Hi, I'm Karen and thank you that you join me again when I gon na show you hairstyles forth in here. So I have my friend on a year and didn't know her. She has this French twist and close it with this almost every day. So I had the idea I have to show her how to do another hairstyle once for the first hairstyle. You do part the hair like this and clip it to the side. Then you just backcomb bit here in the middle. You just take this from, but your pillow comb and place it right here, because it's back home it stays it will not move. If you don't back home it it's lights out, leave the front I'm out again because I wan na happens. It'S very soft. Look back home better daily, not much! You just want to have a little volume and then you slightly brush it go over the pillow and actually you can pin it in the pillow. Take this part under the pillow and back home bit a little bit. So now you have both sides pinned in the middle. Now we take our upper section and again backcomb little bit and here's one brush not too much. If not you brush everything out, would you just back home just roll it a little bit take a needle like that and just pin it and because you have to pillow under first you have the volume and there is something which holds didn't depend. Then you take the hair, we just lift you just back home with a little and twist it bring it up and you can pin it under the pillow. Just take one bobby pin at the end that convert a little, you have vol hairstyle. So you see you have a very nice hairline this time I want to have a side part and I pop the hair from ear to ear we're back home with a little bit. We bring it in ponytail and I use one of these. I like them because they really stay. I will take this, it's like a doughnut and put it around the ponytail and we have to face so for that I take a bobby pin and just fix it once then you take the ponytail, Pat it into back home. One side and back home the other side, so we have both parts. We have the needle in our hand, and then we just wrap the hair around this donut and then pin it and, as I showed you in another video as well, do not only go in like this. Take some I'm here in the donut: go in grab some of the hair out here and go back and it's safe. She will not loose back, pin the other side the same you just messed this around the donut again go in. You feel the donut go out and then go to this side and back and then it's in it will not fall out very nice Shenyang open the hair up here, section one back home with a little wrap this here around the chignon and pin it again again. We have another fast hairstyle and she has much more volume. So now we come to hairstyle number three. We do a side part again. This time we put the hair in three sections section, one and the hairband, so we don't place it here. We go higher up and place it up here. We have this three ponytails. We start with the lower one back home, it maybe one back home with a swirl and the third one as well. Take some needles or you can take bobby pins and just wrap wrap. It around just wrap it around very easy and pin it and the third one you do the same just up here. So we have it a little uneven here and pull it apart. A little bit put some parts out, and here it's just grab two here, pull it out a little to give it a little bit more volume here. So we have this very, very simple hairstyle, with it three ponytails and then wrapped it around, and it has a nice effect. I think so you see and because I did not do the third one here, it's more interesting. So now I'm done with my three hairstyles. I hope you liked it. I enjoyed it a lot to show you what to do with thin here. Please give me a like down there and I'm always happy about comments. So please, please leave a comment. So if you're wondering how do I prep the hair like this, please join me in my next video. I gon na show you the secrets how I prep thin here and I'm sure you will like it, and it will help you to push your thin here. A little bit so please stay with me join me the next time, and thank you very much for watching bye.

Melodie Johnston: I loved this video. I am missing the centre portion of my hair-shaft (medulla) and have very, very fine hair (not a lot either) and I found these styles appealing and do-able. I also absolutely love the presentation; calm, soothing, engaging with no unnecessary theatrics. You have a lovely voice, great diction and are very clear with instructions for every style. I also appreciated how gentle you were with her hair, very considerate. I've endured a lifetime of loud, overbearing stylists who, having no consideration or empathy for the dilemma of fine, thin hair, have yanked, backcombed to excess and lacquered my my fragile locks to unreasonable levels to make up for their lack of skill. Congratulations on a great video, created by a gifted professional. Please post more.

Chiara Procopio: LOVED this. I have super thin hair and I don’t have a lot either and I feel like I can never do something nice with my hair. Finally a tutorial for people with hair like mine! We exist and deserve to feel pretty too. Thank you Karen

Lulu Baniqued: I love the easiness of doing those sophisticated up do's for fine thin hair like mine!! Thanks for sharing your ideas Karin!! Much appreciated☺️

Moni B: As adorable as that is.. there is zero% chance of her being able to recreate it in the morning before she leaves for work

Michelle Paulsen: Wow - thank you for sharing this. I love the 3rd one as it is something that I can do and looks like I spent a lot of time. I have thinning hair that is fine - this made my day. Many thanks!

