Everyone steven is Salonga here and happy Thursday. I hope you all are doing great now. Today, I've got a tutorial for you and I've gotten lots of requests for cutting curly hair. Now I've done a haircut kind of like on wavy hair, but this is really really curly hair. I mean look at this. This whole thing is really really tight curls. This is a mannequin from hair art products. I get on my mannequins from here our products calm. It'S in the description below, but what I'm going to do is I'm going to show you guys how to cut really curly hair it had it had a layer it and the thing about curly hair is that it shrinks up a lot, especially something this curly, and This kinky here it really really curls up quite a bit, so you have to make sure that you know what kind of you know length you want, because if you cut even you know, half an inch, it's going to really almost shrink up an inch. I mean it really jumps up. So one minute is I'm going to create a nice layered shape here, and you know cut some of this off into the back here and just give it a nice shape and show you guys how to take on a layered haircut. For curly hair, so let's get started. The first thing we're going to do is we're going to establish our length in the back now remember if we cut this to right here, it'll shrink up too bad here. If we cut it to here, it'll shrink up to about right here, but since I want to go kind of like a medium length to a little bit more on the shorter side. As far as this haircut goes, I'm going to cut the length knowing that it's going to shrink up to about maybe right into here. Okay, so first step establish our guide and our section right here on the base and we're going to cut it straight across. Okay, now, if you're cutting curly hair for the first time, it's going to react quite differently than straight here: okay, because it wants to jump around it wants to curl up, and especially, if you're cutting quite a bit off. It'S kind of now look at that look at see how much it shrank up. That'S pretty wild, that's what curly hair is going to do so if you are looking to keep length, do not cut it! This short, you want to always keep that in mind. The hair will jump up like this. Okay, you always want to go back in double-check, hold it straight down and make sure you're good to go next section we're going to bring this down and we're going to establish our length one more time in through here and then we're actually going to be able To start layering the hair, so I'm going to try to break this down step-by-step with you guys, because I know for my technical haircuts. You guys want to see you know a little more in detail, so our next section here again cutting the length holding it straight across. I'Ve got a pretty good amount of tension here on the bottom and, as you can see again, it's jumping straight up now right in the corner here. What I'm doing is I'm holding it right behind the ear? I'M not overextending this way, because I want to maintain the length throughout here, so I'm slightly, you know not really over directing, but I'm combing it and keeping it straight down like this right. There see I'm not pulling it out this way, because if I do it's going to kind of round out a little too much and I might cut too much length, so the best thing to do is to keep it straight within this kind of box and through Here the next section is where I want to start to layer the hair now, as you can see here, we're ready to kind of go in through the different body positioning and hand positioning okay, because now we have our length, establish and look what this is done. Already you created a nice shape, see the difference. So if you want to do a one length haircut on curly hair, that's great it'll kind of bounce up anyway, you can create a nice solid shape if you want, but I do want to create some layers in through here and create a nice soft layered shape. What I'm going to do now is I'm going to pick up where I last left off on my length and what I'm going to do is there's the length right there, I'm going to comb it straight out from the head and I'm cutting upwards. Now all right. I'M literally pulling everything straight out, which is 90 degrees and uses, as you can see, I'm cutting up and I'm following the round of the head. This is all literally straight out, okay, and what this is doing. It'S going to keep a beautiful nice shape all the way throughout here. As you can see, it's got a nice flow to it. You can extend it down if you want down like this, just to make sure it all does blend in nicely, even though we didn't really layer the bottom here, it's sometimes a good option. If you do want to make sure you remove that weight, okay. So what we're going to do now is we're going to push this hair out of the way you want to make sure you have clean neat sections and through here just keep yourself organized we're just going to pick up where we left off combing it straight out And working up the head shape and, as you can see, you're going to follow this pattern and it makes life a lot easier, holding it straight up now up here and again following the same pattern. So I want you to continue to do this working through this side, and one little trick in through here is when you get to this. Just like we kept in this behind the ear here in this box area. Alright, what you want to do is you want to pull this straight back this way. Okay, let me show you from the side here. This is what it looks like combing it straight back like this. I'M not pulling it out this way, because I want to retain that weight in through here to give me some protection. So it's not too thin down here and there's no holes or gaps. So continue to do that and we will pick up when we're done with the back of the head, so I'm done with the back. I just want to show you how beautiful this shape is and look at this. It'S got a beautiful nice rounded shape in through here a really nice clean base, and this is crucial when you're cutting curly hair is you have to see. You know how it's taking shape and also your you have to cut it to pretty much. No, it's going to jump up and you're, creating the shape in it while you're cutting so everything you do it's going to basically react to it. You know just like that so by leaving the length in through here, like we kind of pulled it straight back this way, you know now we have that extra weight that we need in through here, as you can see, so it's not too thin throughout the bottom. We'Ve got and we've got a nice beautiful shape now, just to make sure that everything is you know, even you can cross-check