Hi everyone, Andrew Carruthers, here education, director for Sambia when we're creating one length, hair, cutting meaning every single piece of hair, is falling to the same point at the perimeter. We need to be very cautious of our elevation. Now we cut this at what we call zero degrees of elevation. That means everything's falling straight down into gravity. The tendency that we have a lot of times is to create graduation underneath the hair, because we want to control the hair. We want to push it into the head and, to be honest, you know if you're, okay, with a little bit of graduation, underneath that's okay. But if you want true one length, what we need to imagine is the hair almost being like a waterfall, especially once we cross the vertical transition of the head, meaning right here past this point. The hair has to wrap around the head and then down into gravity. It doesn't just fall straight down into gravity, so when you're creating your one length and you're getting up above this roundness of the head, it's very very important that when you control that upper surface that it wraps along the shape of the head and then it falls Straight down into gravity, we really love to cut one lengths in comb for this exact purpose, so that last section, if we were cutting this as a one length, we would place the comb in make sure that it comes down into the natural fall and be mindful Of any growth patterns here allow those to develop so that you're in true natural fall place in the comb and, as you come down, don't press the hair into the head. Allow it to fall down into gravity as if it's water falling over a waterfall you'll notice. If you practice that one little tip you're gon na have really really clean edges to all of your one length, hair cuts especially leaves really nice shoulder length bobs. We hope that helps you out behind the chair, thanks for watching I'm Andrew Carruthers education director for Sam, you

What is the cutting technique to control, without layers, in degree zero, if the hair will turn inward or outward? Thank you.