Christine White: I'm hopeless with my fine, sparse hair but managed to do these styles quite easily. I'm delighted!!

Tracey cobb: Great video and tips. This is exactly my hair! Did the first style once and it wasn't perfect, but close. Will try again! Thank you so much!

Melissa Culpepper: I love these styles! I can’t wait to try them! Thank you☺️

Linda Dearman: Wonderful. Thank you. I would like to see the model do her own hair, since most of us do not have someone helping us. A tutorial on herself would be helpful. Thank you.

DrummerlovesBookworm: I love these. I have “toddler hair” and I’m always looking for ideas. Thank you!!

Janette Johns: Hi Karen. I'm so happy I found your channel. I do exactly the same, putting my hair up and clipping it. After seeing your video, I tried the first stile and it looked great. It wasn't to difficult and I'm looking forward to trying the other two. I've given you the and have subscribed to your channel. I've just seen another one of your vids on thin hair. I was ment to find you

Daiva Baniene: Thank you, Karin, it's really nice and easy hairstyles. I have thin, but very healthy hair and double longer than your model. I will try some today. Have a great day!

Elona Bicaku: This was so fun! Love these sophisticated styles✨✨

Sarah Mason: I tried look #3 for New Year’s Eve and it was so easy! And I have 0 hair styling skills. Thank you! Please do more like this!

Marisa Young: Hello Karin, I purchased the Kevin Murphy angel wash and rinse and the anti gravity spray. Only used this once but it’s working well for me with my fine thin hair. Thanks so much. It was a bit pricey but the small amount used, it will last me for many months. Love the packaging too. Cheers to you! Marisa from Australia

Tracy Johnston: My mom has thin hair and those are great styles for me to show her....thank you so much!!

J Birdsong: Loved the first two beautiful styles- who knew I only had to hide sponges in my hair?! Subscribed!

NAI ANI: I love it! Actual thin hair for the tutorial. Also love how the women are wearing their gray hair and not covering it! Really pretty!

Dreamer: Thank you so much....I have the same hair and was doing the same thing she was with the clip. Love all three styles!

carol martin: Wonderful ideas ! Especially for my very fine long hair ! Thank you !

Mel Grimm: Love the styles for hair like mine. Thank you!

Katrina Calice: Loved watching these styles, thank you!

Jeannine Wiseman: Really great loved your tutorial. And your hair styles were lovely. Thank you for sharing.

cate zaida: OMGosh! Not only do I have fine, thin hair, it is turning silver as well! I stopped coloring it because it is just too much and does so much damage to my hair. I am so glad to have found this video as I am the one who always has the top knot with the claw clip. Never anything different, because what in the heck do you do with this mess??? YOU have a new subscriber! Thank you for showing me this! VERY grateful!

Kelly B: I am pleased to find this video! I shared, liked, and subscribed. I've always been afraid of these products and thought they were super complicated, but you've taken the fear away by showing alternative methods of use for my fine hair! They actually look pretty easy once I've practiced a little. That's thrilling since I have plenty of naturally long dark blonde hair all one length 3/4 down my back, but it's fairly fine with a little waviness that seriously needs some style. I have no clue except for ponytails, buns, and a couple braids (basic and fishtail). I do have a couple questions to complete my knowledge if you don't mind answering: You make it seem so simple to create a little lift in the front by pulling pieces and a little backcombing, and I don't manage to get more than odd bubbles. How do you make this happen? What do you do about leaving pieces out without looking like you meant to forget them? I know that's more relaxed and less stern, but I don't know how to pull it off with my OCD. If there's a typical rule of thumb I can run with, then that would make things so much easier for me! I've tried getting my hair tapered, but it's •never• been in just the right spot. Thank you! Whether you address my situation or not, this video simplified a mystery to me and gave me options! Also, I'm proud of you too! Thank you for your great tutorial! ⭐‍♀️‍♀️✂️

lllr: I think this is perfect! Great ideas , I will try them all. But if my hair is more slippery straight while thin, is there anything I else I can do?

Nan9311: I loved that you took the same style of thick hair and gave it to us thin and or fine hair girls,,, thank you!!!

lydia devilliers: Very practical hairstyles, they work very well for my soft, thin hair. Thank you very much.