simply by pulling everything straight out and comb, it pull it towards you and you might again on this corner here it's going to be a Little bit longer, which is okay, because we need that weight into here, don't get freaked out. When you see that it's like a lot long, I'm using the wide teeth of the comb as well, because I wan na with curly hair, I like to keep it a bit softer and a little bit looser. So I'm using the why teeth of the comb. But when you do cross that configure, you will see it. This is a lot longer, but what, when you do cross check, you just want to make sure that your your balance is very accurate, because now this is a little bit longer and through here, probably because I've had too much drink already. No I'm kidding I'm kidding, but what you need to do is simply just pull it back and look there. It is right there, okay, there's, that little corner that needs to come off alright and that's why cross sucking is crucial. So just go back in all right fix this up in through here and now we're ready to move in through the length on the sides and since we're on a roll, I'm just going to keep going here. I'M not going to stop so now. It'S time to cut connect the back in through the sides and the front. Ok, so what I'm doing as you can see here, I'm combing it straight down now. Here I want to use the fine teeth, because I do want to have it a little bit tighter into here, because we're creating our base all right. You want to make sure that you are pulling it down a little bit tighter, because you want to make sure that it's not going to shrink up and jump up where it's too much shorter into the sides. So it's always best to have it a little bit. Longer into the front don't be, you know, don't be afraid of that. It'S actually a little bit better. Okay, there we go now. What I want to do is I want to angle this upwards. This way, I want to create just like a little bit of a face rein, just a little bit of a face frame to open this up and to give it some softness throughout the front and how I'm doing it again. I'M just pulling it straight down like this angling, my fingers upwards and I'm creating the face frame just like that, and you see how that's sprung up like that. That'S what curly hair is going to do, but the good thing is here is we have that little protection here, because we left it a little bit longer and it might be a couple little hairs here and just trim those up. Okay, so do the same thing on the other side and look see what we did. We left that right in through here and we've got a nice solid base, lot strong line and through here, okay and do the same thing on the other side and the ready to layer. The top. Now it's time to layer, the top and how we're going to do. That is we're going to connect this the back here with the top, the actual top, so we have two top back and then the actual top of the head. So what we're doing is we're following where we left off and remember: we pulled everything straight out from the head, keeping it 90 degrees, which basically means it's straight out. Okay, your left elbow. If you drop it down too much, be careful, don't get lazy, keep that elbow, pre, pretty tight and and parallel okay, because if you drop the elbow you're going to start to create different angles in the head and then the haircut you want to make sure you Stay pretty consistent because if you go like this you're going to layer, if you go like this you're going to build weight and graduation on top of it, this is going to help keep you nice and even so, continue to do this throughout the whole. Back of the top back of the head here and we're just going to continue this in through to where we get both sides completes all right right in through the corner. Alright, one last section there done now we're going to go back to the middle and now we're going to do this same thing on the other side. Okay, there's your guide, we're good and if I'm going too fast, you can always pause the video and pick up where we left, you know pick up. We left off, don't be afraid to just pause the video when you're watching these so now we're working, probably one or two more sections and we're going to continue to follow the same method that we did in through the back we're going to just comb. It kind of this way so we're maintaining and that weight okay, so we're kind of like over directing and we're pushing away from us. So we keep that weight in through the corners. We don't want to create any holes or any sort of you know disconnection, so that is done now now. This is all connected now, it's time to actually go in through the top, and all you need to do is pick up where we left off on your last section. Now we're going to be cutting and the you can see here's the front of the head right here, we're going to be cutting basically in this one panel straight back like this. So now we're holding everything straight and we're going to leave the corners out all right. There'S a guide right there again your arms everything's parallel and we're going to cut it straight across. Okay, now again be careful with curly hair because it's going to want to, you know, bend and take a new shape as you're combing it and as you're cutting it. So take your time don't rush it. You want to keep those fingers on your nice hands and one last section in through the front and we're combing it straight up like this. So it's going to create a little bit of over direction because when you pull it straight up in the front, it's kind of over dragging back, which is fine, totally fine. Okay, now, let's keep going so now. What we're going to do is we're going to actually connect the corners, the top into the corners here. Let'S start right back here, we're going to pull it straight out from the head all right. Everything is straight out, work right towards the bottom section and there you see what needs to be cut and let that drop out. Okay, next section same thing straight out now, my elbow is pointed upwards. This way, which is allowing me to layer, the hair and there you go last section we're going to kind of over direct slightly back like this, and there you go doesn't matter. If you, you can cut, you know top bottom or work from the bottom and go upwards. It'S totally up to you, but sometimes I like to change it up. So here is the last section into this side here and let me just show you guys how beautiful this looks and what that's done all right. Look at that see this gorgeous. It'S got beautiful, cruel to it. It'S got a beautiful shape and you really can't go wrong with this. Okay, just ignore this side, even