me know if you found this video helpful and give me any suggestions you have for future videos or anything else like that, be sure to give me a thumbs up. If you enjoyed this video and please stick around for more thanks, so much guys, I

Jessie Celis: OMG thank you so much for this tutorial!! I absolutely love it! Thank you for sharing with us...some people can be so mean when people like us who don't know how to do cute things like this to our hair ask for advise or help. So thank you! :)

MSswishaha: Thank you! I have used many of your hair tutorials and I LOVE them! You make it so easy to do!

Xenia Ntavarinou: Honestly, I owe you a big thank you! I just did this and solved the case of my constantly messy looking curly, shoulder-length hair! Now my locks look cute and playfull insteady of a messy, uncombed bush!!! THANKS!!!

Bittenshy: I've just discovered your videos but they are amazing! Such simple and yet beautiful hairstyles! And you explain really very well. Thanks so much. I love this one, gonna try it today. You're really talented at this and thanks so much for sharing. I hope I'll be good at braids half as much as you!

Kati Eskelinen: So beautiful :) I have a passion for hairstyles and I love to do them :) Ty for doing these tutorials <3

hippoland100: Thank you so much for uploading this video. I have watched so many other videos and they didn't help at all. Yours was great!! Thank you!! You are gorgeous!!!

Debra King: Love the video, love all your videos! Many of your hairstyles seem to be aimed for longer hair, maybe you could add some videos for shoulder length hair? Thanks :)

Simply Extensions: I can tell talent when I see it. Great work!!!

Jay Panha: Loe this look! I will try this thanks!

berrymerrymakeup: This is so cute! :)

Ana Mari Marcos: very nice I loved it because the way you explained it is so easy I will do it tomorrow! Thanks!

Ali K: This helped a lot! I love your tutorials. If anyone watches make it or break it you know how Lauren tanner sometimes does that hairstyle where her hair is up in a top knot or a bun of some kind but she has that braid in the front? She does it a lot so I'm sure any episode you watch will show it somewhere but I really want to know how to do it. Thanks!

asksash88: @adja999 thanks! yeah my hair is naturally straight so it helps me avoid a lot of work. So after you blow dry it do you ever flat iron the tops layers? You could also try using a round brush which should help polish, straighten and give volume to your hair :)

MSswishaha: I couldn't either, until about a few weeks ago. Practice baby! You will get it! I never thought that I would be able to do it, but now I can. It is hard at first, though. You got this!!

adja999: @asksash88 Yes, I've done that for years. Gone with the straight look for more simplicty. So, you'd advise blow dry, then flat iron the top layers, then curl if I want some waves. Wow, I'd have to get a massive heat protector. :S I always wondered whether using a flat iron first to get rid of the strands that defy gravity (because, I swear, they do) wouldn't in some way counteract the curling iron? I guess not. I'll just have to use lots of product, as my hair won't hold the curls without help.

thethingabouthappiness: I absolutely love this braid... By the way, I don't mean this to be weird or anything, but you're really pretty! :)

Raul Lopez: Thanks so much for the vids. I'm a single dad with 2 girls and u keep their hair from looking super crazy!! Lol... On another note, u have a beautiful smile!!

어느샌가 시작된 덕질: WOW!!! IT'S SO CUTE !!!!!

smilealexislovesya: this helps so much, deff using for homecoming. i saw the tutorial on meganandliz's channel but it was cofusing, thanks

Emily Jimenez: Thank you this was sooo much better than other videos!!!! xD

Miosotis: Cool! Going to try it!!

asksash88: @lalalaitscho yeah the reason I did this video is because I got multiple requests from people who didn't understand the other tutorials they had watched and they like the way I explain braids...sometimes it takes people several different ways of explaining to finally get it :)

adja999: Oh, this is so cute and the idea is so simple! And yet... wouldn't have thought of it. :) I have a question for you. Your hair seems naturally straight (ish, at least), mine is wavy as hell. I think it might be why, when I blowdry it, it sort of frizzes all over the top layers. Do you have a way of avoiding that, or something to tame it down after? It's the reason why I let my hair dry naturally, but I'd like to be able to blow dry my new bangs. Thank you!

Rak27297: Can you do a braided headband video ? Thanks :)

LivingMyLife22: very helpful!

KellyBelB: This was very helpful other videos don't show how to only do it halfway like that and still be sleek, thank you!

Ellie Hebenton: i think this is a wonderful hairstyle and all but is that your natural hair color if so how do you keep it so shiny if not what shade of blonde do you dye it ? x

mahjani basraf: I WIsh i can do it also all by myself...

Rak27297: @asksash88 I've sent it :)

asksash88: @adja999 If you wanted some waves maybe you should just curl your hair with the straightener? you might want to ask some gurus who have wavy/curly hair...I know that legallybrunette214 has a video on curly hair products she likes...sorry I'm not more help!