Denize: Lindo e bem fácil!

Jeanne Alleva: These are very pretty and feminine, thank you. Would love to see tips for very long thin hair also.

Cheryl Raichert: Very nice! And easy! Thank you!

P. W.: Love this! And no fixatives! That’s a first and just what o need as I cannot tolerate the chemicals. Thank you soooo much!

Meagan Orr: I absolutely love your voice! Great tutorial. I have thicker hair, but I might still try some of these. Thanks!

Mary Suncin: I like the hairstyles you demonstrated. Thank you for sharing the technique.

Pamela Lieb: Thank you Karin, you are amazing!!! I learned so much

Lydia Devilliers: This helped me a lot with fine thin hair! No 1 is my best solution and I get my compliments. My hair is a bit short for No 2 & 3, but I am growing it into 2 & 3 Thanks.

L Khaleghi: Excellent work! Thank you for sharing

Vanessa Isom: Two of my sons are getting married within the next year, and I will definitely be using one of these styles for the events!!

Sassafrass2000: Thank you! These are lovely. I have always hated my thin fine hair but am learning to love it. These tutorials are soooooooo helpful. Two questions... I've always heard that backcombing is damaging to hair. Is that true? Second question is where do you get things like the spongy thing on the comb and the donut? Thank you again!

Lisa Bridge: Some great styles, thank you. You have helped me lots xx

paige elliott: Best.Videos. Ever. for fine or thin hair. Very good instructions and I love the classic, but loose, styles. But it’s true...you do need two extra hands to do theses. It would have been good to actually see the model trying to do these herself AFTER you show them because I’m trying to visualize how difficult it’s going to be to actually do these styles.

Denise Boertje: You can make your own pillow. Save the hair from your hairbrush until you have a good handful. Get your hands slightly wet, and vigorously rub the wad of hair in a circular motion until you have a rounded mound. The hair will felt together. You can make a long sausage shape for a french twist, or cut a hole in a mound shape for a donut. You'll have a base to build on that perfectly matches your own hair, washable (takes a couple days to air dry, or toss in dryer on low for 30 min), and you can make any size or shape, for free. I saw this idea 50 years ago in an old Victorian magazine. These hair poufs were called "rats". I've used them for years with my fine thinnish hair. I also don't want to spend more than 10-20 minutes doing my hair, and I want it to look great all day. Btw, 20-30 is all the time I spend on a black tie hair do. And it always looks better than a $50-$100 salon up do!

Gianna Della Ratta: You are awesome. I really love the way you style hair. Especially your video on thin hair. Thank you so much and please keep making more.

NILA Jackson: I agree it would be great to have you doing my hair! I could never do this on my own it is still a good video!!!! and at least I could show my hair dresser what I want! Cute ladies!

Jme H: Thank you for these hairstyles! I especially like the third one. I think it's cute and different.

Sunflower Dougherty: Such elegant hairstyles! Very soothing voice too.

Jill Pratt: Good job....I love how you demonstrate!

Rachel G: The 1st hairstyle! Wow, absolutely beautiful! I am definitely going to try it on my channel. I usually avoid backcombing, but its worth a try! Love it!!! ♡♡♡

oomybeauty: Wow, beautiful! Thanks!!

Nathalie Gavaldon: Thank you so much! This is very helpful. Where can I get the little foam pillow?

Piyali Sardar: Loved all the 3 styles... Especially the 3rd one. Please make more videos for short wavy thin hair... Love from India ❤️.

Tanya P: Do you use hairspray in the hair either before or after styling it? Also can you use any type of hairbrush or would you recommend a specific one?

Cindi Oldham: Oh, you are a magician with thin hair! I hope you make more of these videos. Thank you!

Linda Batchelor: Just what I needed to see. I am 72 and have thin hair but needed to look more pulled together. Love it

She Ferdz: Thanks for this useful tips. love trying on my own.

Heidi Johnson: Lovely! But there is no way I could do that by myself.

KAATTU NEELI ULTRA PRO MAX: I love this kind of messy hairstyles..its really cute for those who have thin hair. bcz l too have thin hair ❤

Kay Watkins: Love it! I will have to try these.