though it looks pretty good, but this is pretty much completely done and look look what a solid base you have here, all right so continue. The same technique same pattern on the other side, the corner and then to the side here and then I'll show you some really cool tricks at to adding some additional texture to curly hair. Before we finish, alright, the haircut is complete eet's in the back the top. I just want to show you guys how nice this looks. Alright, I parted this pretty much down the middle, so you can wear it right down the middle or you can wear to the side. But let's just spin spin this head around here and look how beautiful that is. Okay, there's no lines! I know whatsoever, it's not bashed up, it's got a beautiful flow to it and if you follow this pattern, I'm telling you you cannot go wrong with this. This is a beautiful classic, layered haircut for curly hair. Now here's where the fun is going to begin. Hopefully, you've been having fun so far, but now we're going to add some texture to it. So we're going to take our shears just a regular shear that we've been cutting with all along it's a little trick that I do and it works pretty well just if you don't feel comfortable doing it do not do it, but you've seen some of my videos. I do point cutting okay. What I'm going to do is I'm going to just point cut and notch into the hair like this, alright in different different layers and different sections. Here I'm working my way up the head and what I'm doing is I'm just creating little chips into it that helps remove a little bit of weight. It adds some additional texture. Okay, I'm not going in deep at all, I'm literally just chipping just on the very tips of it like this here. Okay, you can lift the hair up like that, a little bit. Alright, you see I'm just working my hands and working around the head shape. Okay same thing: throughout the side here, alright just kind of notch into it like this, it breaks up the curl a little bit add some great dimension to the to the cut. It really enhances the curl. This is a great great little trick here that I do all the time on curly hair, even on the top here, you can bring it up like this and again when you style it, it really really enhances everything. Don'T forget this side and it's great if it's a little too heavy to in certain areas. It'S also good. If you want to just pretend you're showing off hey, you don't even have to cut hair, you can just do this and the clients are like wow. This is awesome, so you just want to continue to work throughout the head shape like this and pretty much. You can bring it back like this. You can do a lot with it. You know just just if you don't feel comfortable. You know practice on a mannequin before you do it on a human, because you know you don't want to overdo it. So now the haircut is pretty much complete. As you can see, it's got great shape to it now for styling, okay. This is where it gets interesting for styling with hair this curly. You really don't want to do too much to it. You want to use you know a hair cream, some sort of mousse a gel. If you want, you know more firm curls, but I like to put some sort of cream in it and then really just kind of scrunch the product through to make sure it's evenly distributed and I'll show you guys how to do that right now. So when it is like cocktail two products together and with whether your hair straight, whether it's curly you can cocktail product together, that basically means you're mixing on few different products together. Okay, now make sure each product is going to do something all right. Each product has to have a purpose, so use a little crow cream to enhance the curl use uh. You know a styling cream, maybe a light gel and that's going to help, give it a little bit of hold. So what you really want to do is really really work this in and just kind of what I'm doing is I'm raking it down like this. I'M just kind of scrunching it and I'm trying to you know not disrupt the curl too much, but this is the only way to really get product through. Is you really have to work it through, but I'm not brushing it because you really really do not want to do that. You don't want to create a frizzy mess with this. Alright, so just really scrunch it in and more you scrunch it. The curl is going to lift up okay, so you have one of two options me personally, I like to dry it just a little bit with a diffuser, but barely you know you just want to hold that diffuser now I'll show you in a second or you Can leave it as is, and if you leave it, as is you let it air dry and it'll dry. Just like this, I might shrink up a little bit, but it's got a beautiful natural look and I don't like to mess with curly hair too too much. But let me show you guys what a diffuser looks like and how I would dry this if I were using one. This is a diffuser okay, it's just like a nozzle. It comes right off and depending what dry are using some, they make their own it just snaps right on okay. So what you want to do is use low heat and weather diffuser. What you're basically going to do, is you don't want to touch it too much? Okay, if anything, you want to just give it a squeeze and put the hair in the diffuser like this, and let it sit there. Okay, just be careful, you don't want to. You know get to get it too hot in her scalp, because you could burn the person, but you do not want to shake the hair. You don't want to disrupt the cruel. You want to really be very gent very soft with this and let the natural curl do all the work. Okay and keep the dryer on. This is a lower setting like a lower setting right here, alright and you're just going to do this, and really just let the diffuser do what it's got to do. Okay, do not disrupt the curl and just let the natural curl come out. Let your beautiful haircut do all the work all right and I always like to leave it. You know a little bit damp as well. I don't usually fully dry it, and then you can finish it off with a little bit of hairspray or spray gel. I usually prefer a spray gel on curly hair or nothing at all, just whatever you put in it alright and, as you can see, look at how beautiful this is. It'S got a beautiful shape to it. Then you can work. The curl in you can work on the whole shape and really you know you do a great haircut and the hair coat will speak for itself. Well guys. I really really hope you enjoyed this tutorial. I had a lot of fun doing it and, as you know, on my Thursday videos it's geared more towards you know. Sarcastically Deranged: Why do so many hairdressers not know how to cut wavy/curly hair? It's frustrating!

Julie H: I'm trying to learn how to cut my own hair since 99.9% of hairstylists cannot cut this hair texture properly. It's so frustrating! Thank you for this video!

Sara Cothran: i am a hair student and these videos have taught me so much more than my instructors! i really do want to thank you!!! <3

Joyce Chirill: I tried it and finally my hair has some shape and looks lady like. Thank you!!

mellowfishie: Thank you SO MUCH!! I clicked through this video, saw the end result, and said YES. This is exactly what I've been wanting! Then I went back and watched it all the way through like 5 times, compared it with the other version posted in 2017 (when you mentioned in that video about the dreaded triangle shape, I felt it in my SOUL. I HATE it when my hair looks like a triangle!), bought an $8 pair of haircutting shears, a $1 packet of tiny hair elastics, rigged a second mirror in my bathroom so I could see the back of my head, and 2 hours later it was done!! I've never cut my own hair before, but hey, it's quarantine time, so I figured if I messed up, no big deal.... But no! My hair is ROUND! It's a beautiful shape, super easy to style using my normal method, and I was able to do it all by myself thanks to your wonderful instructions! I'm used to paying $100 at the salon just so I can be sure that my hair's not going to get butchered, but no more! I'm so so happy with this result and so grateful that you shared all the details in a really accessible way. THANK YOU!

Lauren Cox: Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video! I've been cutting my own hair for over 10 years because I cannot find anyone in my area who understands curly hair.

Aya hegazy: would hairstylists kill me if i go ahead and showed them this video before letting them cut my hair? *seriously* great skills !

Angela Hagood: After reading the comments it seems this is a frustration shared by many. I’m a cosmetology student and my instructor made our first hair cut be done on a permed mannequin. Yikes! She went on to tell us all the same things everyone is saying. She also told us if you do it successfully that clients will stay with you. Thanks for this video! I love the tips! I especially like that you shared how to style it. I love curls, I have straight stick hair , so anything that can help these clients show off their amazing curls is awesome!

Kleo Luna7: Great! That's just how I do it on clients with curly hair. Love your technique and easy-to-follow directions.

Illy: This was so easy to follow! First time I’ve ever gone this short and I love it thanks to this tutorial ✨

Flutter Girl Mystified: I'm not a professional hairdresser. My daughter has tight curls. This video sorted out some difficulties I had with connecting sides with back and top with the rest of the hair. Thank you!

LBrobie: Thank you, this makes me very happy! I've been cutting my own hair for years, because like nearly everyone else commenting here, I've learned I can't trust anyone to cut it right. Anyway, I didn't know about the 90 degree angle thing, and following the shape of the head to get it to layer nicely in the back. I'm going to try that the next time I cut it. Thank you again! :)

Dawn 💚🌟: Love this one!!! I cut curly hair all the time and it would have been awesome to have this as a study guide back then lol!!!