Maineuser: I really enjoyed watching this, Karin. Would you please leave links on your site of where one can buy all the supplies you were using? Thanks! Linda

Ellen Martin: So nice..but I could never do this to my own hair. You have such a soothing voice ...lol

Sirke Lundblad: It's easily done by another person standing behind. I don't think I'd manage doing this on backside of my head. I have done simple quick do twister in one minute. Gather all wanted hair low in the neck, twist all from neck on and use clip or pin to fasten it a bit further up. This leaves surplus hair above the pin hanging freely like feathers in the wind. That's something I can do with my thin hair. And off course an odd pony tail too Thanks from .

Caron Crotz: awesome, Love it. got some new hairstyles, I always fiddle with my hair to find easy upstyles away from my back and neck and will find it easy, to do, if not, my daughter or hubby is always there to assist.

Connie Feltman: You caught me! lol I have been using a clip forever! Thanks for the ideas!

hellali51: Vielen Dank! Wunderschöne Frisuren! Toll erklärt!

Cicilia Svensson: These looks great, but I would never be able to recreate them by my self on my own hair

Robina Mahmood: Amazing amazing hairstyles bravo ! just looove them !

Janine Holland: Now I just need someone to do it for me

Megan Axtell: I liked this very much! Thank you

suzanne macgregor: Love it thank you for sharing, I will try to do these but not sure it will be so easy for me but practise practise practise xxx

Tammy Brown Barajas: Great video TFS what type of hair ties did you use?

Hazel Standridge: Love them all! ❤️

Dutigad 2020: The first style I liked, but unfortunately I couldn't put my arms up that high for any length of time to actually do it and navigate it as well. Hence her original style is what I wear all the time. Would love a style like that though.

Lucy van der HAVE: Nice video...You bring this very good. I go try it myself, thank you so much

Riz Quickeze: Great work..... I love ur hair styles.... It helps me a lot because I also have thin hair

Sherri Shurley: I love those hair styles!

Jolene 624: Very easy to understand! Thank you

S.k Magon: Those are really great..Will have to try tomorrow.Thank you.

Daisy: I have very thick hair and wear it short, but I enjoyed watching & listening!

SUSAN CHRISTY: Time consuming ...But lovely styles ...a video on quick daily styles might be a help....Thank you

Barbara Coronado: Love your videos...i have problems with thin baby fine hair. Thank you for the great ideas.

Farida Rasooly: very nice, cute and simple :)

Katrin Kramer: Nice Video! Thanks for inspiration!

Carol Willis-Holden: She may have fine hair (that's the hair texture), but she has TONS of hair (the thickness). No way is her hair thin! MY hair is both thin and fine and there's no way my hair would do ANY of this!

Befaceready Ankita Palit: I love it mam. I will try it on me.

SHERRY Dropauer: Excellent!! I think I could do this

Irene Hinojosa: I have fine hair but have never seen the pillow comb that you are using. Where can I find that piece? Great looks

Elza Smit: Wow didn't know that fine, thin hair can look that good

That's That: Thank you! You are a godsend!

lydia devilliers: This no ! style is very often a very succesful hairstyle for me. now my hair is long enough for style no 2! Big help for me, thankyou!

Cassandra Thomas: Where did you buy your brushes, it seemed very easy to work with it

: Beautiful!

Thinderella Edwards: Beautiful!

Wendy Muir: Does anybody else with fine hair try to avoid back-combing? I don't want to deliberately tangle/mat my hair. Eventually it will have to be combed out, and so much hair pulls out when you do that! NO BACK-COMBING FOR ME.

Miss: fabulous I am going to try them, thanks

Heather Lewandowski: Thank you for doing a video for thin hair,I always see videos for hair styles and they are impossible to do because the models in the videos have thick hair.

poolahpot: The pillow comb should be the color of ones hair Beautiful hair style. thanks so much! Love your accent! i could listen to you all day

Liane Mense: You speak very nice, it looks very nice and easy to do! Thank's

W Lucero: First style was not my favorite, but the other two were okay. Hairstyles always work better with someone else doing it. I always have a hell of time being able to recreate things I see on videos. Extremely frustrating.

Ann Lidslot: Hi Ms Gade, Could you tell me where to find those small coil hairbands, please. I've only seen the large ones and they are to big for my hair. I have tried the small hair elastics but when I take those out they rip my hairs with them. Thank you. Yours, Ann