Isabel Cervantes: This video was perfect for showing me how to cut my mom's very curly hair, she wanted more volume and i think i did a pretty good job, better than the first time, thanks!!

Administración VASC: Thank you so much, I was expecting this tutorial for short curly hair since long time ago.   As ever, very explicit and useful.  Thanks again for sharing.   A big hug for you!

Desi Huber: I’m a new stylist, I graduated 2019. I’ve only been working in a salon for about 6 months. This video helped a lot! My boyfriend has curly hair just like this mannequin , this has helped tremendously. I’m going to use this technique from now on!

Jenny Joseph: Thank you very much. Two weeks ago i went to a hairdresser to do a layered cut on my curly hair which was below my shoulder blades in length. She did a short straight bob.I was very upset and sad. I had nightmares for a week and was still depressed about it until i came across your video. Not all hairdressers that claim to know how to cut curl hair can. i saw in your video i can still get some definition back on my hair and be curly again/ Thank you.:)

Monserrat Santiago: I enjoy a lot watching your videos, especially this one! You are, not only a great stylist, but a great teacher! I really feel the same angst other curly hair girls feel about going to get a hair cut. I really want to learn how to cut it myself, and I prefer a little longer length than it appears in this video... would you mind showing us how?

T Y: This is perfect. I love it. Problem is I can never get someone to cut my curly hair like this. It’s devastating. SOS, Steve!

PinkUnicornPrincess: This is exactly what I needed, so helpful!!! Thank you!!!

Monica Kneusel: This is great! I'm considering getting this exact cut, but it's so hard to find it on curly hair! I just started going to an amazing stylist, but all my previous stylists wanted to blow my hair out, instead of just letting it be curly.

Danielle Policarpo: Ótima explicação.Me ajudou muito. :D

Filomena Sousa: Muito bonito. Eu tenho cabelo crespo, foi uma inspiração para mim, gostei muito do corte.

Alexa Michelle: I want this length but I’m scared lol you did an amazing job!

goouldy: I want this haircut so bad! I've only gotten my hair cut a couple times in the past few years, because every time I go, I'm hugely disappointed. Even when I go to people who are supposed to be good at cutting curly hair, it turns out awful. This cut is EXACTLY what I'm looking for, but I don't know how to make it happen! Can you please fly to me and cut my hair?? :D

sam coro: I love this tutorial, it could have come in handy when I was in school!

Tracey McPheron: I'm a student and I love watching your videos for extra tips and techniques! Thank you! I have learned a lot and tried a few techniques with tremendous success!

LittleHoundVlogs: Thanks for this tutorial today. I will be using some of these techniques in the salon this weekend.

Alex Miloo: Just cut my friends curly hair with this technique and it turned out so nicely! THANK YOU

irule obv: thank you so much for posting your technique this is going to help me so much :)

A Thornton: Husband cut my hair following your video after 15 weeks since my last haircut due to Covid lockdown, He didn't do a bad job, which he definitely would have done, but for your video! Thanks!

Rebecca petit: thank you so much for this video I'm going to try to do this on my biracial five year old daughter who has curly coarse hair not as much loose curls as this mannequin but a little bit hopefully it turns out great thank you

Donna Roach Donna65stars: great work! I have a question though. I have always been told to cut curly hair dry, is this right? If I were to do the snip cutting to break up the curls wouldn't it take half the length in that area? I have a little longer than collar bone length and just want to make my curls perk up by getting some weight off of the layers.

Keely Newson: Im biracial, and my texture is this exactly!! My friend (who just passed her boards yesterday) cut my hair last August and, well...definitely would have benefitted from this video. She hadn't cut hair this curly before. I had 5 years worth of heat damage so, as you can see from my profile pic, (though it's shorter--the picture is very old) about 5 in. (Yes, FIVE) was straight... NINE INCHES of chopping later and my hair was this length when I asked for an inch below my shoulder!! Anywho, sorry for the long winded response. This is a cute cut, I may ask her to try again. ...or I'll just go to an actual salon

Camille Collazo: I wish I could share this with everyone who's ever done my hair wrong. Where in NJ is your salon?

Cato8: I’m actually nearly crying. Why is this so hard for stylists to do? Years and years of crappy haircuts on my curly hair (which is nearly identical to your mannequin’s surprisingly). I’m going to try to do this cut to myself.

Jennifer D: amazing thank you so much I love your tutorials your a fantastic artist!

Naomy Osorio: thanks soo much for this video. I really appreciate it! it has helped me a lot!

Kleo Luna7: Love your work and haircutting techniques Stephen.

sonalirnaharful: That was an amazing demonstration of curly short haircut . I have similar hair , and would like to know how to maintain them healthy ? How can I reduce the freez ? How many times is a week I need to wash and condition them for them to look healthy ? Dr Sonali , India

Roseni Santos: Nossa sem palavras !quando crescer quero ser igual a você fera !!

Lori: My stylist doesn't even section it, or pull the top straight up. She drags it back. I have all different lengths. And I tell her every time to make it all even. But no such luck. It doesn't matter who I go to they just can't get this right. Ugh. MANY stylists need to watch this. Thank you for posting:)

shycopath: This was nice! I might be tempted to wear my hair curly if it looked like that!

Elizabeth Vera: This video was great!!! I have curly hair and is so hair to find someone that "gets" curly hair! I have alot of hair and when I get it cut, the layers are always cut to low or to high. T_T Thank you for your wonderful video

fluffyspunsugar: Now if I can only get my hair dresser to watch.  She's fabu but I always end up with this boxy shape behind my ears (where my hair is really thick)  instead of this blended and rounded look you've created.  Thank you!

Angel's Music: thank you very much i have a curly hair cut today this realy helped me..... thank you Stephen !!!

Derya Deniz: Very helpful thank you so much!

blackmoonpearl: Hey Stephen, awesome as usual and so funny! Thanks on covering corners, which at times, is confusing with different cuts. :)

Jennifer Hutchison: This is a very nice style & video! Wish I could trust someone to cut my hair.

Kelsey Moreno: quick question. in the front when you start face framing what guideline do you use? do you match it to the back section?

Bonnie Mortensen: I love the curly Bob. I am ready for a new due. I hope someone around here can do it.

claudia arrejin: exelente , genial!! muchas gracias!!

TheJohasir: hello:could you make a tutorial of transition between a pixie curly and the medium curly hair? l'd like to see more haircuts for curly hair. Thank you

A. G.: Beautiful!!! ❤ That's is what I wanted but sure did not get TWICE this year. I cried A LOT. What is the name of this cut? Are you in Illinois?

Hello Duck: Why are there so many hairdressers that struggle with curly hair? This guy knows how it's done. I got my hair cut and when the bish cut it, half of my hair was the length I wanted and the other half was like 5 inches shorter. I left there looking like I came from the disco. I had a full on Afro. Imma cut my own hair soon cuz I have had only bad experiences. All hairstylist should watch your video.

Ann Englehart: I have had soooo many BAD cuts but this cut works really well for my fine thin curly hair! However, the texturizing towards the end of the video does not work for my hair--it makes it stringy and breaks up the curl pattern too much. I'm going to send this video to my next stylist.

Dama Q: Hi salon guy! I'm 55, my hair has thinned. It's super curly and I have a natural part right in the middle that won't go away. Mind you I never, ever use my natural part but it's still there, lol. I love that style and would love to have it. I noticed many salons don't seem to know how to work with curly hair and I've had Terrible experiences. For years now everything is about straightening hair so they automatically assume that's what I want with out even asking me. I've never been a fan of salons and have worn mine naturally long, it's beautiful and everyone loves it but I'm tired of having it, I'm not good at hair so this style seems very easy to maintain. Nice job. This is the tutorial I'm going to show to get this cut, lol. Thank you!!

Arlene Wilson: This is so what i need and my sia is going to do it for me soon

L.H Parte: Amazing..wish i could have someone like you in my locality so that i'll be able to wear my hair that nice....too bad for now.

Sylvia Quinones: Hi: I love this hair style . I have thin, curly hair and i really want to change to a very short hairstyle. SO... can you post a video in this style of hair .Thanks.

Andrés Un Chileno en Londres: Your lips and beard as well as the hair on your chest makes me fall in love with you.. and you're a great hair stylist too.. You're perfect! Love you! In from Chile by the way.. <3

RebelDirection_: My hair is the exact same type of curl and thickness as this mannequin and I am DYING for a haircut like this, but longer

Hoa Chin: Thank you, this technique is the best.

Luz Figueroa: You just gave me the perfect style for my type of hair that's my hair

Luz M. Mason: Love it

cindy wyant: Love it!

Yasashiichan: Would it be hard to use this method on my own curly hair?

SnowBeautyQueen: Can you please cut my hair for me? Lol I just got my haircut today and I told the lady i wanted layers & to frame my face and she totally messed up my hair! My hair is a bit longer than this, it actually goes past my shoulders. She only cut bits of my hair and didn't even try to connect the "layers". She didn't even cut one side of my hair in layers! Just left it as it was then on the other side she chopped a huge chunk of hair that is incredibly noticable! Now I have to go pay more money to get it fixed. Some where that actually knows what they are doing. I love what you did with this hair though. My hair type is the exact same as this. It would be great to get my hair done like this. Amazing job! :)

Kissy: what kind of curly air pattern is this? I have hair exactly like that, and I would love to know what products he used!

313_Det: My hair is curly and it's so hard to find someone who knows how to cut curly..... Can I get an appointment with you?

Alli son: Thank you!! Now i'll be able to cut my mama's beautiful curls

killermarty0110: Great tutorial on this, tho please I'd love to see a Joey Essex curly hair fringe haircut!

Betty Camacho: Everything was perfect right up to 14 min. Please don't do anything like that on thick curly hair. All those cut notched hairs will just stand up and out and make your hair pouf out.

Betty Bell: I have had my share of terrible hair cuts being wavy/curly hair. Wish I could have you cut my hair. With COVID I am so in need of a hair cut.

Hanna Bass: I have very curly hair and I live in Florida. Needless to say, humid season is coming. I would love to cut my hair but if I can't put it in a ponytail, it frizzes into a cotton ball. Any products that might work for me? (I REALLY hate the frizz)

Ke Ke: Thanks for mentioning the box area in the back. My instructor talked about that before in school but I still didn't understand until u just explained it.

Mowi Socram: Oh god!! thats my hair, its wavy just like the mannequin head. hehe, love it. thanks TSGuy. love your style. Bless you.

YOUNAN1111: OMG thank you thank you thank you so so so much for this wonderful video this tutorial is very helpful I'm really enjoy watching your videos you are the best love you ♥♡♥♡♥♡♥♡♥♡♥♡♥♡♥♡♥♡♥♡♥♡♥♡

nqhil: That's how my hair looks omg thank god I found my curly hair

leslie deuymovitch: Very good style. I love it, my hair thanks you

Kayla-Mariah Hinds: I'm not a hair dresser, only a client but this was very enlightening seeing as I'm going to get my hair done on Thursday. I now know what to ask for etc. Thanks!

TheeDreamVictoria: Man ur awesome. . U have saved my buns twice this week lol

Sarah Campbell: Would you do this hair cut but with longer hair, shoulder/just under shoulder length? And rounded back? I want to forward to my stylist to try.

Julie Burkhardt: What if they occasionally like to straighten their hair? Does this cut come out choppy looking when it's straightened?

Jess P.: Did it break up the curl pattern using your technique and did it frizz up when dried completey as well as shrink more? Have you tried washing it then letting the curl form and dry naturally and cutting it as is without pulling? It cuts down on frizz and it'll better show what it'll look like when dried and washed and dried at home in its natural curl pattern unbroken. I've noticed that's what worked for me. That's That's a totally awesome haircut though! I wish it was kn my head. I have 3b hair and A LOT of it.

TheFlowMind: Just cut my curly hair into a bob...didn't realize that I've cut them so short! I don't know what to do with them now!

Gladys Collazo: Love this haircut I have low density 3a 3b curly hair. Is this a good cut for me?

Stacey Halbrook: How can I get my hair dresser to understand this is how I want my hair cut without offending her? The cut she does is along the lines of this, but I can never seem to get her to understand I want a graduated bob with more volume in the sides. Short at top, longer in the middle and then longer underneath that.

doris goodhind: Great I have really curly hair like this and never found any hair dresser that can do a good job like this

TheJohasir: thank you very much. l Live in Milan and here don't know how to cut curly hair (every time l asked a well cuted hair woman answerd that their stylish were in other cities) It seems simple but l dont know why is so difficult and frustrating: the last one cuted one size shorter (twice) and the second one leave me a hole! thnk to your video l found the solution! it existed. thanks again..

Marilyn Phan: Awesome cut!
